Hi Marius,

thanks! I could add the logo to the menu! Is it possible to provide me the the right css so that the main logo above disappears when you see the page on desktop & tablets but is shown when I visit the site on a mobil device?

This is the site: http://viralstories.de/

THIS would be awesome and you would save my day!

Thanks a lot

I found the problem. if I use a 300×100 logo, it is okay. However, when using 600×200, menu doesnt act for the 200 pixel height. After -100 pixel menu becomes sticky to the top.
Forget what I have said till this post, now the problem is this. I want menu to become sticky after 200 pixel, which is my logo height.

Hi marius please check this

http://oi60.tinypic.com/2i7ol5v.jpg

These two menus have both logo over them. But in the screenshot, you can see that each of them behaves differently.
I think fashion menu is supposed to go top when it becomes completely unvisible. But as you can see, it goes top while we could touch it. And even if the main theme has a logo and advertisement above it, it works healthy.
I can’t see any differences between these two menus on desktop. Scroll up causes problems for the fashion.

The main thing I say here is that fashion menu goes top unnecessarily(because we can touch it on its original place) after a little scroll down.

Hi,
You can put you logo directly in menu, like a link using <img src="link to your logo" /> then you need to adjust it a little via CSS. http://screencast.com/t/klXNT9666Z2

Add the logo and if you don’t manage it to fit it, give us a link to see the issue and we will provide you a CSS.

Here is an example but is only on scroll, scroll down to see the logo: http://www.uesmag.com/

Thanks!

Hi,
Is like that because that style have something above the menu and is not sticky to the top like you can see here: http://screencast.com/t/1rqMrZe9i

And the problem is not only on android systems, is on IOS to, when you scroll, the page doesn’t refresh the elements, only when you left the finger from the screen, or in some cases when you scroll smooth and slow.

Check it on an iPad, you will understand better how it works. And this issue is more visible if you have something above the menu(in your case the Fashion style have the logo above, or ad)

Thanks for the message!

Hello,

I’m using W3 Total Cache plugin as per your recommendations. I’m only using page cache, but i still have issues with cache on the site.

For example, when i do logout through login-form plugin (placed in top header), i still see my self logged in, and if i publish a new posts it won’t show on the BigSlide.

All problems disappear when i disable W3 Total CAche plugin.

There are many other parameters on the plugin, i’m not sure that everything is as it should be. I’m sending my W3 Total Cache configuration to you by mail.

Thanks for your help

Hi Marius,
kadininrehberi.net this is my website.

But today, I think I have found something. I guess my problem is about
the header style I am using.You know fashion style has the main menu right under the logo. After clicking on the menu icon, I could see that the sticky menu that appears when you scrool down goes back to its default place. I think that menu movement causes this problem. Please check it, thanks in advance.
I am using “xperia neo v” by the way, an old phone I know, but it has android 4 browser anyway. Also tested on it dolphin browser, the same problem for me.

Do you use the retina logo from Theme panel? http://screencast.com/t/qYGhGp1P4 that is for phones with retina. If not don’t use try with this CSS, add it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS

@media (max-width: 767px) {
	.td-full-logo .td-logo img {
		height: 44px;
		top: 3px;
		width: 38px;
	}
}

Thanks!

HI,
usually most social media will pull from your meta tags which is usually the featured image for page; most will only use JPEG or PNG images, not GIFs since those are not technically a photo and more often used for ads (put another way some social media SHOULD grab animated GIFS but don’t do so consistently!).

So, on your page you have no images for story on page, only a video, and the OG tags show this:
<meta property="og:image" content="http://thegeeze.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Ibrahim-Hamato-Nothing-is-Impossible.gif" />

Which is an animated GIF from the video.

Most social media will
1) look for compatible open graph and meta image specified
2) image in post
3) images on page, such as logo or banner ad, if they can’t grab another image

But upshot … it’s sometimes hit or miss what image social media will pull. Twitter has become the best at this, and most of the time G+, but Facebook is really a dog’s breakfast.

You have no 100% consistent way to control images served to social media.

Often if you submit the link manually, you may have option to use < > arrows to select the image you want (Linked IN, and Facebook often work properly in this way). Sharing from buttons is *always* a little hit or miss.

Hello

we have one issue with the logo display on mobile (Android, Samsung Galaxy S4).
We’ve defined the logo with Theme Panel, but it’s showing big on mobile.

our site: http://www.fantasy-coach.fr

We are not web experts, maybe there is some extra work to do for responsive configuration?

Thanks for your help and support

Hi,
the theme doesn’t supports that out of the box and it will have to be custom made. You can use envato studio for this: https://studio.envato.com/

Is there a way to have the logo and share buttons in the header for posts, like on Mashable?

For example:

Hello, thanks for your answer, but I have the same problema.

Now, I set the size 720×90 as you tell me, but when I make bigger the window, the ad didn’t adjust to the maximum dimension and placed here (http://es.tinypic.com/r/21odis/8). So, to watch the ad at 720×90 I have to make bigger the window and reload it and looks like here (http://es.tinypic.com/r/28jh2fn/8). But, when I try to reduce the windows, the ad put over the logo of the web (http://es.tinypic.com/r/14dhu7a/8).

How can I fix it?

Hi,
Is like that because the AD overlapping the top menu. Please remove that moving header: -24px and add this CSS in Theme panel -> Custom CSS

.td-a-rec-id-header {
    top: 6px;
}
.header-logo-wrap > a {
    display: block;
    height: 100px;
}
.header-logo-wrap {
    margin-top: 0px;
}
Marius

Hi,
Is like that because you use a logo at 90px in height, you need a logo at 100px at last.
To fix that you can use this CSS, add it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS

.header-logo-wrap img {
    padding-top: 10px;
}
.header-logo-wrap a {
    display: block;
    height: 100px;
}

Thanks!

Hi,
The background is fine, you need to use a larger logo to make the header more bigger, we used there a logo at 600 x 200 px. Here is the logo that we used: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/bg_images/fashion-header.png

I don’t understand you question. The theme functionality is the same, no matter what style you use, fashion or cafe or anything else. If you mean to make a post as Featured, you need to add it in the Featured category.

Thanks!

hi

I have adjusted the header position up a little (-24px) in order to have it display my ad correctly, however since doing that the social icons on the menu bar above the header ad no longer work.

http://connecteddigitalworld.com/

can you advise how to fix this please as I would like both the ad and my logo centered as they are now, but with those menu links working.

thanks

Hi!

I would like to change the effect for Linked Widget Titles. If someone hovers into the Linked Widget Titles, an underline shows up there. I want to delete the underline effect and add a Fade effect. (on hover)

I also want to add a Fade Effect to the main logo, as well as all the links.

Please let me know if this is possible via some css.

thanks!

Hi,
You can add the image of each author directly in menu editor using <img src="link to the logo" /> http://screencast.com/t/y5qHl10OT3k
