Hi,
I am currently facing about the “served scaled images/optimize images” problem which was not shown earlier when I am doing page speed tests with gtmetrix and google pagespeed insight then all of a sudden this results was displayed after another test, here is a screenshot of the result in gtmetrix
https://ibb.co/g7jAiz
https://ibb.co/bXVSVe
and this is the result in google pagespeed insight

This is the link of my website: http://bakdawsinirangan.com/
Hi,
– SSL implementation has to be done by you, check with your hosting and online guides and solutions in the matter. These are some tutorials I found, please check them out
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-ssl-and-https-in-wordpress/
https://css-tricks.com/moving-to-https-on-wordpress/
https://yoast.com/dev-blog/move-website-https-ssl/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/moving-to-ssl/
From what I can see there are no mixed content issues, so the problem is elsewhere. I believe Google Chrome treats all http pages as not secure now
https://www.optimizepress.com/install-ssl-wordpress/
https://askwpgirl.com/how-to-install-ssl-certificate-wordpress/
Double check your SSL implementation and certificate, go over the required steps again. Maybe you missed something. Ask your hosting for assistance, they might have a service of their own for SSL or at least provide some information how you might achieve it.
– The theme will allow you to place ads, there are ad spots in the theme panel. You can use Adsense or different ads, depending on your preference.
There are article ads you can use in the post pages
https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-article-ads/
In pages you can use the ad box element, place them in the page where needed. They will allow you to select from the custom ad spots in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dsjO0qvx5E
– That is a video playlist, edit the page with the tagDiv composer and click on the playlist element. In the composer sidebar you can then remove the default videos and add your own. Enter YouTube video IDs only

Hope this helps.
Thanks
My domain https://www.waftr.com is hosted in USA – Hostgator Cloud server, but still I’m experiencing 2000ms of TTFB, how can I reduce that.
Yes, I tried contacting Hosting provider, they wanted me to optimize the site and I tried my level best. and one of my friends asked me to check in the Theme forum.
Kindly check and let me know your comments,
Thanks in Advance,
Thomas Androws.
Try to clear you autoptimize cache and the wp super cache plugin cache (or cache for the plugin you use if not wp super cache) and see if it resolves the issue. Then debug your posts again as directed by Simion. I used the autoptimize plugin before and did not have issues with it, but I had disabled CSS and js minification for HTML. I now use fast velocity minify.
I see many users that have the plugin installed, but no such issues when sharing. So maybe settings from the plugin could cause it. I don’t have experience with the plugin unfortunately, maybe experiment with different settings.
Also if other users that have installed the autooptimize plugin and have more experience in this matter, please share your thoughts.
Hello nikkib312,
Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized.
-> https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=ro&url=http%3A%2F%2Fyesitreallyhappened.com%2F&tab=desktop
Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit our requirements.
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/
Also, check all of your Ad Spots and if you have entered any suspicious code through them, remove all of them and check the results without them.
One of our top members here on the forum wrote his own optimization tutorial here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/ and here -> https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
Basically, these are the theme requirements
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello theekalvin,
Please notice that if you are not using the Mobile Theme, the theme will display the exact elements which are displayed on the desktop version but in responsive mode, optimized for mobile devices. You should check our demo preview and find out what kind of blocks/modules you should use which looks on the mobile like with the mobile theme layout. You can start from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/X6qnuF20dMy -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-9/
Thanks for your understanding!
Seems it does nothing, I can’t remember why exactly I used that there. You could remove the “right:10%” , maybe optimize the code more if needed. There might be better and simpler solutions to do it with enough time to experiment.
You could reduce the font used for smaller devices, that would be one way to do it to avoid breaking the text in two rows.
Best to change some of your layouts to be simpler, using fewer queries, disable xmlrpc, contact host to see what causing overload. Make sure images are highly optimized, turn off images not used, remove plugins and themes not being used.
Also note that Google has been enabling new enhancements to SERPS, based on “speed rating” (so you may see fewer page views if your site not optimized for 90 speed in Lighthouse, or 90+ on the old Pagespeed Insights test).
Best if you check some SEO guides and tutorials online, and decide for yourself how to create the content of the website. Some guides I found
– https://www.hobo-web.co.uk/headers/
– https://www.link-assistant.com/blog/how-to-optimize-header-tags-of-your-website-for-good-seo/
The post title is the h1 heading, so you could follow it with the other headings to create a structure.
Hi,
While it may look nice on desktop, that table is not suited for mobile. That many table columns will not fit properly on mobile. Also I see that non-responsive fixed values in px are used. I tried, but there would be no way to fit that table on a small screen and also maintain a decent design on it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7cZ3vtx3
The theme has some design for it and will try to make it responsive
– https://www.screencast.com/t/JEcz79e0wDhz
But that may not work with all tables.
What you could do is to create an additional table more optimized for smaller devices. I could give you a code to hide this one for mobile and display that one instead, if you should consider that a solution.
Thanks
Good morning
Google has announced that the upload speed and full upload speed to interact are now values that influence positioning (SEO).
Lighthouse is a free tool (chrome extension) and does performance testing.
Is there a way to set up / configure “newspaper theme” to get a better score?
Above all, in terms of full time load to interact ( 7seconds currently). I’d like to go down to 3 seconds.
I use the google cloud with optimized nginx, my upload speed is very good (631 ms in pingdom). But the reality with LightHouse is that the loading speed of pingdom is not real. The real time for 3g/4g is about 7 sec.

