Hi folks,
I’ve just installed the mobile theme and I want to clean up some of the sections (I’ve been searching through the forum here but can’t find a solution)
How do I go about:
– Hiding the breadcrumbs
– Hiding the category
– Hiding the author
– Adding a black line below the logo to add some seperation
Any help would be great.

Try to remove all of these plugins and reinstall them again from the Plugins section in Theme Panel.

It seems to be strange! Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so I can take a closer look at it. Also, you need to have installed the latest version of the theme so I can investigate this case. As a hint, you can make a sub-domain for testing where you can add the latest version of the theme.

You were right. There was a plugin conflict with Envira Gallery plugin.
After installing the tagDiv Mobile Theme you have to deactivate Envira Gallery, activate tagDiv Mobile Theme and them reactivate Envira.
Now is working fine!!!

Hello. I have a multisite installation with one primary site and other ten sites.
Is it possible to configure the filter in one of the blocks to show posts by one category that have been published in other site of the multisite?

thanks for the reply.
The theme is installed correctly. The mobile folder location is placed exactly as shown in your screenshot.
We’ve checked “td_walker_mobile_menu.php” file and tried to use a “depth” variable but it seem there is a recurring problem.
To summarize one more time…we have 3 levels of categories (main categories, subcategories and sub-sub categories).
It seems that there is a limit on maximal number of categories that could be displayed within mobile menu.
We’ve experimented with “depth” levels using values 0-4.
We’ve also tried to increased the number of categories using “depth” variable within “td_walker_mobile_menu.php” file but with no luck.
Is there any other way to increase the number of subcategories (that is second level or level below main categories or subcategories) that could be displayed within mobile menu?
I installed WPLM Plugin and integrated a language switcher into my top bar. The desktop version is doing great but on the mobile version the language switcher does not show up. The same happens when I move it into the main menu. The theme should be supported for this plugin. How can the language switcher be visible on a mobile menu?

Thank you for your information. I have been working with your theme for many years and I know good which plugins and requirements are necessary and work. The problem is quite clear with the new version. I had also deactivated everything that was not supported by you. It’s a mystery to me, I’ve never had major problems with the theme before. I have now installed version 9.7.2 again and everything works fine. What I will continue to do, I do not know yet. I depend on the website to work faultless.

Unfortunately we did not tested this plugins and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins. If you’ve installed the plugin and the page has errors that means the plugin is not compatible.

Depends on what exactly is happening, you mean the problem happens when you add a new post? Some more details would be helpful.
If you reinstall an older theme version, delete all installed theme plugins from the newer version, and install them again from the theme plugins panel

I update my theme every time via the Envato market plugin. Then what’s wrong with the installation? Anyways, tell your team to check the mail and help me to get out of this. It’s almost more than 24 hours. Feel very bad for these type of issues.

We will contact you as soon as possible if you have emailed us. And if you want to try fixing yourself you will have to make a clean install of the theme. That means that you will have to remove all of the theme files before installing this new update. Also make sure you have a backup first.

1. Seems that your trending news ticker display is a smart widget that can have desired parameters preset. However, we just transferred some posts from another theme in the past couple of days, and the entire display disappears when we set it to content added in the last 7 days. Any ideas on why that would be?
2. Do you offer a similar ticker system for Breaking News? Seems that breaking news are just set by recently posted, and is just a regular category. However, that doesn’t seem practical since breaking news are temporary and assigning a category is on the permanent side since they have to be changed manually. Is there a breaking news system that’s able to be customized the same way the trending news are?
3. How do we implement the reviews feature and what is it exactly?
4. Same question for the ‘gadget score’ on your theme demo.. what is that feature and how can a news website like ours utilize that?
5. Is there a way to let authors sign up and create an author’s account and profile themselves, or does admin need to approve and add them through the usual wordpress process? And in any case, will the theme automatically generate an author’s page for them, or is that also done by an admin?
6. Does fastnews have any type of team page where the staff is highlighted with their photos, bios, etc., as you see on many websites?
7. The other issue is the links below the main navigation on your fastnews demo isn’t quite lining up as the fastnews theme demo, after installing your recent theme update.
Since installing the update, we’re seeing this error message:

Continue to the above problem! Please read patiently. I have enabled AMP with Mobile Theme of Newspaper. When we select AMP from the theme panel. You won’t get to see the mobile theme at all even Mobile Theme plugin is installed, When you select AMP+MOBILE you will get to see Mobile them in Mobile. Moreover I cannot see AMP symbol in Google Search, why??????

1. I need to install WP-PostRatings in pages on my website. I must add this code <?php if(function_exists(‘the_ratings’)) { the_ratings(); } ?> on post page, but your theme use different “Post templates” and i can’t find where to insert the code so that it is added to all “Post templates”.
2. I need to use “WordPress Infinite Scroll by Auto Load Next Post” for Auto Load Next Post, but i don’t understand, what classes i need to write in “Theme Selectors” in plugin settings.

After the correct update to version 9.7.3, older posts are only displayed in AMP mode an an error on the bottom of the browser (Firefox and Chrome) “The website has technical difficulties”. Turning off the plugin, deleting it, reinstalling it, deleting the cache removing all AMP things etc. did not help at all. Can anyone help solve the problem please?
Does 9.7.3 have many more problems than the already listed ones? Then I would be glad to know, so that I can go back to 9.7.2. Our site depends on a working theme, thank you very much!
Quick question — For some reason, the thumbnails on Module 16 have stopped showing. I have installed and run the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin.
I looked in the Thumbnails on Modules and Blocks page, and couldn’t find a switch for Module 16. So, I turned on the 356×364 for MX16 just to be safe.
Since the thumbnails aren’t working for Module 16, I switched the blog page to Module 10, and that one is working with thumbnails showing.
So, this isn’t urgent. But, I just am wondering what could be causing the problem.
That would be the default page padding top, it’s usually bigger but the demo you have installed reduces it. To remove it completely try something like this, should work

Hi,
I suppose that you are referring to the appearance of a flash/time loading when you enter on your website, right? This behavior appears when you have additional customization through custom CSS code. Please notice that the CSS is working in cascade and the first time will take the code from style.css that is set it by default and then the theme will take the custom code that you have changed from the Theme panel and practically this flash is generated by this cause. As a workaround, you have to check your style.css and try to add directly to this file your desired custom code. So, if your problem is still there, please try to revert the theme to the default settings, without any customizations and let us know how it goes. Also, you can try to make a new install with the latest version of the theme and check the results. Also, please make sure every time you cleared caches. Noticed that the only files where you will have to edit are style.css. Also, please update the theme to the latest version of it.
If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Hi. I just purchased the newspaper theme and the theme panel isn’t working.
I had my host checking everything on their side but it all looks fine.
I installed all the plugins.
What can I do to make it work?

I’ve deleted the entire Nowspaper theme from the server and all the plugins.
I made a fresh install of the theme and when i tried to install the tagDiv Mobile Theme the same error appeared.
