Hello,
You can manage the social icons for the mobile menu from the Theme Panel -> Social Networks => https://prnt.sc/10112uu
Also, to add the social icons you need to edit with tagDiv Composer, search after social icons and set the link for social platforms https://www.screencast.com/t/kATmr6b3yg
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
thanks Calin
your explication is good but doesn’t help very much for 2 reason (maybe it can help developing some new feature):
1) for a news site there are top news that must appear in the high parte of the page… so the time is not the option to sort the posts and without addressing the main category we can’t put in evidence the main articles
2) mobile editor is good but can’t be used in the home page of the mobile theme… we need some more customization ther to add extra important content
thanks
Hello!
AMP use the functions from Mobile Theme: wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/amp/functions.php, also check here: \wp-content\plugins\td-composer\mobile\functions.php
But, please note that any change you make in the files after update will be overwritten and you have to make the changes again. Better save the code somewhere and then apply it again after update.
Hope that helps you somehow!
Thank you!
thanks

Hi paologalli, for the moment when you are using the mobile theme plugin the extra content can be added only in mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/KT2bwFh.png also the grids can be filtered and sorted using those options -> https://i.imgur.com/5FDfo72.png to make sure that the for from grid are not repeating in latest section you can let the category to filter all posts and sort it after latest after that in latest section set an offset (the number of grids) and then the posts will no longer repeat -> https://i.imgur.com/dFsjwyD.png
I hope this will help you!
Hello,
Is there a way to use two different templates for mobile and desktop users for a specific category.
Right now when you go to the theme panel —> Categories —> Per category settings, you can select a ‘Post Cloud Library Template’, however, this template is the same for both desktop and mobile users.
Is it possible to have two ‘Post Cloud Library Templates’, one for desktop and another for mobile users? Currently, the ‘Single’ post templates allows you to adjust CSS settings and the layout for mobile users, however, it doesn’t allow you to remove elements and make them desktop only. If you have an element e.g. ‘Flex Block 1’ you can’t remove it from mobile, while keeping it on desktop for the same template.
I also understand that the mobile theme is available, however, it uses the same post template for all categories, which is limited in terms of customisability.
Let me know your thoughts,
Thank you
Hello
The site in its mobile version throws me the following error (but not in the desktop version), someone to help me please!
wp_booster error:

/home/u178526746/domains/lgcba.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_api.php
wp_booster error:

