You have to change logo url from Theme Panel to https and also footer logo – http://screencast.com/t/B9Bd3uON – http://screencast.com/t/70l7Vo4dDjEJ Also this error may cause issues – http://screencast.com/t/hgiJSqOF it is from a script you have to change http there(I think that it is in a text block widget).
You have to fix some of those errors as the theme was not designed for https.

The header style 3 and 6 was designed like this to not use mobile logo, but like I said all header styles will be changed in Newspaper 5.
Untill the you can try to make this change in menu-header.php file – http://screencast.com/t/2S3dTDOoo8u and now you can upload mobile logo – http://screencast.com/t/tMwGGtAbIOh this will be used on mobile devices.

After your help I’ll probably just stick with the stock menu provided with the theme….but will need help on a few things:
1. That Hover/Click issue. Do you notice Hover doesn’t work on Google Chrome? I want it to hover.
2. Can I change the background color for the dropdown menu? Active/Hover colors?
3. Logo on Flyout menu
4. YES, the CSS you provided DOES take away the arrow-dropdown indicators, BUT how can I then CENTER the word instead of leaving that blank space to the right of the menu word?

Last week I bought your theme NewsMag.
Everything was perfect but I have one small request.
At the top of the header with the logo is a script for the ad.
I would like that in this ad is replaced with a picture in .jpg format. I’m entered the path for the picture but I have a problem. Adblock blocks that picture because it is recognized as an ad.
Please tell me how I can change it?
Another problem I have with the smaller menu on the left side. It does not appear on my website http://www.mraclin.hr.
How can I activate that please?

For those who care about my thoughts on this; based on 9 years of suffering WordPress oddities, I usually do this to ensure logos actually work
a) upload logo image via FTP to your image folder (uploads or whatever if you changed it; or even to custom images folder if you want)
b) in the admin panel put in the full URL (not server path) to the logo image, then click SAVE, and then preview of logo will appear showing theme can “see” the logo file(s)
c) clear caching
d) if logo still doesn’t show on site, it’s a caching issue — e.g., look at the page source for your page, and LOOK to see what image is actually loading on your page — is it the right one? If not, then likely cached. If not, go back and double check your logo setting “stuck.”
This may not help you, but it’s how I do it for my sites out of paranoia and logos work on all sites perfectly.

I have the same problem with the logo I want to upload. Neither “From Computer” nor “From URL” works. Old Default logo always stays in place.
Even if I remove the default logo the new logo won’t show.
Whereas the “Logo title attribute” shows perfectly on the page.

4. Thanks…can I also have the AREA for those arrow indicators be completely GONE instead of HIDDEN? Now when I hover, the top level menu word isn’t centered.
2. When a PLUGIN version of MegaMenu or UberMenu is implemented, the Logo on Sticky for above responsive breakpoint doesn’t work poperly.

I have checked your site and did not found any issues with mobile menu. Did you solved the issue?
1. I guess that you refer to the mobile menu, you have to click to the arrow for parent categories – http://screencast.com/t/kd8pMwKJ as if you click on the category, the link will be loaded. I’m not sure if this is your issue please provide more details.

I have a problem according to the logo on sticky menu. Although it has enough space (on PC) it breaks menu to 2 rows. I am currently using “Style 10 full menu + text logo” in Newsmag. Version 1.7.1.

Also, a few more things.
1. Why do the menu links don’t click properly until the second time. When I click a menu to drop it down, it double clicks really quick and doesn’t drop down. Trying on the second time it works flawlessly.
2. How can I integrate the LOGO coming down on the Sticky Menu WITH UBERMENU (If I can get that integrated)?
3. How can I place logo on the fly-out mobile menu?

I think the top right elements are using a custom font, or png files.
You can probably look for the module for the social iccons in the theme folder, and perhaps try to edit that.
Virtually no site on the web uses the “official” graphics from the social sites as they are often not same size or “style”; most use the official logo but with custom iterations for consistency — e.g., TIME doesn’t use the official social buttons, nor does CNN, etc. Many now use the font awesome font set which has all the social icons and load faster than individual graphics. Others use sprites vs individual graphics for better pagespeed rating.
So take those issues into account if hacking the design elements 🙂

Sorry to bother you all but I’m a rank newb at this. Scoured your documentation, but couldn’t find anything that helped.
Here is the issue:
I am using Footer style 6 with a widget in the centre column and another widget in the right column. (Left is merely text and not an issue.)
To make everything nice and pretty, my main menu background, the footer background, and the accent colour are all the same color (which is also an accent in my logo).
Unfortunately this means that the hover color in the footer makes the links vanish into the background color.
I am already using a child theme, and have been searching through the Parent theme CSS to try and figure out which line or lines of code are setting the footer link hover colors, but have been unable to find them. I’ve made a few guesses and overrode some lines but nothing has worked. I’ve only been using WP for a few weeks so I’m pretty crappy at it, but this method seemed the right way to go.
The two widgets in question are “Pages” and “Meta”. The site is ctrlp.press.

Hi,
1. The images are cropped for different sizes to be used on modules and you have this issue because of image aspect ratio. You can change the height size so the aspect ratio of the image to be closer to the aspect ratio of the picture – http://screencast.com/t/Uor66sP8FL0 but unfortunately there isn’t an ideal image size so it can look good on all thumbs, also depends which blocks/modules that you use for aspect ratio and you have to do some tests and see what aspect ratio to use.
