I would like to know if Google Ad Manager (GAM) is treated the same way as Google Ad-sense with your Newspaper theme administration panel. I found this article for controlling Google Ad Sense and the devices the ads are seen on. https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/. Can we follow the same documentation for managing Ads coming from Google Ad Manager? Or do we need to treat the ads coming from GAM as non-Ad Sense ads?

During the last days when trying to edit any content where the tagDiv Composer is used, it shows the following error in the upper right:

“Errors at column elements: 1(models) : 2(dom). The model does not match the content The current state has involved a problem. You could try an UNDO (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”

This happens on the https://uc.edu.co site which has the Newspaper 11 theme updated to its latest version.

We have updated the theme, the visual builder, updated plugins, deactivated one by one and re-activated and other processes and nothing has worked and we cannot edit or create any content that is with the tagDiv.

A question for an advanced feature

I want to implement a textbox that randomly selects and loads a piece of text from a database containing many texts(quotes). Can you guide me into creating this feature.

Another option would be to create a post element(“flex box”) to show it, it can load random posts from a category containing all quotes as posts. but the element needs to be UNclickable. I could then increase the excerpt length to show the complete quote text.

Any guidance to get this done is much appreciated.

Hello,
We are using Newspaper Theme 11.5.1. Also, we are using the NewsEngin plugin which posts stories from our editorial system. This works on all of our other WordPress sites, however we can only get one image to show on our site. They have to go into WordPress to submit stories and it’s causing double work.

I re-exported all these stories to the WordPress site. I have listed the export logs below from the NewsEngin system. You will see where we are sending both images successfully.

I then checked the WordPress database, and only the first image on the story is part of the Post.

Do you know if there is anything in the WordPress theme that is only allowing one (1) image per Post?

For some reason online obits only display on image per obit. I was asked to provide slugs of example obits where this has happened.
This is happening at all of our locations, but sending examples only from xxxxxxxxxx.com.
This seems to affect editorial posts as well, at least in some cases, per Julie.

Using cloud templates, don’t use the mobile theme plugins so all mobile pages are created per Mobile Templates created with tagDiv composer. Recently I changed themes and updated footer, header, homepage, author and various other pages. The category page was updated with the same theme, each was imported, didn’t not “switch themes” and went to create a mobile template, selected “copy content” saved, edited and for some reason the Category Mobile is the only one that won’t load, it loads the Page Templates Mobile Responsive Page, not the separate mobile page that I created, verified in cloud templates that the Page Template is set and the Mobile Template I created is set. I proceeded to disable all plugins, no change, I deactivate the td cloud library plugins and enabled them, no change. I rename the mobile, deleted the mobile and recreated still no change. I checked the Newspaper themes settings to make sure no category was set, all of them set to inherit. It is like somehow the Category Template is hard-coded to load its own mobile page, not the mobile page that was created from it. The last thing I am thinking of doing is importing the Category Template page again and selected it as the default and testing. Any thoughts on what could be going on? Clear cache and all that jazz.

Hello, on our webpage https://charterpartydisputes.com/ we’re going to have a new posts category. Unlike most other posts they’re not going to have a featured image for this category. We’re using a Posts Loop element to feature all of the latest posts in chronological order, featuring the latest category though leads to a rather unpleasant result having a grid with empty image placeholders. Is there any way to exclude certain posts or posts categories from the Posts Loop element? If not what would be a workaround or solution for the desired result?

Do you, tagdiv, have any plans for a better support coverage? While I understand that you are in a different timezone and can’t be everywhere, it makes it difficult for people like me in (GMT-5). If I arrive in the office in the morning, I reply to the message I received but you are most of the time already off or would not respond after 3pm your timezone. This leads to long support times. I ask a question, next day support response, I reply and have to wait another day.This stretches the timeframe for getting support and having a conversation far too long.

Problem 1 : I have switched on mobile theme for my website. However I am not using the AMP version due to the facts that I need certain javascripts running.
However, while surfing my website some of my posts opens like the responsive version while some others open in mobile theme. I want mobile theme to run perfectly for faster loading than the responsive version. Please help.

Problem 2: Also, I have lengthy content, so i can’ t post more than three adsense ad units in the content section. Even if I post the js code, only 3 ads shows at most. Is there any way to override it? (As google now permit to put more ads for lengthier contents)

Problem 3 : Is it possible to customise the mobile theme? I didn’t find enough details in the tagdiv documentation. Seems like the infinitely possible wordpress theme is getting restricted by tagdiv mobile theme. Can you point me in the direction, to which sections or files can we edit to add more features to mobile theme (If possible to the amp version too) via any expert developers.

I have 4 advertising boxes added on the home page via TagDiv composer.
Two of them do not show the ad, although it is displayed.

I created a Mobile Header Cloud Template and set it as Global, but the default header from the “All about Parenting” demo is still loading on several posts and pages. The correct header loads on one blog post, and the demo head will load on another blog post so I’m not sure why it’s switching between two posts that are both using the same Cloud Template. I have checked all my settings in the Theme Panel and erased all of the “All About Parenting” demo content. I have also deactivated the Mobile Theme plugin in order to show the mobile pages I’ve created. The Global Mobile Header I have set is what shows in TD Composer, but is not what appears when loading the page on an actual mobile device. What might still be generating the text for the demo header? How can I ensure the Global Mobile Header I’ve created is actually Global across the mobile site?

We’re attempting to move 5 single websites into 1 multisite. We’re also trying to move from one hosting provider (iPage) to another (WPMU). We’re trying to migrate our Newspaper theme licenses from single site to multisite. Major problem that is preventing this is that CSS background images are not being converted properly. We’re using ‘Prime Mover’ plugin to do this.

As we have many background images in the CSS panel, it would be impossible to fix every one manually.
Is there something we can do to fix this? We really enjoy the TagDiv Newspaper theme and wouldn’t like to go with another theme company.
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. We are on a deadline to move hosting this week.

After creating an earlier thread, about “amp” problems, still unresolved.

I found other problems. When I add a new post by “CPT”. The tagdiv logo appears giant on the screen.

Also, when trying to create a specific home page, by “mobile page creator”. Simply when I click “OK”, nothing happens.

What would be the solution to this?

I’m trying to put some column text on a page and edit the content but when I click edit content the wp editor window just spins. It never loads or times out. I’ve modified the mem to 256M in my wp-config.php file already. I’ve also deactivated all other plugins. I’ve cleared my browser cache and also used the clear cache on the top of the wp banner. No luck.
