Hi,

Actually the logo should look like this by default with that header style, on all pages
https://www.screencast.com/t/ujmjFaUaLBR
Most demos contain custom design, the one you have installed sets these parameters for the logo when using header style 10
https://www.screencast.com/t/kHolqYtK
If you were to remove that customization from the shown file, the issue would be solved. But if the theme will be updated this operation will have to be done again.

Why does this customization not look the same for all pages? because of the h1 the logo is included in when there is no other h1 in the page.
This interferes with the demo customization, some CSS is not applying properly. That is the case for the homepage you currently have. The category pages for example have a h1
https://www.screencast.com/t/9MzGwCIsQZmK

The temporary solution is to use the code I provided until this is fixed by us. For reducing or removing that shift, enter the code directly in the theme stylesheet, at the bottom.

I already added this on the issue list for fixing. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks

Thank you Simion!

I’ve implemented the code and now its in line with the other categories/pages.

Is there a reason why the home page has a different header line height than the other category/post pages? I’m asking because the code provided seems to solve the problem but now the logo can be seen shifting from the original location to new location (200px lower) on the “home” page vs any other category or page. Is there a way to fix that? I’m asking because I’m presenting this website soon and I need the basic visual appearance and functions of the site to be intact.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

Hi,

I just finish the website I was developing with your theme, but now that I’m making the final tests I realice that from time to time when I click on the logo to go back to the home or sometimes just when I first enter the website, it suddendly stop loading.

If you want the footer logo to be similar to the top logo, create a logo of 100×100 and use that.

Or remove the code provided in that topic, and use this one to limit the 183px logo to the header logo size
https://www.screencast.com/t/2KGQujBE8

.footer-logo-wrap img {
max-height: 100px;
max-width: 100px;
}

Dear, I want to use the 183 logo, but I want to keep the logo similar size in mobile devices. Please help me out…

If I want to make the logo similar again, then what will I do?

The only problem with this bigger logo is on mobile
https://www.screencast.com/t/W0b6bN2zQHX
Remove the code provided in this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/footer-logo-size-in-mobile-devices/
I gave you that code which worked for that situation at the time, to make the header logo similar to the footer logo.

Hello,

Header styles 9, 10 and 11 will show the exact size you upload you logo in. However, please make sure you upload he full size, not a thumbnail of your logo: https://www.screencast.com/t/xpeVGHXyaAf

Thank you!

Hi,

Sorry for the misunderstanding, that is indeed an image. It is the header logo image, this default demo image can be replaced wit your own, in the theme panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/

The header style used for that demo is style 11
https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
This style does not have a limit for the header logo, you can use any image size you want.

The footer logo can also be changed in the theme panel
https://www.screencast.com/t/Xz4jWbZTTmI

Please let us know if you have more questions, or you need help with something.
Thanks

Hello,

The color change you are seeing is the default theme color which loads first and then your own custom color is applies. This is the way css works in cascades. This effect becomes more visible if you make speed optimization and move the css load to the page footer. We cannot say for sure about the logo until we can inspect the site though.

Thank you!

Dear, I have re-uploaded the footer logo with dimension 183 x 183. You just have to minimize the screen a bit and the logo will be stretched and deteriorated. I have added the screenshot. Please see this:

https://ibb.co/hmi2yz

This happens when I try to minimize the screen. Please help me to solve this problem.

Hi
I have entered my logo for the header style 10 but it will not appear in a large enough size. Can you confirm the max size I can use please.
Thanks

1. Here is the full documentation (plus tutorials for configuring the theme) https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
2. How to change the logo (look for text title and tagline) https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/.
3.How to edit the front page of the demo https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
(I don’t work here).

Remove the code that I provided for the margins initially (space), this one

.td-footer-bottom-full .td-pb-row>div {
margin-bottom: 0;
}

This code removed both these margins – https://www.screencast.com/t/SSCLy36Rg

Now the new one will remove only the margin below the logo, you said that you want some space between the email and social
https://www.screencast.com/t/QFFXdC1KhUA
So the margin below the About us will remain – https://www.screencast.com/t/qcqEBG3uLX4

If none of this is what you want, remove all the codes provided in this topic and explain in more details how you want it to look. Make some screenshots so I can provide a more accurate solution.

