Hi,

You need to check the theme’s core files because the theme does not have any such an option for this and also, we cannot provide additional customizations at the moment, sorry! As a hint, you should use the files from the mobile folder through the theme’s packet if you want to affect the mobile theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/nteeVikMH2. Also, if you are not aware of the steps, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you!

Thanks.

When I click on the hamburger menu at the top right,
rather than collapse and show the menu options, it makes my whole page zoom out a bit…
I then have to click on the home button, and then press on the menu button again, and then it works.
How can I fix this issue?
Thanks

Hello, team tagDiv.

I am using flex block 1 to create a module similar to block 19. For this, I decreased the image width and then changed the layout to float left so that the meta info can float to the left of the image and then provided some padding. The problem is, it looks fine on the desktop but not the mobile phone. So I want to display excerpts on the desktop and hide them on the mobile phone. Is it possible? If no, any alternative?

Hope you reply,
Have a nice day.
Pratiek.

Hi there,

I have an issue with the responsiveness.

I have a full height row picture that is well responsive on desktop (see enclosed picture) but that wouldn’t be responsive on mobile device…

I’ve tried to fix the settings about responsiveness but nothing worked out.

What can I do?

Thanks,

Hi Catalin,

Thanks for your quick response. I have the theme optimized for mobile responsiveness. By activating the mobile plugin, will I be forced to restyle the mobile design or can I only use it for the mobile nav?

Thanks,
Jack

On mobile, I get two rows of the same social media icons on the front page of https://laiglesiadediospanama.com/
I have looked all over in the Theme panel and other places to figure out why, but cant find what I need to disable.

Also, on mobile and on desktop it takes me to the wrong YouTube channel if I hit the YouTube channel icon on the main page. But when I hit the YouTube icon on the top bar (or in the top of the mobile version) it takes me to the right place.

It shows the correct channel for the other social media I have there.
I have placed the # value in the Youtube field under Social Networks / inside the Theme panel, but that doesnt change it.

I switched to another computer to avoid clearing cache on this one, and it opens up under the wrong YouTube channel

Just for your clarification: the following link is indeed the right youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtIRoLxwIwrchIhw9IAK30Q?view_as=subscriber

But for now, I want o use this other one: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFg3Vufu6lQik2PFQrFL8iA

I used another Youtube channel with thousands of subscribers, and still get the wrong one opened up.

Do you know what the problem could be?

Is there a way to change some english text such as “share” (if I activate that option) or “Follow us on Instagram” which is currently active? the site is in spanish. Is not a great deal, but if possible, I would like these to change to spanish. I di notice that the “english” labels on the right side bar can be changed to spanish by going to the widgets section, but there is no widget in the footer area that I can change.

Finally, since I have drafted all the default articles I noticed that the categories under the TagDIV Popular Category widget got a little messed up. I added a new TagDIV Popular Category on the right sidebar and it pulled the same categories like the original TagDIV Popular Category. I am assuming that as I start posting articles, it will automatically change, but, is there a way which categories I want and which ones I don’t want?

Thank you

I have recently performed a Lighthouse Audit on Google Chrome for my mobile site and it failed on a few issues in the Accessibility category. Please see the list below and advise how these can be fixed:

Buttons do not have an accessible name
<i class=”td-icon-search”></i>

Links do not have a discernible name
<i class=”td-icon-close-mobile”></i>
<i class=”td-icon-font td-icon-mobile”></i>
<i class=”td-icon-menu-right”></i>

Hi,

If you use the mobile theme, custom code has to be entered here
https://www.screencast.com/t/lFac6PyQx
You can enter it like this in that case

.form-submit input[type=submit] {
background-color: red;
color: green;
}

Thanks

Hi,

I can assure you that the theme downloaded from themeforest does not contain any malware, if that is what you are referring to. We scan the theme, Envato scans the theme as well.

The theme can only be downloaded from here, which is safe
https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609

I checked one of the websites on mobile, this one
http://elmoncasteller.cat/
I was redirected to an app download page when I clicked on the top header banner, but that would be the ad code used.

The other website I visited is not secure – https://www.screencast.com/t/rmnQGGwm81

Maybe try and scan the website, database etc for malware if there is a problem

Hi,

@designer
From what I can see while testing your website homepage the first problem in the test is with a couple of images
https://www.screencast.com/t/usgJDtxIqI
That image you use in the revolution slider is almost 5Mb which would be a big image to download on an average mobile with an average internet speed for example. I believe that is how Google simulates on mobile.

Maybe also consider using AMP and the mobile theme, to serve faster content for mobile

Hello,

You can use a different menu for mobile if you will use the mobile theme plugin which gave you an option for that. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WWs22bud8wPC

Please read our documentation about The Mobile Theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Hi,

Note that the mobile theme does not use the same template files. The post template for the mobile theme is this one
https://www.screencast.com/t/v7pnZpoma4
So you would have to enter the code there as well, then it should show in the mobile theme.

Thanks

Hello,

First of all regarding question 2: I’m not using the theme mobile , please see the picture and read what I wrote to understand what is my problem.

I gave that CSS code to help NEWSPAPER theme to support RTL in next update, I’m trying to find issues with RTL and fix them. the CSS code has no relationship with my 2nd problem.
