There is no option to have a different logo when you have a sticky menu. It seems you are using almost the same colors for the logo and the header menu background. Hi Guys,
I’ve successfully used the customisations you’ve provided above for a custom mobile menu. However, after updating to 7.7.1 it no longer works.
I have checked both menu-mobile.php and td_menu.php to see if there were any coding differences, but they seem the same as in previous versions of Newspaper.
Can you let me know if there are any other files which might now be interfering in this code working correctly? To be clear, I already updated both menu-mobile.php and td_menu.php to the modified code and added it to 7.7.1 before I uploaded it to my site.
Would welcome any input you might have. Thanks in advance 🙂

I have problems with the performance and also mobile view.
The mobile view is trouble because if you open this link on a mobile device http://astrologjalemuratoglu.com/danismanlik/ you can see that the mobile view doesnt show the site except a menu point. I can`t avoid this and have this also on some pages as well.
About the site performance ; it opens very slow. is it a problem from my side our can i adjust anything on the theme ?

I’m having trouble figuring out how to remove social icons from the mobile responsive menu. I can remove them from the main menu but they still appear in the responsive menu.

The sticky menu is separate from the main menu. It will not work in it;s current form on the sticky menu.

Thanks for the reply, but its the usual and the same as you have always been saying
Firstly your menu as issues, that’s for sure it just takes extra time to load… even on your demo when you look at it on mobile
Also as mentioned we went above and beyoind, getting cdn, optimization imagify… even found out that your lazy load was not true lazy load
bottom line, my annoyance is we spent all this time and we were ok before , we thought your team will just do better but it did badly, and now we changed for the mobile and guess what stats started changing almost immediatley, can’t be a coincidence, the data just shows it all… I show you alexa, but I seee more in analytics and adsense too how we jumped advert per click.. a lot was affected and even if what you say makes sense on paper, the reality says otherwise
Anyway, I will surly contact you for a refund as I’m looking for a main switch for the desktop… months were wasted unfortunately and I was just hoping you will say.. we will look into it, or maybe even consider it and then will have some hope you are at least trying, unfortunately its the same old…. good luck guys

There is no theme option to display the top menu on mobile at the moment. You could however try this custom code, enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css->Advanced Css – https://www.screencast.com/t/CUAGr6oBeD

I am wanting to display the Top Header Menu on the mobile version of the theme but i don’t see where i can do this. Is this even possible to do? If not, could you guys try making that an option for the next theme update? thanks for the help!
Hi, just purchased the Newspaper theme a few days ago…everything looks good, but I have a question about the Mobile Menu Header. I’ve noticed that it blends in with the footer as both are the same color. Is there some custom code that I could enter that would put a shadow under it like it does when you choose the default header style. I recently got e-mail from Google search console saying that my site is not secure and that Chrome version 56 and later will mark my pages as “non secure” and that i need to use https to solve the problem.
Ok, i am not selling anything, i dont have e-mail subscription, no other users are allowed to sign up (from wordpress backend) just me (admin). How come there is a problem?
You can see my site at diyetpro.com, i dont use the top bar so there is no signup link, but in the mobile version i see that when menu link is clicked there is signup link, maybe this is creating a problem?

As you know I have been posting here requesting for help based on our experience.
The most common feedback we got has always been…. disable all plugins except the ones supported etc…
Before we we changed to this theme, we know our stats and how we were performing, just switching to the theme we started noticing so much drop in traffic, engagement and a lot
We went above and beyond getting cdn, imagify optimizing, cloud flare, https and so many things we have never even done for years and still results were not exciting, we were either dropping or stagnant
our trafffover 80% mobile, and noticed the menu of newspaper theme was one of the biggest issues for us , especially that our audience are in a slow internet country…. the menu is so heavy, takes ages to pull up and people just get fed up…
We asked for help and they seem to say all is fine, disable plugins etc…
So we went ahead and did a big test, and overwrote the mobile site with something faster, menu loads immediately, page is loading fast and immediatly we started seeing a rise and positive results.
easiest way to see is our alexa. you will see how we started falling and now how we are rising all from this change
Now I love this theme, but I am posting this as a public advice for this team to get up their ass … excuse my language, wake up and smell the roses guys… it’s not all rosey with this theme.
The theme we were using was not fancy and a lot weaker, but it was stable,
These data is not something to ignore.

When i want to change size of font in mobile menu in theme options, it is doesn’t works. I change the size in options, but nothing happens.

Thanks for reply! we’ve been trying to solve the topic but still we don’t know how to do it.
We are almost done with our blog and honestly until now we are super satisfied with the newspaper… but now we are facing a crucial issue as our customers will be lost when navigating!
There’s really no way to have a proper language switcher in the mobile menu?
Another idea that we got is to cancel the mobile menu and to implement the language switcher in the footer but its not working neither!
Let’s say that we cancel de mobile menu and we try to manage with the footer… any ideas about how to implement the language switcher?

I’m not sure what happened after updating NewsMag to v3.3.1
Both the mobile menu and the desktop menu are appearing on the site.

I tried to change the mobile menu bar color from black to yellow, but it seems none of the changes I have made affect the mobile menu color. It color remains black.
I did explored the Theme Colors > Mobile and Mobile Theme > Theme Colors.

My question was if the problem of alignment of voices in the mobile footer’s menù and the size of the footer’s title are possible to fix (obviously if these are problem of your competence because are theme’s setting and not of wordpress). Thanks

1) We did not add any extra controls to remove the login on the responsive version because usually people who require a login require it both on mobile and desktop. Th login can be removed for both from the header section: https://www.screencast.com/t/Hlj9LTNui
If you want to remove the login for mobile devices only you can add this code in the theme panel-> custom css box.

In mobile it does not look good. Shortcodes appear. I do not know if the problem is with the Visual Composer plugin or the Mobile Theme tagDiv.
The menu and footer will work fine but everything that comes from Visual Composer does not work.
