Hi, can you help us out on one small issue: on category page one of the rows only has one article, pushing next articles on to the next row. This creates unneccessary white space in between rows. Problem exists on tables and desktop, mobile is fine.
Hi,
Content for pages when the mobile theme is active, is limited to the Mobile editor
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
However the website should function correctly without the mobile theme plugin, on mobile devices. Please try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins and clear any caching installed, temporarily remove custom code from theme panel, or theme files. Switch to the main theme if you use a child theme.
Then check if the issue is still happening. Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hi!
To make our website as clean and distraction-less as possible, we are looking for a way to use the mobile (hamburger) menu also on the desktop version of our website. Is that a possibility with a few (CSS?) tweaks in de code?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hello llucson,
Please notice that our theme has two ways for displaying the theme for mobile devices -> the first one is General Responsive Mobile and the second one is Mobile Theme with the plugin. So, the General Responsive Mobile Theme will render the same theme’s layout which is displayed on the desktop but in responsive mode. If you will check the CSS theme’s file you will see there that exists such a media queries which gave the theme a special design for mobile.
In the second case, the Mobile Theme using the Mobile plugin, notice that it’s totally different theme’s layout for mobile. Also, for more information about this, please check the next useful guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi
Your theme has just too many features and for some reason my google pagespeed score for mobile remains at 70 or so. I have tried the measures suggested by you for improving that but nothing worked. Mine is a simple blog and I need a fast theme so that I can get some advantage at google rankings. If it is not too much to ask, will it be possible for you to issue a refund for this?
Thanks and regards
Narinder
Hi,
For a better understating please specify what exactly are you trying to do, and what is the problem. And provide a link to your website if possible so we can inspect it.
The mobile theme has an option that allows different menus to be displayed on mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/f4CxoVrLbN2f
More information about the mobile theme plugin here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Please note that content for mobile pages is limited to the Mobile editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/HeyeaLwQ
If you want the same content form desktop to be displayed on mobile devices, deactivate the mobile theme. The plugin is optional.
Thanks
I got two Screenshots. For the navigation point “Wissen” the mega menu is enabled. This works pretty well on the desktop version, I marked it with red.
BUT: On the mobile menu, there are two little arrows to look at the subitems (marked with green). But there are no subitems for the mega Menu “Wissen”. but I need those subitems also at the mega menu, what can i do?
My site is https://coin-hero.de/

Hey Chris, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, nothing worked.
I convinced the client to add the mobile theme, so I solved this part. But if you try to navigate the main menu, you will notice that pages working on desktop seem to be empty on mobile. E.g. https://positiveprescription.com/sessions/
Any suggestion?
Thanks again
Hi,
The theme is not installed at the moment on the website you provided, so we cannot inspect the issue
– https://www.screencast.com/t/U0zpejnjYo
The mobile menus should display the same menu that you have set on desktop, the socials and login/register

Thanks
Usually you would need a plugin that does something like make an animated GIF from field frames from the video. Some websites test this — car websites for example — but they eventually abandon that as impractical and slow on mobile.
Whatsapp links only work on mobile and *if* you have the whatsapp ‘app’ actually installed — that’s how it works; clicking link without having Whatsapp ‘running’ will give broken link error.
Using any link-follower trying to follow that link basically means the link checker is too stupid to recognize whatsapp (kind of like W3C RSS checker that doesn’t understand srcset tags, or https enclosure images).
Presumably one *should* have rel=nofollow tags on those links, and didn’t look to see if they are there or not.

