Hope this is ok to post here if not admin can delete it if prefered. My site scores 100 in the performance section using LiteSpeed Cache (wich is free) now i have a smal personal site so i also use the QUICKCloud CDN service wich is not too expensive (i put in 10 euros over a year a go and still have 3 euro left) this by itself already will boost your site speed by alot) but i wont dive into all the LiteSpeed Cache options and settings but it is a great free alternative.
So for those not using a expensive cache program like WPRocket that has a setting to preload your fonts but still would likle the benefits you can add a function to the theme’s functions.php file its best adviced to set up and do this on the Newsmag Child theme. This will also remove the font from ther Network dependency tree.
My site scored 100 already before i preloaded the font but it just adds up with all other optimizations so the Newsmag websites can really be blazing fast! DRiFT MAFIA Website
Just open the functions.php file in your prefered texteditor and ad this code at the bottom:
I could nott post the code for some reason probly safety

Hi,
Those are the post settings. Assuming the post settings are active in the options -> https://prnt.sc/K99tK0XTiXrl they must be somewhere in the post edit screen.
Maybe the post settings section is closed at the bottom -> https://prnt.sc/Nabkz9NfkbDa
Or maybe it was moved by mistake in the sidebar on the right -> https://prnt.sc/omg9rOu4Sc1P
Currently there’s no such issue in the theme. Maybe the post settings section is just in a different location in your post edit screen. But in case it’s truly missing, then it’s very unusual. I can take a look at it if you want, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website and admin login. I will check as soon as possible.
In the meantime if you need to use the post settings you could use the classic editor plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
Not sure what’s going on there exactly, but from what I see someone used some CSS to hide all inner rows -> https://prnt.sc/5tRMTnTwUTyP Please check in theme custom CSS in the admin bar -> https://prnt.sc/m8zwDStfW-bV Remove that code from there and the footer and other elements across the website will be visible again. That code isn’t very specific and it will cause a lot of problems.
If there are other issues I suggest reviewing all the custom CSS added there, because the issues may be caused by it.
Rows can be deleted in 3 ways:
1. Click on the row icon -> https://prnt.sc/qprLb8NXj2fJ and drag to the bottom right corner -> https://prnt.sc/YKF8Wh84EBr4
2. Click the row icon and press delete on the keyboard.
3. Right click the row icon and choose delete -> https://prnt.sc/lfJ0bq3LMOqI
Please use either method and delete the rows that you don’t need.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thank you!
Hi,
I think that’s an image box section from our Artist demo https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_artist_pro/
Normally an image info box doesn’t look like that, our designers used a bit of CSS to position the description more to the bottom. If you edit your homepage with the composer, there will be a Raw CSS element here below the boxes https://prnt.sc/QVTAjWZ3jcJK Since this was built a long time ago, sometimes there can be conflicts with modifications we make in the theme in updates.
No worries however, that code can be adjusted to achieve the same look. Please remove it and add the one from here -> https://pastebin.com/11MJ9dm9
The result should be like this https://prnt.sc/e6iF21snjd5s
In case there are any problems let me know.
Thank you!
Hello everyone, the website I’m building with the Newspaper template is this one: https://www.aefvg.eu/. I don’t understand how to color the entire top header bar yellow (besides the logo and main menu). How can I do that?
I’m also wondering how to remove the “LEAVE A REPLY” option at the bottom, near the footer.
Thanks for your support.
Max
Could you guide me how to send the pictures here? If you come to the site you can see 4 coloums like students, grad+ and courses those texts suppose to be at the bottom now they moved up. and I couldnt find the options to bring them down
Hi,
Unfortunately, the provided image is unclear, but I believe you are referring to this section: https://prnt.sc/XRGFT1dxrIYA.
If that’s the case, those are empty columns. However, in the CSS tab they have top and bottom spacing applied, which is why you are seeing that extra space.
What you can do is remove those rows for now. If needed, you can always add them again later from the tagDiv Composer sidebar.
Thank you!
Hi,
I completely understand.
