the ‘advanced tab’ is now completely different. Can you please adviser what the recommended settings are for the current version super cache.

I newly installed theme. Also installed tagDiv Mobile Theme. Imported completely theme “Newspaper”.

In result I have mobile main page differences with compare of your demo:
my: http://www.fintechtobank.com (like described here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/)
yours: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ (same as PC main page)

Generally I would like to have same main page content structure as in your demo. How to setup this?

Hi, we noticed that we are having a problem in our front page header, after the logo we see

[vc_row el_class=”td-slider-row” full_width=””][vc_column tdc_css=”eyJhbGwiOnsibWFyZ2luLWJvdHRvbSI6IjIwIn19″]

Obviously the problem is that shortcode is not interpreted, the version of your Newspaper theme that we are using is 9.0.1, this problem happens just in the front page of the site, Any idea bout why is this happening? We haven’t install anything new lately.

How can I make the excerpt’s ellipsis clickable and eventually replace them with other characters?

I tried both to add the function

function wpse_excerpt_more( $more ) {
    return ' <a href="'. get_permalink( get_the_ID() ) . '">' . __('Read More', 'your-text-domain') . '</a>';
}
add_filter( 'excerpt_more', 'wpse_excerpt_more' );

in the function.php file of the child theme, both to install the plugin Advanced Excerpt but it does not work.
Any suggestions?

I have a problem with the mobile version of my site. When using the back button, it redirects to a malicious spammy webpage.

This only happens with the mobile site, and not the desktop version. Numerous people have checked the issue, and it happens consistently for every user.

I’ve been trying to find the problem, and my server hosts checked the database and found it to be clean.

They then just sent me this message, suggesting that the problem is somewhere in the newspaper theme files:

“Hello again,

Thank you for providing the credentials. I properly cleared the WP Rocket cache and installed one of the WordPress core themes, “Twenty Seventeen”. I activated this and I found that the site no longer redirected on mobile. After switching back to the Newspaper theme, the redirect came back. This suggests that the problem is part of the Newspaper theme. I am unfamiliar with this theme, but I would recommend removing the theme and reinstalling it from a known clean copy if possible. Additionally, I recommend your developer review the theme files for any obfuscated content or functions that would be causing the redirection.”

Please can you help? Have you heard of this kind of redirect problem before?

I am experiencing some compatibility issues with the WP Bakery Page Builder plugin and your theme. On my webistes it misses FRONT END editing mode.

At first I thought this would be a WP Bakery problem so I contacted them and asked what to do.
They gave me some tips but that doesn’t solved the problem at all.

I disabled all 3rd party plugins, various browsers etc. but that doesn’t helped me either.
Fortuneately I tried to change the theme to the standard Twentyseventeen theme and then the Front End editor was available and working back again.

What could be the reason that I don’t have the Front Editing mode available on all of my Newspaper 9 installations?

Get the HTTP ERROR when trying to add new photo any bigger than 320×320 pixels. Been in touch with host everything ok their end. Changed theme to TWENTY SEVENTEEN and images install ok. Anyone else have issue with the theme restricting the size of image you can insert?

After installing the theme, i couldnot able to see the featured image added to the posts in my website http://samacharspot.com/. can some one please help me out! i can view the images in inspect element bar clearly.

Well, I have the same issue like many of you. When I try to install it, I get:
The link you followed has expired.

I adjusted the Php settings like this:

which I think is a little insane, but anyway, I did everything in order to install it.

Not working 🙁 Same error, I just don’t know what to do besides this. Very disappointed, the theme looks amazing and I can’t wait to use it. Who would have thought installing could be such a big issue?

I have installed the Contact Form 7 plugin as recommended and using on my contact page. I need to increase the font size for the input text fields and also make the ‘send’ button bigger and different colour. Would you know the CSS code and where do I enter the CSS?

Noob question – I just installed the theme on WordPress. When I make changes in the live elements editor, it is taking forever to save changes. Any idea how can quicken this process?
