Regarding custom ads you can check the theme documentation

There you can see (on the left sidebar section) all the available theme options regarding ads.
When it comes to plugins, please note that not all of them are fully compatible with the theme. Some may not work properly and some might. Please follow the plugins installation guides if they are available.
If the theme options are not sufficient for your ad requirements and the plugin you mention is not working properly, you could use the Adrotate plugin. Many users have this plugin and are using it without any issues.

How did you update visual composer. Please only use a version released by us, and not from the plugin author. We need to test each version and make the proper adjustments first. Also, please note that in the current version we introduces our own page builder in the package and the plugin installs itself. if you want to use our page builder, please disable visual composer if not please disable the tagdiv composer. After you manage to configure them as recommended, then everything should work. There should be no problem installing a demo, or using the export/import feature.

Hey, I am trying to create a home page like the one in Gadgets Demo. I first tried to import the demo but for some reason my page keeps loading for a few minutes even after content is loaded. So, I uninstalled the demo and now i am trying to build it. Here are some problems that i am unable to fix so please help me with that.
– How do I remove the distance between header menu and first content block?
– What if the font being used in Gadgets demo?
– Main Menu hover color doesn’t change and there is no option of hover color in Theme Panel > Theme Colors > Main Menu (under header). The option Active and Hover color changes the color of whole block but i just want to change the text color like in Gadgets demo.
– How do I make sure that different blocks will not show same content?

When installing the demo content, 4 errors popped up during the installation. Afterwards, when browsing the site, icons and fonts are missing, it looks terrible. Not sure what might have went wrong?

it seems as if there is some confusion among the theme users concerning Visual Composer. Most of the links given by your support team are leading to 404 pages.
I understood that we can use it but don’t have to buy license.
But how can I manage addons for vc? I need an add-on for making nice tables.
But – I bought an add-on for vc for nice recipes and when I install it I am asked which license I do have.
Am I right that I cannot buy extensions and get it running without extra buying the visual composer??

After reading all the guide/tutorial on the forum about performance settings for Newspaper theme I decided to switch to W3 Total Cache.
Indeed i do not understand why WP Super Cache is recommended as it’s clearly inferior. I did a comparison between super cache / and w3 total cache with GTMetrix + Google Speed Insight and Pingdom. The clear winner is W3 Total Cache. Some theme like : http://docs.presscustomizr.com/article/243-speed-up-the-hueman-theme-how-to-setup-w3-total-cache-plugin offers clear Guide for W3 Total Cache for example.
One comment i have is do not use a CDN like cloudflare ! This is seriously slowing down your sites. I was struggling to get fast TTFB and as soon as i delete cloudflare my full loading time went to 2.2 seconds compared to 8 seconds before average.
Cloudflare is good if your host is really bad but in this case you better change it…
About my question, seems i installed w3 total cache i am having an issue with mobile menu of my site anonymster.com, when you open the menu on mobile and click on “review” the page doesnt load. Would you have an idea how to fix it ?

Just purchased Newspaper after watching video on theme and upon install/uploading Health & Fitness demo, I went to play around with it and I all i see is basic MCE editor, not one in video. Am I missing something?

Hello, I bought yesterday the newspaper and installed the baby’s blog theme.
I have been having some issues, and i need help to finalize this instalation:
1) I could not find where i can change the photo in the “about” – the round one;
2) The options on the footer came in blank, so i can’t change the names;
3) The Slider for mobile is not working;
4) The Menu for Mobile is not working;
5) The pages of this theme didn’t uploaded, so i cant change anything;
6) Next to the slider (on the left) appears bottons to like or not, i’m sure that should not appears there;
7) I would like to take off the twitter link below the photo in about, but if I do this the other links are not centralized. Is there any way to just leave the 3 links centralized?
It did not work. I’ve deleted the previous installation, optimized the database, and even so, when you enable the theme, the widgets area does not appear. This makes the use of the theme unfeasible.

Newspaper: The model can not be found.
A theme requires an index.php template file.
Child Themes require a style header in the style.css style sheet.”

I had this time and time again. Got told to clear cache, inactivate all over plugins etc and try again but I had no look.
As a last option I reinstalled the whole theme and up to now, it has been working fine.
The problem is still there with Visual Composer and with Yoast active. The newspaper template is the last version, but do you say maybe y have to install it again, overwrite template files by FTP? Or do I reinstall ir through wordpress themes? Please tell me.
Most often it’s
a) permissions issue due to how WP was installed (owned by apache, etc)
b) timeout issue while server trying to install
c) running out of memory, due to too little memory for WP (really should increase default from 40M to 64M or higher)
d) security setting on server for php
e) uploading corrupt file
f) timeout of your ISP connection to server
(( etc. ))
FTP is best way to install anything with WP.

Thew theme does not have a setting that could affect that. It is strange that by resetting the whole theme panel the field is displayed. All the post settings are in the theme panel, but I could not say if one of them could be responsible. Try enabling or disabling them, and see if this has any effect. Or changing the post template.
Maybe it is a caching issue. Try clearing any caching installed, and see if the restriction appears on the post.

It is a requirement of the theme. There are functions require those parameters as specified. Installing demos is one of them.
If you cannot edit the files, there has to be someone from the hosting that should have access and can help you.