The theme is applying code within the Gutenberg editor, but the content width should still be 726px. If it appears smaller, it’s likely that an additional plugin is interfering.
Regarding the Post Settings, they were previously displayed at the bottom of the article/post. However, Gutenberg introduced options to move them up or down, and even place them in the sidebar.
Still good to see image so I can see we’re talking about the same thing. And it looks as if we are. Rather than meddle with the code, I might live with it for a while. But to be clear, is this a WP or theme change? I notice now also that Post Settings once again appears at the bottom of the editor on scrolling, which I like. I didn’t like having to deal with a separate panel for this, which made the page vertically cramped. It’s strange how WP moves forward and reverts simultaneously.
HI,
In this page “https://aiopscommunity.com/tdcpt_app_listing/moogsoft/”, I would like to remove the “features” tab and also at the bottom of the page, just below the heading “review”, I see “NjbrW’y{2z” How to remove even this?
Hi Calin,
We removed the image on the Home Page banner of the BlockChain Demo and then added the same image, it goes to the bottom of the banner and the size is really small. It looks like there is something else we need to set up to replace image on the homepage.
Thanks
Hi,
I believe you are referring to those – https://i.imgur.com/qIwx9Zz.png those are banners set with tagDiv Composer on ad box elements, select the viewport for phone and click on remove txt from holdin the image/banner, or select the Ad box element and with right-click you can delete it => https://www.screencast.com/t/2GfCVx9BCAw7 or with drag & drop place it into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page.
The ad box has 3 sections for ads: using theme panel ads -> https://i.imgur.com/KFa9ibl.png, using images/banners -> https://i.imgur.com/MfAPTaE.png and custom code -> https://i.imgur.com/2rh8SuD.png
Thank you!

I am experiencing a critical issue with the Featured Image display on our Single Post Template.
The image is being cropped at the top and bottom with the Single Post Bg Featured Image, (e.g., faces are cut off) because the container height is fixed and incompatible with the image’s aspect ratio.
Also using Single Post Featured Image with custom CSS (see below) does not contain the image but cuts off below half of image:
.tdb_single_featured_image img.entry-thumb {
object-fit: contain !important;
width: 100% !important;
height: auto !important;
max-width: 100% !important;
}
.tdb_single_featured_image {
max-height: 500px !important;
overflow: hidden;
}
Good to understand that all images are served through the plugin WP Media Folder Cloud add-on from Google Drive, all images are resized offline with XN-Resize, before uploaded in media library folder in WPMF Google Drive, to be constrained to max 1400x600px size. So images have no seperate thumbnails created in Google Drive. The are coded as thumbnails automaticly inside Big Grid and Flex blocks.
Technical Cause and Conflict
Fixed Height Conflict: The core problem lies in the theme block used to display the header image. Specifically, the tdb_single_bg_featured_image block (which was previously used, or its properties are still inherited) has a hard-coded default height value (600px) that cannot be removed or set to ‘auto’ in the TagDiv Composer settings. This fixed height creates an inflexible CSS container.
Rendering Override: The theme’s rendering engine (or the WP Media Folder Cloud Add-on) applies a height constraint via an inline style or theme JavaScript (JS) that executes with the highest priority, forcing the image to fit the limited height while applying overflow: hidden.
CSS Failure: All attempts to override this constraint using standard CSS (Child Theme, Customizer, and direct Block CSS injection) fail to work against the theme’s rendering logic.
Desired Outcome and Required Solution
The required behavior is the precise inverse of the current rendering. The image must behave exactly like the CSS rule object-fit: contain.
Goal: The image must scale down proportionally based on the available width of the column, ensuring the entire image (full height and width) is visible within the container without any cropping. The container’s height must then dynamically adjust (height: auto) to accommodate the image’s resulting proportional height.
I require assistance in disabling the internal hard-coded height constraint (600px) on the Featured Image block within the TagDiv Composer’s source files, as external CSS solutions are being ignored, or have a workaround presented with custom code that can do the job.
