Hello,
What you have here is not a mobile theme; the mobile theme doesn’t have a different link -> https://i.imgur.com/LOuXJt2.png
Thank you!
Hello,
If the Mobile theme and AMP are ON, you can’t customize the pages with tagdiv Composer, only using that option from the Mobile theme.
You can disable the mobile theme and amp for pages as you can see in the documentation -> https://i.imgur.com/dWy70Yg.png, but this version will not be AMP.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please provide the link to your website.
Also, please check our documentation about amp and mobile theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Thank you! Do you have please some tutorials on how works amp and mobile theme?
I am having a similar issue. We updated our website with this new theme. It looks great on the desktop but it is not loading properly for mobile nor does it even look the same. I need this to be resolved. Thanks
Let me ask it again, so i am not missing any thing here (considering mobile theme and AMP is ON)
for mobile, i cant use any customize home page, all i have to get sattelled with the mobile theme option whatever it has to offer ? in > theme panel > Mobile theme.
even cloud template (for mobile) can’t be used with mobile theme and AMP ON ?
let me know if you get it correctly, and advise.
Thanks
So I did remove the generated CSS and that solved the background image issue. However, the mobile theme is still showing.
Hello @opes!
You can not use it with cloud templates because there is a conflict. You should use the AMP with the Mobile theme.
Thank you!
Hello @vangeorgo!
If the page was created with TagDiv Composer, the same content cannot be displayed on the mobile theme layout.
You can add only simple content for the mobile theme in the Mobile Editor section while you edit the page with Gutenberg: https://prnt.sc/o3wAcxYVV59H
Thank you!
so if i want to use the responsive version, i need to deactivate mobile theme plugin, is that correct ?
and if i am deactivating mobile theme plugin, i cant use AMP, is that correct ?
how to deal with it ? i want to use the same home page for mobile that we imported from cloud for big screens, and yet want to use AMP.
please advise.
Hello thank you for your answer. I am happy with Mobile Theme plugin for posts and homepage etc. just need to find a solution how to create pages with content.
In the example you can see that on desktop the page has content, but no content on mobile devices
Hello @vangeorgo!
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hello,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Better deactivate the mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hello, I have a problem on my site, when I create new page and edit it with TagDiv editor, the page is empty when opened on mobile with Mobile Theme plugin. I even created “mobile” version of every page that doesn’t work but it has not help.
Here is an example of such a page: https://svetapple.sk/redakcia/
Thank you!
Greeetings!
For some time now and randomly our users have been observing problems in the interface of the website https://figurasdeaccionz.com/
Sometimes and inexplicably the coronavirus template appears instead of the gossip template when they browse the site and select a post.
I have checked if the Coronavirus template is installed but it does not appear anywhere, however it continues to be displayed and sometimes it takes control of the entire website, not just some posts.
This only happens with the desktop version of the website, not with the mobile version.
Screen captures:
With the error

without the error
https://postimg.cc/G4kYtmBg
I have a very odd problem which I will try to explain via screenshots.
I have a wrapper ad set for the background image. It is showing up on all post pages but NOT the homepage.
However, when I go to TagDiv composer to edit the homepage it DOES show up
And even more oddly, it shows up when I preview the mobile theme – which renders as the desktop homepage.
And yet when I load the homepage while logged in, it seems to be showing the MOBILE home page.
My site is http://www.comicsbeat.com. I’m totally baffled by this issue.
Thanks!
Every time I save a post or page I get a Fatal related to the td-composer.
I do have Elementor installed (free version).
The error is only seen on mobile devices. It breaks the page (breaks mean that the page still loads on mobile, but it is all messed up).
The error goes away after 30 minutes or so. But will be present again when I save another post or page.
Here is what the error looks like:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘td_css_res_compiler’ not found in /home/rootname/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php:171 Stack trace: #0 /home/rootname/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_composer_block.php(133): vc_row->get_custom_css() #1 /home/rootname/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php(324): tdc_composer_block->get_block_css(NULL, false) #2 /home/rootname/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_global_blocks.php(28): vc_row->render(Array, ‘[vc_column][/vc…’) #3 /home/rootname/public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php(355): td_global_blocks::proxy_function(”, ‘[vc_column][/vc…’, ‘vc_row’) #4 [internal function]: do_shortcode_tag(Array) #5 /home/rootname/public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php(227): preg_replace_callback(‘/\\[(\\[?)(vc_row…’, ‘do_shortcode_ta…’, ‘[vc_row][vc_col…’) #6 /home/rootname/public_html/wp-content/plugins/elementor/includes/widgets/shortcode.php(130): do_shortcode(‘[ in /home/rootname/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/shortcodes/vc_row.php on line 171
There has been a critical error on this website.
I´d appreciate to resolve this problemm
How can i convert the front page (downloaded from cloud template) as out mobile theme page ?
Hello @Ozgur!
Unfortunately, there is no option for the mobile theme to add an SVG logo in the header.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello,
I’m using mobile theme and could not find any setting to use an SVG logo in the mobile team header. It either shows the “Newspaper” text & tagline or it shows the png/jpg logo you upload.
Can we use svg logos in the mobile theme?
Thanks,
Ozgur
Hello @lbaddhan!
Disable the lazy load animation from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/O5pfqQdb and it will increase also the speed of your pages.
There are a lot of factors which can make your site slow. Make sure you use only some templates and fewer functionalities and options.
Some factors which you need to take into account are:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin or not, if you are using the PRO demo or a standard one.
Some starting points to improve your website page speed are here:

Please check the tutorials from those platforms, GT metrix and Google Pagespeed Insights, and I’m sure you can increase the page speed.
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Thank you for understanding!
Hello,
You can use AMP, but we offer support for the mobile version only with mobile theme + AMP plugin and set for AMP -> https://imgur.com/1kMs1ds
These are the options for the AMP: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
If you use our theme and AMP that is come with our theme, then you need to have Amp URL “/?amp” and if you have set the redirect mobile to AMP then will be /?amp=1.
Thank you!
Hello, it is quite clear from the description of the problem that Mobile theme plugin is used.
I have the same problem. Additionally I made sure local browser cache was cleared as well as wordpress cache, Cloudflare cache purged and checked with a few different browsers on various devices (mobile, desktop).
yes, mobile theme plugin is activated, i have also gone through the tutorial , everything seems to be in place, but AMP is still not working.
Please advise.
Hello,
Please let me know if you have the mobile theme plugin activated because the AMP works only with this plugin. Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Thank you!