I have a problem. I have created custom code, with .class, for many modules at home. Some of these classes are to increase the title font size. The problem is that from the mobile with the plug-in Tag Div Mobile theme activated, it continues to load those classes and the font size come out disproportionate, for example.
Is there a way for mobile to ignore the custom code classes I have applied to the modules in the desktop/ normal version?
Or:
Is there any option for the mobile to load another alternative homepage that I would create expressly without applying custom code to the modules
The problem only affects the homepage

I need some guidance on what is/is not affected by updating. The help documentation and videos are ambiguous, imo good examples of information being provided by people who already know the answers and find it difficult to put themselves in the mindset of people who don’t. My points may seems obvious to tech people, but are not to me, and judging by the number of post-update-panic-posts in the forums, they are not to many other users too.
For me, upgrading to 8.0 went from the quick and easily hour set aside indicated by the video, to a weekend of my life I will never see again. I want to avoid the same again. By example in your docs it says “Once you activate a different theme, delete the Newspaper theme. Donât worry, your content will not be lost.” The documentation also mentions code. But nowhere does it mention the effect on the hugely important and time consuming settings?
So i would appreciate it if you could clarify which of these headings will be affected by updating (and ideally any steps to be taken post update). I’ve started with the two I think I am clear on …
EFFECT OF UPDATING
Bespoke Code (including, but not necessarily limited to, anything entered into theme panel/custom code and theme panel/mobile theme/custom code): All will be overwritten. Must be copied out and re-applied.
Content (posts and pages): No effect, all will be retained.
Theme Panel Settings (all under header, footer, ads, layout and misc): ??? (if they are affected can the export/import settings tool be used – it states ‘to copy to another server’, and does not specify whether it would work between different theme versions. Is there anything not included in that settings export?
Mobile Theme: ???
Visual and TagDiv Pagebuilder elements used on posts & pages: ???
Demo Theme: ???
Licence key/activation: ???
METHOD OF UPDATING
in the documentation it gives alternative methods of updating, without any indication any are better than others. However i have noticed that in the forum when problems occur it is often stated that people should re-upgrade using the ftp method. does this indicate that the ftp method is more stable/reliable way of updating? I expect many of us will go for what appears the easiest method (wordpress) but if we knew ftp was a better way would jump through the extra hoops to do it that way.
I hope you can see that armed with that information I can see whether the benefits of an upgrade are worth the potential hassle, and also get a better idea of the realistic time it will take.
Thank you.
Hello awoodhams,
I have inspected your website for mobile devices on Chrome and it seems that your top menu bar is centered aligned for any others page.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hey,
Does anyone know how to ensure Google AMP shows our featured video? At the moment, the AMP version of our posts only shows the featured image.
eg. https://battabox.com/nigeria-more-commit-suicide-yoruba-lagos/?amp
We’re running Newspaper theme (obviously!) and AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages plugin.
Thanks,
Christian
Hi there
I can confirm my SEO software detects 121 errors (404s) because of the error indicated above, here is one example “http://whatsapp//send?text=Spanish+pop-up+dinner+at+The+Dobblers+Inn%20-%20http%3A%2F%2Fspanishwineries.co.uk%2Fpop-up-dinner-dobblers-inn%2F” – I tried to use the CSS to remove all reference to WhatsApp, but it doesn’t fix this issue. Can I also remove WhatsApp from the mobile site in the CSS?
Thanks
Thatâs what I see when I click on the mobile menu and search icon on my test page. -> https://prnt.sc/gg7uyr
My test website is: http://version2.cepkolik.com/
How can i fix it?
Note: I try below
***
Tagdiv: This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Hi,
A code like this will remove the socials and login from the mobile menu
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mEvrihEd7g
Enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS section
.td-menu-socials,
.td-menu-login-section {
display: none;
}
Thanks
Hi jobo9968,
Thanks for your suggestion but we have taken this decision because most of our users want to have the Top Bar into the Main Menu bar in mobile mode.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
The mobile theme is sensitive when it comes to caching plugins. Issues can be present in combination with some caching plugins. Try using the WP Super Cache
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thanks
Hi,
@awoodhams, sorry for this but please notice that code which I gave you above it’s possible to need more adjustments for mobile devices. It was just a hint in this case. If you want to adjust your main menu for mobile with this code, you should do it yourself because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
@Jair Prandi, I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of the untested plugins, use only the bundled plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Should work as expected.
Thanks for your understanding!