The result should be like this using the intended codes only, the ones below
https://www.screencast.com/t/bLh5xKR96BC

.td-footer-bottom-full .td-pb-row>div.td-pb-span3 {
margin-bottom: 0;
}
.td-theme-wrap .td-footer-bottom-full .block-title > span {
color: #ffd100!important;
}

That would be the only way to do it. So you select the field I mentioned and click apply
A success message should appear – https://www.screencast.com/t/IlcUuGvCFjos

Then the logo upload should appear in the admin texts
https://www.screencast.com/t/EO5R1ffi
Try also to scan the theme for strings – https://www.screencast.com/t/9rzNDBymQkv

That would work I have tested it multiple times. The only way the string would not appear is if there are problems when saving after you select the string. I had this problem previously, I believe I fixed it by increasing the max-input_vars
https://www.screencast.com/t/dLXeFI9VaKba
Be sure your configuration meets the WPML and theme requirements
https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Higher than minimum or recommended is usually better if possible.

That would be how the logo is displayed with that header style. The size is limited with a max-height
https://www.screencast.com/t/qvIAzTNar
Most header styles have a recommended logo size to be used
https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/

A larger logo can be used with header styles 9, 10 or 11. These do not have any limit in terms of size for the image. You could use one of those, it would be like this with your current logo
https://www.screencast.com/t/dIPezyEG
The image used also has much white space so maybe you would also need to re-create it, make it more compact if possible to avoid unused space that causes a big height
https://www.screencast.com/t/36RmdT9j

Simion C.

I already did that before – https://www.screencast.com/t/OkHoASBHEo0
https://www.screencast.com/t/dqBeMNUgJ
The logo is not stretched and deteriorated. Set it in your website and I will take a look.

Comparing the two logos, smaller one and larger
https://www.screencast.com/t/oxXoLoRkSc

Note that on mobile the code provided here will apply
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/footer-logo-size-in-mobile-devices/

Why not set the larger one it in the first place, and mention the problem with it. We would have checked it. That would be faster instead of all this investigation.

Dear, thanks for your understanding. but, I want to use the logo in 183 x 183 dimension, but it stretched and deteriorated, so I have to change it to thumbnail size of 150 x 150 and it works perfect for me.

For more understanding I am now uploading the pic of 183 x 183 dimension logo. Please adjust this logo at your end and see the result for it.

https://ibb.co/cYqg3z

Please download and adjust this logo in the footer and see the results. Thanks

You are using footer template 4 – https://www.screencast.com/t/1gixEqxC3Ff
In this example with the same footer template I first set a logo of 800×800 size
http://prntscr.com/ke4t9w
http://prntscr.com/ke4svw
In this example I set a logo of 16×16
http://prntscr.com/ke4tgg
http://prntscr.com/ke4tpc

So it can be seen that the logo is displayed in the size I upload it in. There are no changes made to the image size, not stretched or reduced.

You are uploading this logo
https://www.pakdefense.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/FOOTER-LOGO-183-X-183-150×150.png
When you should be uploading this one
https://www.pakdefense.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/FOOTER-LOGO-183-X-183.png

Please again make sure you upload the logo image in full size, not a thumbnail of 150×150

A link to the website if possible would be very helpful, so I can inspect the logo first hand. Post a link and I will take a look.

I would like to add our brand’s logo on the top left of the bar of the menu that appears when I scroll up, the same icon that I placed on the regular header of the site http://www.trendymami.com. Is there a way to do it?
Thanks!

Dear, I am using the footer logo style 10 and the same style I have used for header logo. The pic I have used in the header has dimension 183 x 183 and it works perfect, but when I uploaded the pic with dimension 183 x 183 in the footer logo, then it appears somewhat stretched and I have to changed its dimension to 150 x 150 and it works perfect here. I want to ask that if you are saying that the footer style 9,10 and 11 will support any image resolution, then why my image is not showing correctly as the case with my header logo. Please help me on this issue.

Hello,

how to turn off the hover effect on header?

When the homepage is loading the header has light blue color and the header logo (I have header type 12) i displayed correctly. But after about one second the header color changes and the logo does not appear correctly any more but only partially.

Hi Simion- Thanks for the response. I am able to post the logo but it is extremely small and even when I post a larger image it still appears small on the website

Hi,

You can set any logo you want in the theme panel. For the header and footer
https://www.screencast.com/t/Z1uxGaAOh9od
https://www.screencast.com/t/LktQDy4JvGJj

This is specified in the theme documentation
https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/

Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