I already deactivated all the plugin package of the theme (newspaper) and I have reinstalled them, but it did not solve the problem
Thanks
I am trying to edit my home page but when I Edit with TD Composer it gets stuck on a spinning circle indefinitely. I have disabled all plugins except the Tagdiv plugins (Composer, Cloud, Mobile). Tried on several different browsers after clearing cache with no luck. Need some help.
I have also met all the theme requirements.
I use namecheap hosting.
Please is newspaper them not compatible with namecheap hosting?
Haven’t used the composer to edit any page it keeps loading till infinite
I know that the aim of the mobile plugin is to provide a light and fast theme for mobile device
anyway could be usefull to have a widget area where to put custom contents, other than normal post
besides, when using the grid elements, post are not filtered and could be duplicated
is there any tips to solve these two issues?
thanks
Hi,
I’m not sure I fully understand your issue.
I understood that you had the mobile theme activated, right?
Usually, this problem is when the mobile theme is displaying on the desktop, then you have a cache conflict, the plugin for the cache that you are using do not recognize the mobile and desktop cache. We recommend using the WP Super Cache plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ for more information.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please let me know what version do you use for mobile.
If you have a mobile page or responsive version edit with tagDiv Composer, and you can delete the elements with a right-click => https://i.imgur.com/CA0Ww5V.png, or selecting the element and with drag & drop place into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page
For mobile theme plugin, you need to use some custom code CSS, please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/i-want-to-remove-the-list-and-searh-button/
Thank you!
Hi,
Those ” https://ibb.co/DQYsGh2 and https://ibb.co/cL20sgT” are from mobile theme plugin and the color can be adjusted from the theme panel > mobile theme > theme colors -> https://i.imgur.com/hbGWx99.png here is our guide for this https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
First, I want to make sure that I was able to inform you of all data about the mobile versions that our theme can have.
1. Responsive version, this is by default when you install the theme and you do not use mobile page or mobile theme plugin.
2. Mobile page/template this allows you to create with tagDiv Composer and cloud a different layout and set different elements for mobile and iPad/tablet and it will overwrite the responsive version.
3. Mobile theme plugin, this is a light theme version for mobile that will overwrite the mobile page and responsive version if enabled.
So when you have a mobile page/template this will be used instead of a responsive version, but if you also have the mobile theme enabled, this one will override both of them.
How to combine them? Yes, this can be possible, for example the mobile page/template will apply only on that page or cloud template that is assigned. But what to do if you want to use a mobile theme plugin too? If you use mobile theme, in Gutenberg editor it is an option to disable the mobile theme in current post/page, if you use the option, then it will be use the mobile page/template (if is assigned) or the responsive version.
So in your case you can disable the mobile theme on the homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/NX57q4t.png or if you do not want it at all, disable the plugin or use it only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/Grlz5Ee.png.
Here is also a video that explains all those -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Also if you use Cloudflare (CDN) please make sure that it is set like in our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Hope this will help you!
1. I want to add my Google Analytics code. What is the best method to install on this theme?
2. from where can I upload the Footer logo? https://articlesenior.com/ i guess, i uploaded the PNG image but it still shows white background in my logo.
3. I want to add 2-3 links in the footer, how to add the page links?
4. I want to remove the social network icons from the website footer and mobile menu. How can i do that?
Hi ctemucin, our theme is using the normal resolutions standards (https://i.imgur.com/lcTld7l.png) unfortunately, there are no options to change/force desktop site on lower display, the only solution will be to create the mobile, iPad/tabled version to be more like desktop version.
Also from 1280×1024 and above the website should be display normally -> https://i.imgur.com/Qgkn8sD.png maybe only if you are using a demo that has rows set over 1200px. Can you please let us know what pre-build website are you using? Or a link to your website.
Thank you!
Hi I have a problem where a mobile theme was created but when the mobile dimensions were edited in the standard TagDiv composer it got rid og the mobile version and now it seems we can only choose one or the other. That is either have the mobile theme show up on desktop or have the mobile dimentions show up from the TagDiv composer and the mobile template deactivated for mobile. Is there any way to have them both running in parralel togeather again. Have tried activating/deactivating the “tagDiv Mobile Theme” and the “Official AMP for WP” plugins but that doesn’t fix the problem.
Hi,
Thank you for the reply – from the images I posted
Which one is the mobile theme?
– This one: https://ibb.co/DQYsGh2 and https://ibb.co/cL20sgT
OR
– This one: https://ibb.co/gmTr1Kv
The home page I have edited with TagDiv composer (https://ibb.co/gmTr1Kv), the Category pages (here:https://ibb.co/DQYsGh2) I used Cloud templates.
How can I get the home page to show the same as the this with this menu and this layout? https://ibb.co/cL20sgT
(I have tried to create a mobile version of the homepage (page with tagdiv composer) but as soon as I do that – the entire site changes to mobile including on the desktop
I have have Cloudflare and I have purged the cache, made no difference.
Thank you for your reply. No, I am not using a mobile theme plugin. For all the pages and Cloud Templates, I have a mobile version page that is adapted to the vertical displays. Whenever I open the site in lower resolution desktop displays, it opens up the mobile version and does not force the desktop one. That is the problem, I want it to force desktop site on lower display desktop resolutions too. Mobile version is only meant for phones.
Hello!
If you use Mobile theme plugin, then you can not edit the pages with TagDiv Composer.
There are no settings to customize the pages.
You have only some settings for this layout, which you can find in Theme panel -> Mobile Theme.
We recommend using the WP Super Cache plugin with this configuration: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure
Clear the cache and it should display well on homepage.
If you can’t manage to configure that menu, then please make a full backup, send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin. Also, paste a link to this topic so we can easily identify you.
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!
Hello!
When you install Mobile Theme plugin or AMP, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
AMP is faster and works better only with the Mobile Theme plugin. The design is looking pretty similar as our plugin.
Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version or AMP.
If you deactivate the plugins, then the pages will automatically load how you’ve set up.
Thank you!

Seems you have the Mobile theme plugin activate

Hello,
I check these posts’ template settings, all settings are followed the panel setting.
I don’t know why I use a mobile phone to visit my website some posts, old posts can work, but these two posts cannot change the website url from https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.boyangu.com/breakingnews/%25E5%2585%25B1%25E5%25AF%258C-%25E9%25A6%25AC%25E5%2585%258B%25E6%2580%259D-%25E4%25B8%25AD%25E5%2585%25B1/%3famp to https://www.boyangu.com/breakingnews/%e5%85%b1%e5%af%8c-%e9%a6%ac%e5%85%8b%e6%80%9d-%e4%b8%ad%e5%85%b1/, and https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.boyangu.com/sc/education/%25E5%25A1%2594%25E5%2588%25A9%25E7%258F%25AD-%25E6%2595%2599%25E8%2581%25AF-%25E4%25B8%25AD%25E5%25AD%25B8/%3famp to https://www.boyangu.com/sc/education/%e5%a1%94%e5%88%a9%e7%8f%ad-%e6%95%99%e8%81%af-%e4%b8%ad%e5%ad%b8/ automatically. However, all Mobile Theme Settings are enabled.
Thank you!
Hi,

It is enable now as it was before. I don’t think it’s about “enable/disable mobile theme”. Because this issue happens automatically. Sometimes mobile theme error occurs out of nowhere.
I think it’s related with the plugin. Sometimes it seems to lose its function.
Everything looks normal now. Probably the same thing will happen again after a while.
Hello, my website SneakerFiles.com is not showing the mobile page I created which is separate from the actual theme I am using.
