Hello,
We have optimized the speed of the theme, the best way we can via cache plugin but some coding works are still needed.

Hi,
Indeed tagDiv Composer can use some more resource because all the theme functionalities were move in it -> https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
We have a topic that can be use if your cpu is high when you edit with tagDiv Composer -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/
Please follow our tutorial for page speed -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/

Hi,
If your host can provide a pro cpu and over 4gb ram only for you, then yes it will handle it, but if is not and your website will have more and more users then will be recommended to use a dedicate server.
Now if the website is lighter and is quite optimize will work on host and is no need for a dedicate server, but this depend of your website content too.
Thank you!
Hi,
The best options for mobile theme plugin and amp are these -> https://i.imgur.com/EYfLUBX.png -> https://i.imgur.com/nieHCCX.png
Yes, you can use these elements for speed, we have a guide for Cloudflare -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Unfortunately for Autoptimise we do not have a guide for the, moment, sorry! you need to find the right settings for this plugin, we have some guides from here:

Hi,
If I understand correctly these are some slow queries that find your host? I pass these to our developers team and they will check it and see what can be done for this.
For the moment the only solution is to use our guides for website optimization -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/optimize-script-to-improve-site-speed/ -> https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/

Hi,
The admin-ajax.php is not use only for Preloading it is use for all the queries that are made by the theme.
For a better performance you can remove the mega menu, and all options for blocks that are use for infinite loading, next/prev buttons, all the elements that can make queries to database.
Please follow our tutorial for page speed -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/

Thanks, that solved the problem for the menu, megamenu, search field! I host on the WordPress Pro plan, and the conflicting plug was one they had installed: “Page Optimize.” In case that helps anyone else.
You must have sent me some brilliance… I fixed the problem, of certain blocks not updating, by checking the “offset posts” settings. Just needed to set those to “0.”
Problems resolved. Thanks!
Hi,
Usually these can be speed up by increasing the theme requirements and optimize your website.

Hi,
1. For the moment there is a quick fix, but this need to be made in theme files, for this you need to go on wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp-booster/wp-admin/js/tagdiv-theme-plugins-setup.js and replace the jQuery(window).load(function () { from line 234 -> https://i.imgur.com/agaEJWA.png with jQuery(window).on(“load”, function () { -> https://i.imgur.com/zBFX5Ye.png also you need to do the same on this file wp-content/plugins/td-composer/assets/js/js_files_for_wp_admin.min.js but since this file is minify you can replace the code inside it with this one ->https://pastebin.com/YTiYVfU4
These warnings will be fix for the coming updates!
2. If you are referring to featured image that need to be display when you share a post on social, then you can use our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/ use yoast seo.
3. Please follow our tutorial for page speed -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/

Hello !
Please make sure that you have cleared your cache in autoptimize plugin too. If that still does not work please try this css: .td-main-menu-logo img {
margin-bottom: -10px;
}
The code must be inserted in here: theme panel> mobile theme> custom code> CSS
But the clear cache option should fix this.

Hi,
I want to use Google Optimize.
Everything works, but I have a problem at one point.
I need to insert the “anti-flicker code” as high up in the head of each page as possible.
What are the possibilities here?
The Code i have to add:
<!– Page hiding snippet (recommended) –>
<style>.async-hide { opacity: 0 !important} </style>
<script>
(function(a,s,y,n,c,h,i,d,e){s.className+=’ ‘+y;
h.end=i=function(){s.className=s.className.replace(RegExp(‘ ?’+y),”)};
(a[n]=a[n]||[]).hide=h;setTimeout(function(){i();h.end=null},c);
})(window,document.documentElement,’async-hide’,’dataLayer’,4000,{‘GTM-XXXXXX’:true});
</script>
Just go through my website https://gkinmarathi.com/
It’s showing some random SQL Command. I don’t understand what’s the issue. I have talked with server team they are saying Kindly optimize your MYSQL query from your end.

Is it possible to properly run your theme on wordpress.com. By properly I’m referring to loading speeds.
I’ve optimized images and did many other things and it shaved off 8 seconds. Now my site only takes 32 seconds to load

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you !
I was just wondering if they were cached, and whether they were optimized for speed vs. a plugin.
Hello. First I’d like to point out that the changelog for Newspaper theme on ThemeForest shows last update as August 10, 2020, Version 10.3.6.1, but in the theme details on the right sidebar it shows the last update was on September 11, 2020. I thought there was a Version 10.3.6.2? The download is still 10.3.6.1. I remember something about needing to update to the new version manually to RE-Enable the theme being able to find and install new updates. That aside…
The RSS Feeds for categories are not updating or are taking a very long time to update. My default RSS feed has all the latest updates: https://www.theaeagisalliance.com/feed
But Feeds for categories aren’t getting updated or are updating extremely slow:
https://www.theaegisalliance.com/category/uncategorized/feed/
https://www.theaegisalliance.com/category/videos/feed/
I’ve set the RSS feed interval to renew itself every 10 seconds, then disabled plugins one at a time while clearing caches, but none of the plugins are causing the issue. The issues with my RSS Feed and MailChimp newsletters not being sent out, or randomly being sent out only once or twice a week that aren’t the latest posts all started happening around the time I first purchased the Newspaper theme. It may have to do with custom post or footer templates in the theme, I don’t know, but after checking all these plugins for RSS Feed conflicts and coming up empty, I’m convinced it’s a theme conflict. It could also be the category templates causing the issue.
I’m also not using an RSS Feed plugin, it’s just the basic RSS feeds that come built into WordPress. I’ve tried other various fixes as well like checking with my web host if it was a Mod Security issue. I checked if having optimize website running in Cpanel was the problem, but it wasn’t. It isn’t functions.php or .htaccess or wp-config.php either, and my RSS Feeds don’t have any errors in RSS Feed validators.
I’m certain this is a theme conflict. A lot of websites depend on RSS Feeds for email newsletters and things to be sent out. The Newspaper theme has an option built right into it to paste in your email subscribe form script, including an option for the highly popular MailChimp that I use, and MailChimp relies on RSS feeds to send out newsletter emails.
This problem needs to be fixed, I’ve gotten complaints from email subscribers about how they aren’t receiving newsletters that much anymore, and when they do its days old content. There are people who’ve since unsubscribed from the newsletter because of this issue also. A newsletter went out the other day for a video post that’s about a month old from the category/videos/feed but there’s a video post from a few days ago that still isn’t even on the videos feed, plus others before that. The category/uncategorized/feed latest update is an article from a few days ago, but there have been more article posts since then that aren’t on the feed yet.
I really do like the theme, it’s capable of a lot of useful, neat, and cool things, but this is an important issue, lots of sites use the RSS feeds, please look into resolving the problem. Thank you.
I use WP Super Cache Autoptimize and Cloudflare

Hi,
I just checked your page and you have a very large post over 7mb + resource this is taking a long time until is loading -> https://i.imgur.com/sqPz6Iz.png maybe you can take a look and optimize some of the images and external resources.
Also we’ll check via email too.
Thank you!
