Hi,
I checked your website and now you are using the responsive version of theme, not then mobile theme plugin.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
This is our list with tested plugins with our theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cmPkh9jba4sZ
Also now in Newspaper c9.6.1 you have 3 options, one for only mobile, one for mobile and AMP( this option is working only with the AMP that we provide ), and AMP ( this option allow you on which page/post to make AMP, also this option is available only with provided AMP plugin ); if you choose to use others amp plugins -> https://www.screencast.com/t/klPekGTzwi0F -> https://www.screencast.com/t/EjRDB03fp
How to Make an AMP Ready Website with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
You can deactivate the AMP on those pages/post were you get the google errors.
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes those are usually the icons for social media, arrows, stars, user … a part of theme can be found in wp-content/themes/Newspaper/mobile/includes/less_files/font-icons.less also you can find those in wp-content/themes/Newspaper/font-newspaper.css
You can also check How to add an icon in menu -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-add-icons-in-menu/
Or if you want to set with tagDiv Composer some icons in a page -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6ZKtcsVkzhlf
Thank you!

Hi,
Please make sure that you have set the code for AMP Analytics in Newspaper>theme panel>mobile them> amp analytics -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Also please check this similar topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/is-my-amp-analytics-code-implemented-correctly/
Thank you!
Dear Team,
We have been using your Theme for a period of time. Thanks for your great work.
However, there is an issue. When we deactivate the Mobile Theme and we visit our website, the Adsense ads are not centered. Some ads are aligned to the left. You may have a look on our website and you will understand what we are talking about. In Theme settings, all ads are set to “auto size”. Also, Auto Ads for Adsense is turned on too.

