Hello again!
Thank you for your reply! I have deleted my cache plugin and the problem is now solved for the PC version. The website looks as it should without me being logged in as an admin.
The problem with the footer still remains. I have created a custom footer from CLoud Templates, using the Week Pro. In the NewsPaper – Theme Panel -> Footer, it is selected this template. If I go to homepage – Edit page -> tagdiv composer -> Manager and I preview the mobile version from there, it looks perfect.
But not from my smartphone. On my smartphone, I see a black background with “Alegerea editorului” (Editor’s pick) and a few articles with broken featured images, “Categorie populara” (Popular category), an empty “Despre Noi” (About Us), which are not supposed to be there at all. And a blank copyright symbol with no text at all. The footer I have created has a light background, recent articles, details next to the copyright symbol and so on.
Hello,
I use the mobile theme plugin. Is there a way to exclude certain pages / URLs from the mobile theme and load the desktop version?
Hello!
Did you try to uninstall the mobile theme and AMP plugin?
I said that the issue with the opt-in builder is a known one, and it will be fixed in the next update. The opt-in builder is already updated; do not worry. That notification is a problem.
Thank you!
Hello there,
I tried all 3 version and none of it worked. Not even the AMP. I tried the mobile version provided by the template and built from scratch a page which is not showing on any mobile device. I talking about “Edit with tagdiv composer” -> “edit mobile page”.
I tried using the Mobile Editor from “Edit Page” as well and the information there is still not showing on the mobile homepage.
And I also tried the AMP. I tried all 3 options provided by AMP. I tried all 3 options provided by Theme Panel -> Mobile. I tried Mobile, Mobile + AMP and just AMP.
None of these worked. Whatever I do, it still shows the blank homepage with “Latest Articles”. I turned off the articles option from Theme Panel too.
The thing is, I already used all the plugins provided by Newspaper theme.
I understand that this isn’t part of the support as it’s part of the services you sell, but I’d still have liked to have some documentation related to the litespeed cache extension.
As for your video on the CSS analyzer, I don’t have it in my menu. Is this normal?
I don’t understand why when I disable the cache, the speed score is so bad. It’s below 70. How can this be? Why is the mobile theme so slow?
thank you
To be clearer, sometimes it’s not the mobile version configured in the newspaper theme that is displayed but the responsive version of the web version. And that’s why I think my score is poor. I can’t get the mobile version I created to load first.
Thank you for your help, I already use litespeedcache, is the plugin you recommend better?
Also, if you go to my site on the mobile version, you’ll see that there’s almost nothing on the home page, which is why I can’t figure out how to fix my DOM problem. Is it a theme problem? The cache?
It seems that when the page loads, the elements are displayed incorrectly. Thanks for your help!
Hello!
We recommend the Wp Super Cache plugin.
There is all about the DOM. Which means you need to have less elements into that container or row, as such on that page. I can suggest you only to take care of how many elements you use on that page. You can try to use a cache plugin or a plugin which can minify the page or combine some elements in order to reduce its size.

