Hi,
for some strange reason the home page where I used TagDiv composer to design it is now out of order after updating to 9.7.3 the latest version of newspaper theme. However, when I log into my WP site, I see it normally fine. I logout and it gets disorganized again. I reinstalled and activated all plugins when updating. my system status is all green, so I know it was fine. Can you tell me what could be causing this?

Mobile logo will not display. Logo is placed under Theme panel >> Header >> Logo for mobile (Logo mobile and Retina logo mobile). Cache is cleared on mobile. What’s wrong here?

issue: my child HEADER.php seems not to be loaded
I am using newspaper v 9.7.3 and the child theme. I copied the theme’s HEADER.php to the child theme folder.
Then I added some stuff in the <head> section, just scripts and links.
In the previous version all worked, but since the update from 9.7.2. to 9.7.3 my child HEADER.php seems not to be loaded.
My script and links do not appear when the page is rendered.
Maybe because of the first few lines in that header file?:
php code in the first few lines:
do_action(‘tdc_header’)
if (has_action (‘tdc_header’)){return}
If I delete that code … my modified header file is apparently loaded … but the page is not rendered correctly any more (e.g. the logo is missing). So, I am stuck here.
What does that php code do? First registering an action and then returning if it is registered? Maybe something to look into?
HAS ANYBODY used the child theme with a modified header.php file.

From that section, you can change the source link to your logo. So, if you want to redirect the logo link from the homepage (which is set up by default) you will need to use a plugin for Redirect, like 301 Redirect, as an example.

@mindfulifit After you install the demo you can begin to customize it. Set your own logos, menus, edit the pages and set the blocks and grids to display your own content etc.
Start from the top for example, with the header. Set your own logo and menu, configure the header with your own data. The homepage which is provided when the demo is installed with content can be edited with the tagDiv composer, each element in it can be customized

I upgraded today Newspaper to the 9.7.3 version, but many elements on the tagDiv Composer are gone: I can’t find anymore the “Widget sidebar” or the “Raw HTML”. I really need them, what can I do?
Then, I should put 5 images under the header logo, one beside the other: they must appear both on the homepage and on the single articles. Where can I go?

Thanks Calin but I’m not looking to change the menu but to add a special frame.
I want to have a normal menu (with logo, categories…) but when visitor scrolls, I want to display an ads banner that replace/hover the menu.

Thanks the issue has been resolved.
The problem was with Yoast plugin, I have uploaded the site logo and site name under SEO -> Search Appearance -> General -> Oragnization.
I found no way to build a custom header using only one image 1280 X 183 px and an image map. The header models 9, 10 & 11 should support they shrink the image. Any bets?

I understand now, but it is not easy. On one hand AMP specifies that the main logo should be 60px in height, as it is now – http://prntscr.com/o1ublo – http://prntscr.com/o1uds1
You would have to remove this code in order for the logo to be bigger

Then it will look like this – http://prntscr.com/o1udjw so it will require some CSS to change the design, and CSS in the old AMP plugin can only be entered like mentioned here

It doesn’t have any settings to change the logo size or center it. This plugin is a simple plugin with the design based on the Yoast website

I want to make the header and footer the same size as it looks in normal desktop. At this time, the header is positioned most left side and too small, while the size of footer is also very small.
1) Please make the both logo the same size
2) Please position the header logo in the center as it looks very disturbing on far left side.
Would be please provide me the code so that the both logos looks same like in desktop or mobile devices.

Hi, the portrait view for my menu when viewed on an Ipad is a little off. More specifically, the menu items cross into the logo. If you visit the site here (https://dev.dezignark.com/) and decrease the screen size, you’ll see the ‘stories’ menu item overlapping with the logo. This only happens in portrait mode when using the Ipad. Is there some css I could add to prevent this?

I’ve changed my favicon at HEADER / LOGO & FAVICON / FAVICON.
I think the image complies all the requirements (16×16, not in png). However, my browser is still showing the old favicon.
I’ve deleted navigation data, but the problem persists.

we would like to display membership shortcode on the mobile theme -> something like this -> [pmpro_account]
When we try to enter this both on pages and posts the mobile theme doesn’t not render this shortcode (while it does render others we have).
What can be done to resolve this as we need to display this shortcode to be able to login/logout registration etc.

Didn’t see a similar topic and I realize in 2019, avoiding theft or copying is nearly impossible regarding content BUT:
Is there a code to create an overlay or a dummy image when right clicking the websites logo? I’m not proficient enough in coding to tinker myself but I’m really wanting to avoid people being able to take the png version of my logo (a lot of sites seem to have “download linked files as” as the only real option when right clicking their logo).