Since Single Post Bg Featured Image is a background image this is difficult. The element is placed inside Single Post Featured Image, to be able to show caption. In the Extra Class of CSS of Single Post Featured Image we no have placed remove-image. When showing the image in this element it only shows with setting 485×360 but then doubles in height strangly.
Any help and solution in this would be much appreciated!
Hello guys,
i removed the background and layout breaks…
as you can see: https://wordpress-919309-5834713.cloudwaysapps.com/ now content section have some padding on both side, i need that of same width of header and footer.
And at least i need help to remove the shadow on bottom content section.
It’s little urgent, pls help.
@Calin Sorry, I put Portuguese, correcting it, it’s English. I’m having 6 problems with https://glostv.com/. Can you help me solve them? I need to resolve this; I intend to buy another theme from you at the end of the month, but I need to fix this. First, the footer on mobile devices doesn’t show “About us, contact”. Quick links and useful links are not in the middle, but at the bottom. Below GosTV, the slogan, and “Watch TV channels” don’t appear on the same line. See link https://ibb.co/Cs5sZzFr
Second, the homepage and no static page (page, not post) allows/offers the option to add a shortcode for a search field. This option doesn’t exist for pages in TagDiv Composer! I bought a search plugin and I can’t use it. I search and nothing appears. See here: https://ibb.co/YT33pMyJ. However, in blog posts, the shortcode field appears normally. There’s a defect. In the normal post it appears, look here, https://ibb.co/QvwxFmwj. The “defect is only on the pages, the TagDiv Composer! doesn’t show the block/option to add the shortcode.” It’s not possible to edit the normal editor, as it has to be the TagDiv Composer editor!
Third, as I mentioned, I can’t put any shortcode on pages/posts (reaffirming item 2), but I can’t change this horrible search field in the header. I’ve already broken the site several times trying to solve this here https://ibb.co/M5M35FyV. I tried in TagDiv Composer! and via code, I can’t. I have the Ajax Search Pro plugin, which uses shortcode to add a search button and it doesn’t work. Here, https://ibb.co/M5M35FyV, I would need to use this, https://ibb.co/KjsV4FD2.
Fourth. On mobile devices, I really need these blocks to appear in the following sequence on this page and all pages created with TagDiv Composer!: Related Channels and Featured Channels. I created a CSS and it didn’t work:
CSS
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.tdi_99 {
order: 1 !important;
}
.tdi_82 {
order: 2 !important;
}
This is only for mobile devices, but I don’t want to have to create a separate mobile page for them. It would have to look like this: https://ibb.co/TDymN4NR, one below the other, and the rest would continue. I didn’t want to create a mobile page for all of them. Link: https://glostv.com/tv-sete-lagoas
Fifth, I really need to reduce the height and width of the contact form. It’s too large. Is this possible with custom CSS? If possible, please help. https://glostv.com/contato
Sixth, Please send me custom CSS for mobile devices to remove the spacing from this here https://ibb.co/99z0MQZ6 on this page: https://glostv.com/estados.
Hello,
I’m using the Newspaper theme on my website Godt Drikke (https://godtdrikke.net), and I have an issue I haven’t been able to resolve.
At the bottom of every article, an old event announcement still appears:
🎄 Juletrefest for voksne – 15. November at Radisson Blu Tromsø
Kl. 12:00–16:30 | Billetter: 400 kr (eks. avgift)
🎟️ KJØP BILLETT HER
I’ve checked and tried the following without success:
Removed it from Menus (including Footer Menu and all menu locations)
Checked Widgets (Footer 1–4, Bottom Bar, After Article, etc.)
Inspected Cloud Templates (both Footer and Single Post templates)
Looked through Theme Panel → Ads / Custom Code
Confirmed it’s not inside the article content (Block Editor)
Despite all of this, the text still appears below every article, right above the “Share this” section.
Could you please help identify where in the Newspaper setup this global content block is located, and how to remove or disable it permanently?
Ideally, I’d like to:
Remove the event announcement entirely
Keep the rest of the footer intact
Thank you in advance for your help — this has been very hard to track down.
