Hi Andrei,

I’ve tried this and it still seems to disappear.
I have deleted all caches on WordPress and browser. I have also tested this on different browsers and on mobile and tablet and this issue still appears.

It would be great if you could see what is targeting this behaviour?

Thanks Chris!

@Dustin
,

Unfortunately as you’ve noted we haven’t made any test on this so we’re not aware of this functionality nor it’s implementations requirements so the best you can do is to follow Chris’s instructions on this and its tutorial: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-getting-started-with-accelerated-mobile-pages-amp/

Your implementation requires assistance beyond what our support can offer so for this types of customizations you would have to get in touch with a developer or a freelancer that may help you.

Thank you!

Hello FrancescoITB,

If you want to disable the zoom effect for your mobile mode, please try the code below to do that. place the code in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

The code is ->

@media (max-width:767px){
.td-hover-1 .td-big-grid-post:hover .td-module-thumb .entry-thumb {
transform: none !important;
-webkit-transform: none !important;
-moz-transform: none !important;
}
}

Thank you for the message!

Hello pajura,

Unfortunately, our upgrade does not affect the quality of the thumbs. Please check our changelog and there you can see what improvements contain the update. On the mobile, this is the behaviour of the theme about image. All of these will be zoomed by CSS code and the image could have a lower quality.

Hello Albert,

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to change the design for mobile mode and also, you cannot use the big grid 4 for your mobile mode and the block 18 on your desktop mode. If you want to make additional customizations you have to alter the code from core files and this require custom work. If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware to the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to implement this for you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thank you for your understanding!

I can see your perspective.
But I have poor quality thumbs on the website. I did regenerate the thumbs after upgrade the theme.
On mobile look very poor.
The original images are 16:9 in HD format, so I guess this is not the issue.

How can I fix this issue please?

Hello

I am looking for a block/big grid to display the headline. I have found the block 18 (big picture) which a really like on desktop, but when I see it on mobile, I don´t like how it looks, because there is much blank space around it, according to the next block (block 2).

I have had recently the big grid 4 and I like how it looks on mobile. but I´d prefer just a big headline to show. That´s the reason want to change.

I would like to know if it´s possible to change the responsive display just for this headline, keeping the block 18 desktop display.

Thanks

Hi,

I’m not sure how you implement your videos but you need to try a different method of implementation as the one you use is not responsive. It has a fixed with: http://screencast.com/t/fpnn2u3v so it will display fine in desktop but it will break in tablet and mobile.
As for the block 9, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. This will rule out a plugin conflict. Also if you have any settings on the visual ccomposer row, please reset them to the defaults. You can also recrete it on a blank page and only use block 9 and the slide element. Please male sure top only use these 3 columns https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!

Hi James,

Yes randomly – but with PRO is also adds a ‘weighting’ option if you need it

See westbridgfordwire.com – Header and Leaderboard (under header) ads on the site are embedded AdRotate ‘groups’ with a random rotate applied every 8 seconds – the AdRotate shortcodes are added to the Theme Panel (TagDiv) Ads sections.

Sidebar are a mix of AdRotate ‘single’ and’group’ in AdRotate widgets – the only issue is a ‘jumping’ on mobile, but there’s an easy ‘plugin edit’ from the dashboard that can stop this issue. You may not experience this anyway.

Hello,
Unfortunately we cannot help you in this matter as it is not covered by support. We cannot provide customization services at the moment. We try to help out where we can but your modification requires quite a bit of time to alter the theme css and we cannot tackle such tasks. You will need to edit style.css and remove all the parts of the css that switch to the mobile version of the theme. We recommend hiring a freelancer to help out on this task from sites like studio.envato.com.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hello,
At the moment, our theme uses the same menu for both the mobile and the desktop versions. You can have different menu items with a css trick (without the use of plugins to make the site heavier) to hide specific items for a specific viewport. For example if I want to show a particular menu item on the mobile version but not have it on the desktop/tablet version I would use css like so:
http://screencast.com/t/Imc40ktOxkQ then you can use the advanced css area in the theme panel to hide it on the desktop and tablet version: http://screencast.com/t/6bMol3cjNy
result: http://screencast.com/t/udclPfONn4http://screencast.com/t/c1aMafVY
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hi

I’ve checked your site and on mobile version I found a js error in browser console. This error seems to be related with theme js: http://screencast.com/t/obNbampt4XM and could affect theme functionality.
Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.
Let us know how it goes and if the problem persist please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.

