- NewspaperWhen tagDiv Composer is Not Working
- NewspaperRequirements for Newspaper
You probably couldn’t visit our site because at our request for assistance, the hoster rebooted nginx just at that moment. Plus we made changes on the page head.php and we added the og-image tag to <head> and <body>, added 2 plugins for working with og-images, so the problem is solved and reposting works in all social networks. Using the exception method, we will disable outdated plugins. Taking this opportunity, I leave here the code that may be useful to other users, as well as ask the developers to place a separate expanded topic with the solution of such problems.
thank you for support

Im not on apache or nginx, Im on litespeed which is much faster and better protected against DDOS. What issues occur if it stays on 1000?
Hi
I’m unable to import cloud templates on my website which is running PHP 7.3, Ubuntu 16.06, Nginx config. Running WordPress 5.6.
I tried disablingthe plugins and other themes, but the issue persists. Moreover, I the system status is green and all the conditions are met.
Furthermore, I even tried resolving the error from console, but to no respite.
Is there any solution fo this problem.
Here’s the full error code : Error at zones: 6(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
Hi guys
I am able to resolve the “disappearance” and lack of access to tagDiv Composer while I’m customising my Newspaper theme.
I have followed the forum advice on server requirements, php settings/parameters and updated all via my host.
I have today also updated to the latest version of Newspaper including the tagDiv plug-ins (successfully activated).
It appears that despite updating the WP Memory-Limit to 256M (via my host, checked/double-checked) the changes are not being recognised in my System Status report — this remains as an “amber” box and defaulted to 40M. All other settings have updated to “green” boxes ok.
What else can I try? What am I missing?
FYI I am using WP 5.5.3, PHP 7.2.34, Apache/Nginx
Many thanks!
After the migration of website “roma.metropolitanmagazine.it” i have the error “Invalid reply from server endpoint.” when I go to “Cloud templates” section and click on “add new”.
I cannot see all my categories, post, etc from cloud templates and when I want to go on my category from the homepage i have the error 404 NGINX.
How could I resolve this problem?
What could be causing mobile version not to load/render posts on any phone or in chrome developer tools? The server is running nginx. No issue with apache/phpfm.
thanks!
Hi,
Thanks for awesome themes.
I’m using the newspaper theme with Gourmet PRO preset.
Everything working great, but i encountered with 2 issues follows:
1.
just notice there is an extra icon showing with the search icon on mobile device followed by an error on console. after some digging i found that it’s related to another plugin using bootstrap.
extra icon come from bootstrap css and the console warning from bootstrap js (as it’s missing the popperjs).
the error occurring as the search trigger button uses the bootstrap-sh class names and data attribute (data-toggle=”dropdown” & class name ‘dropdown-toggle’) i believe.
This is the plugin that i’m using (which inject’s bootstrap fw): “Easy Blocks – Gutenberg Blocks Page Builder” by Liton Arefin

I’m using nginx caching with Autoptimize and Redis to speed things up.
the mega menu scripts fails when ever i turns on the ‘JavaScript’ optimization with ‘Aggregate JS-files’ option on.
Any suggestion regarding optimization (and related plugin/configuration) will be appriciated.
Indeed the above suggestion does not work for me also:
1. Site is powered by Nginx web server, not Apache, No .htaccess
2. Never heard of MaxCDN. Was not listed in Newspaper requirements.
I am surprised this would even present a problem.
What is next?
Thank you, Vlad
To confirm, system requirements fall within tagDiv’s requirements:
wp: 5.4.1
php: 7.3
mysql: MariaDB 10.1.43
as of 2020.04
nginx: 1.14.1
apache: 2.4.25-3
apache modules (mod_rewrite exists as rewrite_module): https://www.screencast.com/t/gIi6gKRod
Memory I set to 128MB after deploying the server.
All plugins disapled, excepting tagDiv’s, enabled main theme from child theme, no plugin cache, reset memcached on server, cleared browser(s) cache and history, and tried again. Issue persists.
I’m using Flex Block 4.
Module Flex 1, I can adjust title length (I believe was able to adjust previously as well), however excerpt length adjustments have no effect on article content lengths.
Module Flex 4 will adjust title length (was able to adjust previously as well), excerpt length not expected, so except length adjustments displays no effect
Hello,
I’m sure the runtime environment meets the requirements and I deactivated ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins.
In fact, tagDiv Composer is working when I edit the “Home” Page, it works fine, but it crash when I edit the Cloud Template.

Hi,
I need to add a social sharing plugin that also shows sharecounts as well as sharecount recovery + tweet boxes etc. For this, I am trying to use Social Snap.
Unfortunately, now, if i update an article/post, it gives the error:
‘Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.’
While on the nginx log it the website spews out the following:
2020/04/21 12:23:22 [error] 100706#100706: *975292 FastCGI sent in stderr: “PHP message: PHP Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /www/techvise_686/public/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 317”, client: 66.249.73.203, server: tech-vise.com, request: “GET / HTTP/1.0”, host: “tech-vise.com”
I’ve gone through the website forum and its alarming to see that there is no support for any 3rd party social media plugin from you. You should have atleast one that is tried and tested thoroughly. Your theme is extremely popular and well built, however, very few plugins are properly tested and supported.
Kindly provide me with a workaround for this or atleast tell me how to go about fixing the error. I can take the help from plugin creators, however, you will need to guide me as to where to apply their fix.
Looking forward to favourable reply.

Hi,
Unfortunately, the Nginx Fast CGI plugin has not been tested with our theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins. We do not say that it can not work with our theme, but we do not know the right settings to make it work properly with our theme.
This is our list with tested plugins with our theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cmPkh9jba4sZ
Support Policy -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/
Thank you for your understanding!
I am using Nginx Fast CGI and it is the best caching so I don’t want to remove. Please give me an alternate solution for the mobile theme issue.

Hi Calin,
I don’t have Cloud Flare.
Will be an issue with the child theme?
Do you want to give you access on the wp-admin?
Also your theme has minimum requirement for the server set up?
ex. php7, nginx etc.
Hi,
No not an issue about plugins, I did see two posts linked to this one on forums did many tests to fix the issue without success…, Disable plugins, import new demo..
Good news, problem resolved now, my issue was between cloudFlare DNS configuration and Nginx Vhost (domain name with/without www.).
Thanks for your support.

Hi,
If the Nginx platform allow you to install plugins and make configurations on FTP or cPanel, then should be no problems.
Also we didn’t test the LiteSpeed+LSCACHE with our theme, therefore we can not say if this will work properly or not with our theme.
We recommend using the WP Super Cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
The newsmag template works on the Nginx platform with LiteSpeed+LSCACHE ?
After the latest newspaper update, I can’t preview a draft post. My host tells me this is the issue:

This latest update is causing a ton of issues. Can you please fix them?
Mobile theme is loading on desktop, using Nginx helper and redis object cache as caching plugins.
Tried clearing cache from both of these plugins, still with no help I’m asking here.
Could it be a plugin issue?
Hello TagDiv,
I’m Sibi a Happy user of Newspaper.
I’ve seen this bug ( maybe not a bug ) since 9.8
when I check System Status ( to change values in PHP )
then, I configured everything to see green.
but still, one section shows in Yellow… That is Cache Plugin.
My Sites are Already installed Cache Plugin ( WP Rocket, Litespeed Cache, etc )
My Servers are Apache, Nginx and Litespeed.
I Tested Newspaper theme in Various Platform with Various Plugins ( NOT Installed WP Super Cache )
this system status still asks to install a Cache Plugin 🙂
My Question is, Newspaper Only Detects WP Super Cache?
is that a Bug… or my mistake or something?
