The “hamburger” menu on my site doesn’t work. Whenever I, or someone else, clicks te button, nothing happends.

I have a problem with mobile logo:
I have set my header style as Style 1. No designated mobile logo. At the moment in mobile (iPhone 4S) my logo and menu icons are on top of each other = in mobile it’s not possible to use the main menu.

Which is the right resolution for the logo if “Style 8 – logo + menu on one line” is used?
If you look at http://festivalisten.de it just doesn’t feel ok with the standard settings 300x100px. That is especially true if i use the smart menu which is active right now.

1. An option for changing the footer text color hasn’t been added there due to the variety of the content you can add there. You can change the text color for module/blocks from panel and you can use custom css for the elements you want to change color of and don’t have an option.
2. That is not an issue as the widgets title are different from the blocks titles and were designed that way. You can also alter that space via custom css and adjust it as you like.

5. I will add this on our feature requests list, however we have almost 200 feature requests and we have to pick very carefully what we implement, thanks for the suggestion though, we will consider it.

In your documentation (http://import.tagdiv.com/newspaper/doc/) is pointed out a theme customizer with a sub menu called “Theme settings”.
I need this to switch on “mobile responsive”… as my website is messed up when i open it at my mobile device. But unfortunately my “menu” seems to be more limited than the menu in the example!

I am very happy with the theme, but there a few things that should be better. I hope you solve/add these things in a future update…
For example:
1. There is a way to change the background color of the footer, but there is no way to change the text color like in the sub-footer:
2. When I am using menu’s in the footer, the top margin of the menu title is not equal to the top margin of other module titles:

Hey guys, so I checked the forums here and I see there was some write up about how to integrate UberMenu with the Newspaper theme, however after following the stuff posted here and on the sevenspark knowledgeable, I realize it doesn’t exactly work for Newsmag theme. Maybe it works great for newspaper but not for newsmag at all.
What I need to know is, where do I find the appropriate menu tags to be able to replace them with the ones for ubermenu? I only want to change the menu that is seen on desktop and tablets. (The mobile off canvas menu is perfect so I don’t want to change that). I see that if we register a new location we can basically have it set for desktop?
So what’s the menu call function for the desktops in Newsmag and for the mobile one? Hope I made some sort of sense, since I am no programmer by any means.

i have seen in theme sample pages , on clicking the image , the same image opens in a nice frame and on clicking the next button on the frame the post in the background scrolls up or down automatically. how to do that ?

Can we make the menu go into the collapsed mode earlier or make some items disappear to avoid this issue ?

I think you need to remove the @media queries from the style.css … since this is a “responsive” theme, it’s designed to work on desktop, tablet, and phone. Removing the @media queries would basically stop the other sizes from loading. You’d likely want to then also trim out the menu elements designed for mobile devices from the header file(s).
Not “easy” but you could do it if you wish to “hack” the theme for that.
My mobile menu button doesnt work on my mobile site whenever I try to click on it it doesnt bring up the mobile menu can you please help me with this issue?

I have checked your site and haven’t been able to find a reason for the delay on loading the mega menu items and I haven’t found any errors in your console also: http://screencast.com/t/NpJFBILGwtuY
Please try to check this without any other plugins active, empty cache and also purge files if you use any CDN host services and let me know as I believe the images issue from mobiles could also be caused by this.
Unfortunately I can’t recommend you any plugin and also guarantee it will work as we haven’t made tests with plugins of this type.

Is it actually not an image at all, and part of a Font?

hello, thank you for this beautiful theme.
i have 3 issues
1) after your recent update the megamenu takes a lot of time to load each subcategory, before the update everything was fine, generally wherever ajax is used it takes a lot of time to load
2)the big slider on top of the homepage (i use homepage- bg- no article list template) is not responsive in mobile devices, images are not responsive
3)is there anyway to create a smart list function in posts like the one you use in newsmag, i am going to buy newsmag but i would like to keep newspaper as well.

several issues when I open the page from mobile device – in this case it was Android.
-> it looks like social icons for sharing are not displayed correctly. Also the arrow (bottom right corner) is not being displayed – just the square. Logo at the top seems not correctly aligned.
-> as above the scroll to top icon is not being displayed. This actually is not on only those 2 pages, but everywhere.
-> google adsense ad seems to be cut from above – the top border line of the banner is missing.
-> please recommend WordPress plugins or codes to fix those things. Can you also recommend a Image Optimizer Plugin for WP? Please note that I have installed W3 Cache Plugin, which actually solves some of the issues and score goes up but the site is not functioning properly – javascript problems, the menu stops showing, the search bar is not working and the sliders are broken when that plugin is activated.
-> please recommend how to fix those things on mobile as well