Thanks!

Hello associatedmediacoverage,

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to be disabled the mobile version, sorry! Our layout of the theme is responsive and the theme has been designed to look good on the mobile version. If you want to give up to the mobile theme, practically, you have to re-customize all the design for the theme for mobile devices and this involves custom work. Please notice that it is not a simple task and require to do some additional customization which involves better knowledge for PHP/HTML/CSS for a good implementation and best results. If you want to develop our theme in this regard and if you are not aware to the steps which have to be followed in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

Thank you for your understanding!

Unfortunately not as we have not managed to do any tests in this concern eventually due to the amount of requests and matters present on our todo list or their required solutions. Sorry!
Currently a mobile theme usability is still not tested for newsmag theme. We plan to develop and offer an alternative solution for this however I cannot give you any additional details on this at the moment.

Thank you!

Hi

The css does not apply because you’re targeting the link from block title but there must be targeted the container itself. Try this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css: http://screencast.com/t/VLlF9ImJ76

.td_block_11 .block-title {
margin-left: 0!important;
}

For mobile device you can use it like this: http://screencast.com/t/8pivGh8uyoxB

.td_block_11 .block-title {
margin-left: 0!important;
}
.block-title > span {
padding-left: 10px!important;
}

Let me know hoe it goes and if you need additional information please provide more details so I can get back to you with a more accurate answer.
Thanks!

Hi

The theme has been developed to be fast but it may still need configurations on this matters so test your site using google’s page speed insights testing tool(or gtmetrix) and make sure you follow the guide instructions and methods then test your site again.
First of all deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test your site page-speed again. In terms of speed we have made a page speed guide and covered the most important aspects that google notifies you of (image optimization, js/css render blocking and more..) and based on which it classifies and grades your site’ regarding speed. You can find it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
If you decide to use the speed booster keep in mind that is an optional plugin and it was designed to work only with tested plugins – http://screencast.com/t/FXXDNtqfz in case you use other plugins it will be automatically disabled, so please check System Status – http://screencast.com/t/XAYYQgfRvEC To make it work with other plugins you will have to alter the code and remove/comment this – http://screencast.com/t/RZLIOPUNdqh Also you may find some useful information here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/website-memory-problem/
Regarding your the mobile theme module from Jetpack plugin that was not teed to work with the theme and if it’s enabled it loads a different theme on mobile devices. For more details about this check this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newsmag-broken-on-mobile/

Thanks!

Hi

My site is:

  • http://www.womensgolf.com
  • A couple of hours ago I resolved an issue I was having with images not showing on mobile by turning off LazyLoad animation. The issue I had is described here —

  • https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/images-not-displaying-on-mobile-2/
  • Every since I turned off LazyLoad, the menu and search feature in mobile are not functioning. When you press the icons in mobile nothing happens.

    Actions so far:
    Deactivated all non-tagdiv plugins except Visual Composer.
    Installed WP Super Cache and cleared cache. CDN is not enabled.

    Thanks
    Richard

    No images (apart from the logo in the header and footer) are visible on mobile devices.
    Issue occurs with both iOS and android mobile phones.
    Images display normally on Desktops and Tablets.

    Actions so far
    Deactivated all non-tagdiv plugins except Visual Composer.
    Installed and ran the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin.
    Installed W3 Total Cache and ran ’empty all caches’ and ‘purge CDN completely’.
    Activated previous theme ‘Themify Magazine’ and checked mobile view – working normally
    Reactivated Newsmag theme and checked mobile view – all images (apart from the logo in the header and footer not appearing

    About 40% of our traffic is on mobile devices other than tablets so this is a serious and urgent issue for us

    Thanks,
    Richard

    Hi

    Images (other than Header and footer images) are showing on desktop but not on mobile.

    I am not running a cache and I have deactivated all non-tagdiv plugins. The images were displaying normally until about 14 hours ago and no new plugins have been installed for at least 24 hours.

    Site: http://www.womensgolf.com

    Thanks,