Please kindly assist. Thank you very much.
Regards,
Francis
Hi,
I think that you are referring to this notice ; this notice apper eaven if you edit/update the page from backed, but this is just a notice, is not an error; you can edit the page/template, you do not need to create a new one.
Unfortunately for mobile theme in order to get a good speed you can not use the builders, only the classic editor from mobile editor -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
You can set 3 blocks, for those you’ll need to have set seam feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
The settings from theme panel are general settings, are applying for almost all elements ( but not for those from tagDiv Cloud Library ), also with tagDiv Composer you can set individual settings fro each element from your page/template ( those will override the settings from theme panel for those elements on which are apply ).
If you are using a header from tagDiv Cloud Library and you want to change the sticky type -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dDpQyrh36
If you are not using a header from Cloud please check those options -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7FwjpUHrdw
If you are using the mobile theme the menu will be sticky.
Also you can choose to use the responsive mobile version of theme, this will have a low speed but will have the desktop layout.
Thank you!
There should be an easier way of removing footer logo in mobile theme. Right now if you remove logo from footer section of the theme panel, it will just display the main logo, or alt text. Right now just comment out this whole blob in mobile/footer[-amp].php
//$td_footer_logo = td_util::get_option('tds_footer_logo_upload');
//$td_footer_retina_logo = td_util::get_option('tds_footer_retina_logo_upload');
//$td_top_logo = td_util::get_option('tds_logo_upload');
//$td_top_retina_logo = td_util::get_option('tds_logo_upload_r');
//$td_footer_text = td_util::parse_footer_texts(td_util::get_option('tds_footer_text'));
//$td_footer_email = td_util::get_option('tds_footer_email');
// read alt and title for the logo
//$td_logo_alt = td_util::get_option('tds_logo_alt');
//$td_footer_logo_alt = td_util::get_option('tds_footer_logo_alt');
//$td_logo_title = td_util::get_option('tds_logo_title');
//$td_footer_logo_title = td_util::get_option('tds_footer_logo_title');
// if there's no footer logo alt set use the alt from the header logo
//if (empty($td_footer_logo_alt)) {
// $td_footer_logo_alt = $td_logo_alt;
//}
// if there's no footer logo title set use the title from the header logo
//if (empty($td_footer_logo_title)) {
// $td_footer_logo_title = $td_logo_title;
//}
This is not very pretty: in ./Newspaper/mobile/footer.php this line:
$buffy .= '<div class="block-title"><span>' . __td('ABOUT US', TD_THEME_NAME) . '</span></div>';
Get rid of it.
Also, I don’t want to use tagdiv mobile theme because it replaces all the builder files. Is there any way to use the mobile theme plugin keeping the existing mobile theme design?
Updated to 9.6.1. Then I installed tagdiv mobile themes but getting huge CSS issue:-https://www.screencast.com/t/LmwRpYj5
Please bring the amp plugin back for non-mobile theme users
I would happily pay for it separately – other plugins on .org are all faulty in some way or not flexible enough
I’m sure you would make everyone very happy!!
Update to 9.6.1. Activate the mobile theme plugin. Go to Theme Panel > Mobile Theme. Where it says “Use Mobile Theme For” select ‘AMP’ and save settings.
There is message under AMP plugin in Plugins section,
“The tagDiv Mobile Theme now works best with the AMP plugin to provide a complete solution for your content on mobiles. You can find out more here.”
and it won’t hide or fix.
Please resolve.
how to make the logo appear on the google amp carousel cards and how to make the mobile theme home page be amp. On my site these two functions do not happen. Can someone help me?
I would also like to know if the mobile theme works with the AMP for wp plugin, or only with the official AMP?
The 9.6.1 version of the theme coincides with this AMP plugin.
I don’t use the AMP feature of the theme.
I request the download link in the 9.6.0 version of the theme.
Please do not give advice in the form of use our AMP feature for your solution! Resolve the conflict.
Just a thought. Would it not be easier to work backwards and just make the Newspaper theme responsive better to work on mobile.
It seems like we’re having to do more and more work when I actually bought the theme due to it being responsive so I wouldn’t have to worry about creating a whole other mobile site. As I have a very busy news site using Newspaper, I can’t afford to ‘try’ these new things as they often become buggy. It seems that since Google is pushing ‘Mobile first’ and they’re huge on speedy sites, the developer would go back into the Newspaper theme and make it speedier.
Just a thought on this.
As far as I understand I have to rebuild the pages by using the classic editor (html) but I use TagDiv Composer to built them, and your site says very clear: DO NO USE BOTH COMPOSER AT SAME TIME. Is there any solution? What can I do? are you planning to change the mobile theme to use it with TagDiv Composer?
Hi there again Calin.
I have follow your indications and pretty much everything works on the mobile version of my website except the navigation menu. Could you enlighten me there?? you can check my site http://www.Howpple.com (the mobile theme is on)
Hi!
Easy question:
Im using custom css like this:
@media(max-width:767px){
.td-post-content h2{
font-size:32px!important;
line-height:40px!important
}
}
For custom fonts and sizes in mobile theme. It works in all post and pages (post-content, page-content) but I dont know what is the key for the front page, is the only one that it doesnt work.
Thanks!
I turned off the mobile theme, and the responsive looks great now. Thanks so much for your support!

hi mobile pages work partially. I guess it should be all right. I did everything about AMP settings to be according to our documentation. but it does not work, I do not see CATEGORY, first page news, could see last news
What I see for the mobile menu
Here are the errors I get from google console
It’s strange because now I can’t even navigate my menu on the mobile theme, yet last time I checked I at least could but my main pages were gray. I think only the blog page works but has the mobile menu, not the demon header menu.
Are there known plugins that don’t go well with AMP? Maybe that’s what’s happening.
I can show you the rest of the plugins I have, here’s a peak.
Hi,
I have had problems with the images have disappeared.
I have restored the site from a backup, installed Theme Mobile again, but the problem still continues.
I have deleted and disabled the cache plugin but the problem persists.
What I can do?

Well that’s not all…
5/ Google Analytics doesn’t shows up on AMP page (I put the code in the Mobile Theme settings)
6/ Adsense is not showing either on the AMP page (I also put the code in the mobile Theme settings)…
Realy big mess…
I updated newspaper theme today and now it does not load into amp format anymore
I update the theme and also mobile theme and Official AMP PLUGIN FOR WORDPRESS
I think is something with the new options for the mobiel theme.
Which is the one we have to select to always force the amp format?
