Hello,

There are a lot of factors which can make your site slow. Make sure you use only some templates and fewer functionalities and options.
Some factors which you need to take into account are:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin or not, if you are using the PRO demo or a standard one.
we can take a look by email at contact@tagdiv.com, please provide the wp-admin access but we cannot guarantee that we can help you 100%, to increase your page speed.
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/

Thank you!

Hi,
We have a one page (ish) configuration on our website (https://t5mad.com) and we use anchor links to navigate to the hp sections.
On mobile, the anchor links from the menu do not work.

Can you help us fix it?
Also, anyway we could just disable the mobile menu and keep it visible the whole time?
Thx in advnace,

I’VE FOUND A BUG !

I know now what is the problem !

Use Mobile Theme+AMP, add 3 adsense amp codes in mobile theme in different locations and boom : Chrome iOS needs double tap to open links.
If you only put 2 ads or less, then there is no problem !
If you ad a third emplacment and only put a “point”, no problem. This is only when there is 3 amp codes !

Well, it’s specific to the Chrome App on iOS and on amp version with mobile theme. Even if cache plugin is disable, we have to double tap to open a link. No problem on mobile theme version.
Tested with Safari, Firefox App for iOS. Only Chrome for iOS with amp do the thing.

it seems it could be the scroll to tht top button.
How can i desactivate it on amp and mobile theme ?

Hi,

– If i use only AMP in mobile theme settings, then there is no cache for AMP version.
– If i use Mobile+AMP, there is cache for both of them but…

I want to place ads by myself on amp version with mobile ads options. So i put amp code for ads and not classic ads for desktop. No problem for amp version, ads are there. But there is absolutely no ads for responsive version on mobile.

If i use only amp in mobile theme settings, then there is ads for amp version and mobile theme version but no cache for amp version…
I don’t want to use auto ads for amps so this is not the solution.

Hello,

My website (www.universocreativo.org) does not show the mobile version (and AMP version) that I have designed, but it shows the design in a different way… I do not know why this happens, since I have created all the mobile templates of all the cloud templates, and I have also created the mobile versions of the pages (attached screenshot). I have also configured the AMP plugin options (attached screenshot) according to your instructions here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/

Maybe they have something to do with the configuration of the “Mobile Theme” options of the Theme panel I have (I attach a screenshot).

To be honest I am quite unhappy with the Newspaper theme… I find the theme administration complex, the learning curve slow and it is making me lose a lot of time (and I have many years of experience designing WordPress websites and I have used many different themes and also different WordPress page builders…)

My website is under development I can provide you with a username and password to access.

Thank you very much in advance for the help because I feel a bit lost and I would like to finish this website as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Carlos

Hi,

how can I add a meta-tag to the header of AMP-pages? Using the mobile theme in conjunction with the official AMP plugin.

Thanks,

Didn’t work!

Please remember that I said this problem is only shown on the article pages of mobile themes and not on the home or custom pages.

Hello,

Please note that you can’t customize the AMP pages with the tagDiv Composer.
You have only some settings for this layout, which you can find in the Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.

Thank you!

Hello,

That code is set in the theme files and can be rewritten using this code, select the port view on the phone, select the content zone and set the margin-left and right to -20 and set this code in width
calc(100% + 40px)

=> https://www.screencast.com/t/Ek89ppzTGldT You can use this method for both (mobile responsive version or mobile page)

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Hello!

This problem occurs only when you use the mobile theme + amp, right? Please provide more information about this issue, so I can check. Also, please provide your website link.

Thank you!

Hello Renato!

1. Yes, if you use the same cloud template for all your categories, then when you modify a category, it will change in all your categories. https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/

2. Because you need to set your mobile version too. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better. Also, you have a sticky header that you need to change. Please follow the video to see where you can find and build your sticky header on mobile and desktop too: https://www.screencast.com/t/l6v2Belt

Thank you!

Ok thanks for your feedback ! I found what was in conflict. We need to use mobile+amp, not amp. This is why there were double ads.

i tested my website under Safari, Firefox and Chrome with mobile theme+amp

Only under chrome, i have to double tap on links or the page won’t load. Like a double clic on desktop.
tested on classic and private navigation, the same. No problem with Safari and Firefox

Hi Bettina,

Thanks again!

1 – But all the category pages shows the same problem, is there a way to change in only one place and fix in all the category pages? We are using the Category templates – Category page template.

2 – Do you know why when the site is seen with mobile the currency bar says “You have not selected any currencies to display”, but on desktop it shows correctly, also the top bar on mobile is totally different from desktop.

Thank you Bettina!

Renato