Best regards,
Vidar Pedersen

Hello, we have issues with page responsivness – loading times on page http://www.modre-novice.si. We host on highest performance LiteSpeed server. We tried to optimize page with suggested cache plugin WP Super Cache – still not good, than we optimized it with liteSpeed cache – dedicated cacheing plugin for litespeed servers and it was a bit better but still too slow for an news portal.
We asked host to check on it and these were theirs findings:
Hello,
I checked the status of the website and ran a fairly simple test to see how long the initial response time is. I noticed that the response time for the website itself is indeed as described by the client — it takes more than two seconds for the main page to load.
I reviewed the server settings to see if there was anything that could still be optimized, but it seems the configuration is fine and nothing major has been overlooked. I then started looking into the application itself, so I began disabling WordPress plugins to identify which ones have the biggest impact on performance.
First, I disabled the top half of the plugins, but there was no noticeable change. Then I re-enabled them and repeated the process for the bottom half, where it turned out that some plugins could be problematic. When I started disabling the plugins one by one, I found that the “tagDiv Cloud Library” plugin, when disabled, reduced the total page render time by half.
I continued and disabled the “tagDiv Composer” plugin as well, which significantly reduced the load time even further — down to around 320 ms.
Usually, these modules for building and designing websites generate code that, unfortunately, isn’t very optimized for loading speed, even though the end product often looks nice. When I look at the website’s source code, the first thing I notice is that the <head> section is quite large and contains a huge amount of data.
The <head> tag stretches all the way to line 353 in the source code, and there’s a lot going on in that part of the code. This affects how quickly the browser can start loading the content from the <body> section. If there’s too much “bloat” in the <head> area, the browser has to process all of that before it can begin rendering any content.
My suggestion would be to review this page builder and consider replacing it with something else that would ultimately produce better performance.
If you decide to move to a VPS server, it will definitely be able to handle more of these “slow” requests compared to shared hosting. In addition, once the server is actually under load, we can recheck some parameters, and if the page still doesn’t load as expected (in this case, around 2.5 seconds is a typical result for an uncached single request), we can then increase certain limits on the server to achieve higher throughput.

What is the solution here?
My layman’s question is whether the website still works and looks the same when those two plugins are disabled? Namely, the news or posts are generated in the classic way under “Posts” without using these specific plugins. I’m wondering if they can remain disabled and only be turned on when needed — for example, when editing content on individual pages (and not on posts).
As for the tagDiv Cloud Library, it seems that this plugin provides the layouts for the posts themselves, the archive page, category pages, etc. Does the website’s visual structure break if this plugin is disabled?
Hi,
If you have created the content on a “page” and it appears on other pages, then most likely the content was not set on the page but in the header template (if it appears at the top) or in the footer template (if it appears at the bottom). What needs to be done is to move the content to a page and the problem is solved (can be done with drag and drop).
Thank you!
Hi,
I want to stop any social sharing icons appearing at the bottom of each post. I can not set the social share prompt in the theme template to show zero? Please advise what I can do.
Thank you
Hi,
To have the same layout for the articles you can use the flex block 1, the settings will be similar and all of them can be done from the element settings.
To align the stars with the price please use this css:
.cls-wpb .td-excerpt{
padding-bottom: 16px;
border-bottom: 2px solid #e7f0f1;
}
html body div.cls-wpb .star-rating {
float: left;
}
and please remove this css:
.cls-wpb .star-rating{
position: absolute!important;
left: 10%;
bottom: 7%;
}
.cls-wpb .price{
border-bottom: 2px solid #e7f0f1;
}

Hi,
Just make sure that you also remove the row that contains that white space and the problem will be resolved (there is a row that has 100px top and bottom padding.
Thank you!
Hi,
Usually, the ads in prebuilt websites are set in the element AD BOX, and you can remove it, edit with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport for phone and select the Ad box element and with right-click you can delete it => https://www.screencast.com/t/2GfCVx9BCAw7 or with drag & drop place it into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page