Hello!
We have 3 options available for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Unfortunately, AMP is not working with the cloud templates because the AMP’s layout is not fully customized.
The AMP version works best with default templates and not cloud templates. That’s why we integrated it with the Mobile theme plugin.
The feedback from our clients about AMP was negative and it is not used anymore, that’s why we didn’t add more customization options. We no longer recommend using AMP because it is deprecated https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp
This is a known issue and the opt-in builder is fully updated.
Thank you!
Hi,
This is just a notification that doesn’t disappear, but the update has been made. It will be resolved in the next update.
I want to ask if you use elements from Opt-In. After a brief review, it seems that you don’t, but you can deactivate the plugin.
Also, I see that you have the mobile theme plugin, and here the logo is displayed, but if you want to have the responsive version please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport on phone, select the header logo and change it => https://i.imgur.com/cR7F0v4.png https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/ delete the text or svg code and insert your logo.
Thank you!
Hello,
I have 2 problems.
Problem number 1: The Mobile Homepage
I have the website https://www.nialmedia.com/. I use the Newspaper theme. After entering all the details into my website, I went on to the mobile version. In theory, the homepage should be loading properly. In practice, it is a blank page showing “Latest articles”. I have 0 articles because the homepage that I want is not supposed to show any article, as you can see in the desktop version. I already tried all 3 options: Mobile, AMP + Mobile and AMP. Same issue.
Problem number 2: tagDiv Opt-In Builder cannot be updated.
I tried updating it 5 times. I still see the message to update it.
Hello,
Alright, you had a mobile theme enabled and then disabled it, after which you created a mobile page, great. However, to avoid the problem of having the desktop version on the phone, or vice versa, you should use a caching plugin like WP Super Cache or WP Rocket, and enable the mobile cache option. This way, this problem should no longer occur https://i.imgur.com/Mu0hVJe.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Update, after a lot of guessing and fiddling I can now get the site to appear as a mobile theme in Firefox and Microsoft. It does not seem to matter what I do I cannot get the mobile template to render in Google. It always looks like the desktop theme. If anyone in tech support can offer any help it would be appreciated. I will even setup a temp admin program if tech could look into the site and either fix it or show me what I am doing wrong. This is a great theme and I have used it in the past to build out demo sites for customers and then send them back to tagdiv to buy the theme and setup their sites. But after burning 7 days and getting no where I am at a dead end. It should not be this hard to setup a simple site to work on desktops and mobile. Any help appreciated as I am stumped.
Thanks
Anamaria,
Here is what I have accomplished with your advice to date.
First off I was creating my mobile pages in tag div composer so I went into WordPress Plugins and disabled the tagDiv Mobile Theme Plugin. Now when I check my site, getawayopia.com on my phone I now get the desktop version.
In the image attached you can see that I have created a mobile theme that is showing up in the attached image. Yet when I go back to my mobile it will only show the desktop version.
Sorry to sound so stupid but what am I missing?
Thanks,
David Best
My website is getawayopia.com.
I have installed the MAGAZINE PRO and I thought I had setup the Mobile theme for the website.
I check the site through online emulators to see how a website looks in different pc systems, phones and tablets and on those sites it looks fine.
However this morning I used my Samsung Galaxy 23 to check the site and now it appears all messed up again.
I will check your link you provided above to see if it can help.
Sorry for posting a problem but with so much of the web now being used by mobiles that part of the theme needs to work.
Thanks and any additional help is appreciated.

Hi, we have some sites with Newspaper + Moble Theme + AMP and we noticed that, the AMP site on mobile is displaying a blank page, even, we tried changing the mobile setting “Use Mobile Theme for” as follows and got these results:
Mobile:
https://mentalitch.com the site loads fine on desktop, but on mobile displays a blank page
https://mentalitch.com/?amp displays the not-AMP site on desktop, blank page on mobile
Mobile + AMP:
https://mentalitch.com fine on desktop, blank page on mobile
https://mentalitch.com/?amp displays the AMP site on desktop, blank page on mobile
AMP:
https://mentalitch.com the site loads fine on desktop, loads ok on mobile
https://mentalitch.com/?amp displays the AMP site on desktop, blank page on mobile
We already setting up the Mobile Theme and AMP as the tutorials

Is there something else that we have to do? can some one help ust to solve it?

I hope someone can give me a hand.
I installed the Newspaper Default theme and everything worked and looked fine after the install.
I then went in and made some changes as to how I wanted the theme to look. Desktop is fine, but any new items I added to the site are not showing up when I check the site with my mobile phone.
Simple changes I made where to take out and change the Flex Blocks. I deleted the Flex Blocks that came with the demo and replace them with Flex Blocks 3 with just simple title, image and category.
Now all of my changes show up on the desktop view, however when I look at the site in my cell phone none of these Flex Blocks are showing.
What setting am I not finding to enable these Flex Blocks to appear in Mobile?
I am hoping that it is something simple but I have looked for days and cannot find what I am missing.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

I tried it on other systems, browsers, and smartphones. but it works in the browser I am logged in.

Hi @bettina
Where should I expect to find the @font-face for these files:
https://www.total-motorsport.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/images/icons/mobile-theme.eot?16
https://www.total-motorsport.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/images/icons/mobile-theme.woff?16
We’ve had some issues with the mobile version of our site, and whenever I look up the documentation it says that the settings should be adjusted in the “mobile theme settings” in the newspaper theme panel, however there is no option for “mobile theme settings” on my theme panel.

Hello!
Please use the latest update of the theme and plugins.
We’ve discussed here what you can try to exclude or not use: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/admin-ajax-loading-time/
If you do not use default templates and styles, then you can deactivate the Standard Pack plugin.
Read this useful guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/what-is-ajax-preloading/