You could try and control what Goggle is allowed or not with a robots file. Some guides here

Hello,
I have been using autoptimize to move the scripts to footer and it solved all the issues except one.
wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js
How do i solve this one?

Hi,
is it possible to switch to the mobile menu as soon as the normal menu expands to two rows, which happens on an upright held iPad? I don’t like the way it looks with two rows. I already tried to reduce font size but that doesn’t look good either.
Is it also possible to change the block used in a sidebar when using a mobile device? I would like to use block 7 on the desktop, but block 9 on mobile devices, because the sidebar is too similar to the content of the page and there is no longer sufficient visual delimitation. Is it possible to change the block or does the look of block 9 have to be imitated via CSS?
Hello,
Please disable the autoptimize plugin as it is known to cause issues with the theme. It is a plugin conflict you are facing and I suspect autoptimize.
Thank you!
WP-Optimize plugin super helpful for clearing some of the built-in WP cache/transients, too.
Hi,
Ads cannot be disabled on specific posts or pages. Once entered in the theme panel ad spots they will be displayed at all times. They can only be disabled by device
– https://www.screencast.com/t/tMZQsVie
If you require more advanced ad options, many users recommend the Adrotate plugin. Based on user feedback this works with the theme, more about it here if you want to take a look
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-ads-in-wordpress-with-adrotate-plugin/
– https://ajdg.solutions/manuals/adrotate-manuals/
The mobile menu will be accessible when the page is fully loaded. So if the page takes a long time to load, the menu may not respond. Our demo would be for demo purposes, we will try to optimize it more however.
Thanks
Glad it worked. There are many plugins that can optimize images. Try other plugins and see which one works best. I have not tested any unfortunately, but you could take a look at some guides and comparisons

When I try to share a post via the Facebook share button, the preview actually has teaser text for another post (my “About” page text). A View Source shows that <meta property=”og:description” content=”XX”> is set with the correct description text:

Hi Simon, that worked great.
However something else came up.
I just noticed that if I use Jetpack’s free CDN service to load my images from their server, on the homepage my banners now get resize to a smaller scale.
Is there any way to fix this? Or can you suggest another plugin to optimize images?
Hi,
1. That would not be possible, when the mobile menu or search is accessed the page will scroll to top. Currently there is not setting to change this functionality, maybe there will be in the future.
2. That would depend on how well the website is optimized. As soon as the page is fully loaded the menu can be used. We provide a mobile theme plugin for more performance on mobile

Thanks
Hi,
If this is your website, there are some mixed content issues at first sight
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1Wx8Ujhvn3lB
They are referring to some fonts you are using on the website and could influence loading speed.
Also plugins may slow down the website, try as a quick test to deactivate theme all, leave only theme plugins active, check before and after loading speed.
I see you have both page builders active, that would have a large impact on loading speed. Deactivate the one you don’t use. We recommend that users use the tagDiv composer, we constantly try to optimize this builder. Try as a test to deactivate WPBakery, check the results.
Install a caching plugin or use free Cloudflare. We recommend WP super cache as a caching plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Or use Cloudflare with these settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thanks
Hello Linda28,
It seems to be a delay at your header style which can happen due to some reasons. Try to disable the Speed Booster and also, optimize your website according to our useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thanks for your understanding!
