Hello ns85gs,
Using theme settings, please notice that you can only move the footer menu to be in place of the top bar menu, switching from Theme panel, as I can pointed you above -> http://screencast.com/t/4XXknJ3g6rLf ->for mobile version. If is not what you mean and if you want to implement another way, please notice that we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
You can add icons in the sub-menus using font awesome and adding them in the font title like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-7-mega-menu-icons-not-showing-in-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hi,
I wonder what causes main menu being misplaced like this?
http://www.screencast.com/t/B6WRyMhBlv27
I use sumome smartbar and share button.Is the theme not compatible with them?
The problem also persists on mobile. The main menu hides the page title.
thanks
Hi,
thanks for the suggestion.
I already adjusted my firefox with simple addon Go Mobile
All that I need now is to click 1 button.
Resolution issues with logo in mobile phones vertical view is fixed (at least for my logo) with this css
.td-main-menu-logo img {
max-height: 47px;
Now only the image optimization problem persist. Not that its critical, but google score is terrible, and it is very important how Google sees your page.
Thank you
yes, I had this problem but solved.
You should install tagDiv Mobile Theme. Newspaper menu > plugins > and install tagDiv Mobile Theme!
You can use Chrome to test the mobile website, just click CTRL+SHIFT+I to open the Inspect window and use the second item on the menu: “toggle device mode”.
Hi,
I have couple of questions about the new mobile theme.
1. How can I manage the home page and decide what to show? For now there are top featured articles and the latest articles. I want to put there blocks with different sorting options and categories or change them on the existing. In the top grid for example to show not only featured but what I specify.
2. Where I can put the code for Page-level ads?
3. Can I use widgets on mobile theme?
4. How to hide go to top button?
5. How can I show the footer menu?
6. Is it possible to hide the footer and leave only the footer menu?
7. Can I manage the font on mobile menu.
8. How can I hide the page views? Is the custom code different?
9. May I display and blocks from sidebar on article page?
10. Is the modal image removed by choice or for speed optimization? If it’s removed by choice can I turn it on?
Hi,
mobile theme does not optimize images. Google page-speed insights reports that all images are not optimized,
http://prntscr.com/b3vefn
The score impact comes directly from images, otherwise works great.
Any suggestions?
Also, it would be great if somehow we would be able to inspect and check this mobile theme directly in desktop browser. (I use firebug)
That way we would be able to test and do some css changes to ‘custom css’ which is included in mobile theme options.
Any suggestions?
Also the logo is going over (under) mobile menu tab, and search icon.
Mobile menu background has a delay.
Thank you
I am having an issue after the update that the mobile menu and the web menu are duplicating on the page:
You can see here that it is printing 2 top menus one for each style.
Hi Catalin, I couldn’t explain my thoughts exactly.
Forget about it. I did it on my own.
I cut this code from mobile/footer.php and I pasted it to mobile/header.php
<div class="td-sub-footer-menu">
<?php
td_wp_nav_menu(array(
'theme_location' => 'footer-menu-mobile',
'menu_class'=> 'td-subfooter-menu',
'fallback_cb' => 'td_wp_footer_menu'
));
//if no menu
function td_wp_footer_menu() {
//do nothing?
}
?>
</div>
And I modified “td-sub-footer-menu” tag on mobile/style.css
You can check it on my site.
Thank you, no problem at all. I just wanted to clarify how the mobile theme worked, and that it was a very different experience for end users than the standard theme. I have tested it and it is quite a bit faster, so there is still the possibility of using it without the navigation and categories that I use now, and with a different navigation menu, but there’s always the possibility that a user will get sent to one of the pages that exist and see a blank screen.
Hi,
where I should insert the code to make facebook like button appear and while pressed to like the page? I want it to appear on top bar on desktop and on the line with icons on mobile menu if possible.
Thank you!
Ok, take a look at this screenshot http://house-language.me/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Untitled.png
If you click in that area it will show up the mobile menu.
Oh no, I could not tell you exactly.
I can enable top menu on responsive mobile theme, but you removed it on new mobile theme. Now we can set mobile main menu and mobile footer menu from the theme panel.
For example I select “X menu” as main menu and “Y menu” as footer menu. I want to show “y menu” in the top of site logo (like to top menu).
Can I MOVE footer menu to the top of site’s logo?
Hello webcrit,
Please notice that if you want to display your Top menu for your mobile theme, it is not possible because the top bar container was removed to mobile theme layout. So, in other cases, it should appear as properly. Try to clear all your caches and test it again.
If you problem is still there and if you need further assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello cristiandark,
I have checked our black version demo view theme and I did not saw any issues through it. What do you mean exactly? The main menu is the same in the normal and mobile theme…where is the problem?
Thank you for your message!
Example: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_black/
If you click on the top left it shows up mobile menu. Please fix it.
Hi,
Unfortunately for the mobile theme there is no top menu. There can be only the main header menu and the footer menu that can be added here: http://screencast.com/t/HsqWFK5t
If these menus do not show up at all, please provide a link so we can inspect this issue.
Thanks.
I first thought I was a bug with the mobile plugin in version 7, but apparently others are actually seeing their menus using the mobile plugin. No matter what I do menus do not show up. I’ve tried enabling the standard Main menu in the mobile settings, created a new Mobile Top menu and nothing works. No matter what, Menues (both top and footer) won’t show up. Also login is not showing even if it has been enabled in settings. any idea to why?
I updated using the using the Envato Toolkit on my localhost version of the site and then used subversion to mirror changes to the server production site.
Thanks for reply. I’m understand it is not possible.
Can I move footer menu to header on mobile theme?
Hello ns85gs,
Please notice that the top-bar menu is hidden for mobile responsive version and with a bit of CSS you can enable it but please notice that on mobile theme version the top bar menu is definitely removed and you cannot be called with CSS custom code.
Thank you for your understanding!
I tried many different browsers, cant change colors for mobile menu as this “cringle” doesnt fades away… Solution? Site: karriere-einsichten.de
Hello,
1) The issues you are facing are not issues at all. It’s just the way the mobile theme displays content. The mobile theme will not show content created for the desktop version. It will however display the latest articles if you have them set on that particular page. If you plan on using the mobile theme plugin, you will have to create a mobile version of your pages without the use of visual composer, just by using the mobile editor (the second mce editor now available in the page edit)
2)The subscription can be made through the theme login option in the mobile menu. Unfortunately the theme has no alternative subscription method. You can try to add the widget from the sidebar inside the page content in the mobile editor. I see you use the mailchimp subscription for the newsletter, so maybe mailchimp allows you to add a subscription form inside the mce editor.
Thank you!
Hello John,
First of all, please ensure that you have set it your main menu and footer menu for the mobile section, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/yxCv2dMcNTN Also, please ensure that your Sign in/Join is also enabled from your panel.
If is not what you mean, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer.
Thanks.
I understand that the mobile theme is supposed to be fast, but my entire site has a menu structure and navigation. I use pages for the main categories, and have crafted each of those pages to show specific content in particular ways.
How can I do this with the mobile theme? From what I can tell, it only displays the latest on the home page, and on other pages it is blank. I can’t use “Featured” because there are multiple choices.
Can I use short links or codes in the mobile theme box on particular pages to have them show a grid of articles from a particular category?
Or is the only option to use a new menu system just for mobile and point at category listings somehow that way? Or eliminate the menus altogether?
