Hi tqripple,
Most of the time this problem was related to an extra plugin. In case that you have other plugin then tagDiv plugins, please do a test using only the theme plugins and see if the problem persist.
Also, please be sure that the theme requirements are set like in our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ in special wp memory limit.
Thank you!

Hi Team,
Im facing unresponsiveness, hanging issues, pages and post editor not loading, basically the setup is useless, and The front-end of the page never really loads even in an hour.
I’ve found out that the website works fine in the older setup with PHP 7.4 and not in PHP 8.0, please fix the issues as we cannot use the older version of PHP in the Production Server.
Here is a screenshot of my system status,

I updated the htaccess to this: <IfModule mod_substitute.c>

SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M

</IfModule>

That did not work.

I have increased the memory limits on other sites and that did not work.

I have disabled the Tagdiv plugins but was not able to edit.

Hi guys, sorry if this already been asked.

My provider has increased my WP Memory limit to 256, but it still says 40 in the panel. This has been going on for a year+. Has anyone resolved this? Any tips?

Between the mess of the reviews by the theme and composer + 218MG in the backend with no solutions ( https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/peak-memory-usage/ ). Step forward as a CPT, it’s three steps back on everything else.

Hello

I am getting all bascially 100% page speed scores and all greens in other metrics on desktop and mobile now. However, one last thing I cannot work out in the diganostics report is Avoid an excessive DOM size 1,751 elements.

A large DOM will increase memory usage, cause longer style calculations, and produce costly layout reflows. Learn more.TBT

Hi,

I’ve tried but still no changes are happening.

I the above example. No only the header is the issue but also the
CATEGORY TOP POSTS STYLE don’t change so i assume it’s a general issue.

I increased also the memory limit on the HostGator.

Can i get support from someone from the team that can actually check it and see what’s all about?

Will be really grateful.

Thank you,

Hi trebol30,
We recommend from the start to use wp memory limit 256MB -> https://i.imgur.com/78VTWZk.png also we recommend to use a host that can provide at least 2GB memory for your website (for a cheap host) and at least 4-8Gb for VPS and dedicated server -> https://i.imgur.com/G8qMbmj.png
So the fact that the plugins that make up the whole theme and offers 90% of the theme features consume 200MB does not seem a bit exaggerated, but it depends on host you are using, and in your video I saw that the limit for you is 512MB, not even 1Gb.
My recommendation is to upgrade the host or replace the host with a better one that can give you more resources.
Thank you for your understanding!

Please, my website (https://mp3worship.com) is having a serious issue with the download links after an update, I have called on my host and my personal technicians, and they both confirmed that is a problem with my themes. All my downloads links suddenly stopped working, and when I download mp3 file maybe after trying consistently, it download with a KB memory size and won’t play.
Right now even new download links are not working, all my audio files are in mess.
This article also confirmed that it’s a theme related problem: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/398245/clicking-download-mp3-downloads-0kb-file

The solution, on my side which my coder discovered and your folks triggered his memory as they could add the link, is that YOU MUST PASTE THE LINK IN PLAIN TEXT. I operate on a Linux system. The way that code is interpreted from browser over is oft times different. I don’t know if this affects Windows or not, but worth a try. My issue is solved and my part of this thread may be closed. Thank you to all parties in the process.

Hi Amit, Thank you for your reply
How to fix: https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/wordpress-missed-schedule/
Here are my settings as follows:

Manage Cron Jobs Directly Through my Server and disabled by WordPress
php -f /home/a12345/domains/mysite.com/public_html/wp-cron.php (FOR EVERY 1 MINUTE)

/** Increase PHP Memory. */
define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );
define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘768M’ ); // Administration tasks

My timezone is correct in WordPress.

But still, I am receiving Missed Schedule Error…
I don’t want to use any kind of plugins, so keep this in mind.

Thank you

Hello, my hosting company says there is some sort of “autoload” option on “td_011_settings from td-composer plugin” that is eating up big server resources:

<< There is an autoload option td_011_settings from td-composer plugin that could be look at by your developers and pruned if possible for all sites. it is quite large and really should be looked into by the plugin developers. Every time a request hits WordPress it must load all autoload options to memory and that option is by far the largest in both sites. >>

Does anyone know what this is, and is this something I can disable myself somehow, to improve performance?

Hi there, I am having similar issues. When using the text with title element the edit content feature cannot load. It shows a loading icon (circle) in a blank gray box with the WP Editor text at the top.

I have cleared the cache, made sure WordPress and all of my plugins are updated and tried the WP editor in a incognito google chrome browser. I have looked into the memory and processing speed with godaddy.com. Everything is normal.

Any suggestions would be great! I am not able to edit any content on my pages that are using the text with title element. It seems that the rest of the website elements and features are working properly.

I attempted to find my previous post with the same title but it doesn’t appear to be archived, so… here we go again.
I am using a child-theme of Newspaper
I do not have any alterations to the theme. I use the child theme merely as a good practices measure.
Newspaper theme is set to auto update.

Every time a new version updates the tag-div plugins uninstall and a majority of previous set settings in the theme panel revert to the defaults, such as logos, template thumbnail sizes, choice of headers, and more that I cannot remember but, I’ll make a list as I now have to once again go into the theme panel and change them.

Also I have to reactivate the theme with my purchase code every update as well.

I find this highly annoying, time-consuming and generally a pain in the ass.

Here is a printout of the WPeMatico status report of the current setup, including server information, plug-ins, etc…

tagDiv Staff

Hi,

It could be a low wp-memory issue, but it could also be something else perhaps. I suggest increasing the wp-memory, it can be done like this in the wp-config file
https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/
It will require using a file manager, like the one from cPanel, or FTP.

If that does not solve the problem, I suggest sending us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and there please provide a link to the respective website, admin login, also access to cPanel or similar. We will take a look.

Thank you!
