So, if I understood correctly, you had a demo installed and now you want to install another one without content to keep your content, is that right?
If so, the problem arises that when a demo is installed and then another demo is installed, even if it has no content, everything that came with the previous demo is deleted, this includes the page, posts, categories, templates – https://i.imgur.com/zqEWEHN.png – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Now what I can suggest is to stop installing that demo, but to search the cloud for the templates for it and set them as global – https://i.imgur.com/wGJSbGs.png

You understood correctly, only cloud templates and pages can be edited with the composer on the frontend, the default template for posts is editable from appearance >widgets.

I have recently migrated our website from staging to live wp multisite and I am unable to login using the theme login modal, I have no idea how this sidebar has activated and i cannot find where to deactivate in the theme panel and for some reason one of my client’s domain (megphilipauthor.com) is registered on the theme with my license. However the client website is not hosted on my WPMS and has a different license.
I have used WP Troubleshooting to see if there’s a plugin conflict but there’s doesn’t seem to be one.

You have the Mobile theme plugin activate, when you install and activate the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results

Please let me know if you have the WP Bakery plugin or another page builder, if yes, please deactivate and check after.
Also, if you have set the same template to all posts, you need to add the Single Post Modified Date element only once, which will apply to all posts.

OK. So I I think I have done this already. I have a page set up for posts with a sidebar on it created in Composer. That is what I would have to use instead of a default post template going forward. The default template will only allow sidebars built under: appearance/widgets. Correct?

If you create a sidebar with the TagDiv Composer, then you can save it and add it to a cloud template, not a default one. So, you need to have a single cloud template (imported or built from scratch).
We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

I created sidebars using TagDiv Composer for my homepage and category pages. I want a similar look for the default post setup. How do I do that? The default for a post seems to go back to the old way of using a custom sidebar and widgets. If this is the case, I can not see to get the same look for something such as s recent post or a popular post widget. Just trying to get the same look everywhere.

Now only the last part remaining, I am unable to find Pre-Made Style Preset Settings for the Single Post Template feature image. On a mobile device, it should fit correctly. Check This Post in Mobile view.

1. I followed your suggestion. 200% image heigth is too much. I put it to 150% “image height” –> I can live with that. It´s ok. Thank you!
Anyway: As you can see, all product images are still cut off in the width. As you can see on my shop page, especially the product “smart watch” is cut off on the right side … How can I fix it and achieve to display all product images in full (in the width)?
2. If I import a “new blank Woo Archive Template” from the TAGDIV cloud, I can realise such a featured image in all my Shop categories? It is posible by using the TagDiv Composer? Or do I have to use any third party product?

If you are using td composer, edit the header in cloud templates. From there, select the logo and switch to mobile template. You can replace the logo then.
P.S- Strictly do some work on your page speed, it takes forever to load. Start with cache and cloudfare first.

But simply all “PARENT CATEGORIES” with their respective “SUB-CATEGORIES” as pure text links in a vertical arrangement (one line per text link).
How can I achieve this in my template? Currently I use the “Woo Shop Base Template – Makeup Shop”.

If you want to update the theme, you should download the latest version of it from Theme Forest account and download it.

I recommend that you update the theme manually https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ via FTP/cPanel/File Manager, also if possible disable extra plugins during the theme update to avoid any problems that may arise and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look. You can try to update the theme on a staging website.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/

After last update
Category template Magazine pro doesnt display articles sorted by latest date on a couple of categories on site. Other categories are ok. Settings are the same. Global template is used on all categories. Site is : http://www.jelah.info
On home page everything is ok, but clicking on one of affected categories (Biznis, Agrar) the articles display from october last year although there are many articles published from that date onwards.

The “Errors at columns elements: 3(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme or a plugin conflict, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.
If is only for one page or a cloud template (it can be on the header or footer, you can change them for tests and see if the problem persists), this is from some settings/shortcodes set on it and it can be fixed using the page revision.

I updated the theme to the latest update 12.2 and noticed some sections of the website immediately broke. I realized my category pages were different layouts. I went to Theme Panel>Categories and realized that the Category Template section is gone! Can someone please help me? Need to fix ASAP!

Hi, I have a template problem that I can’t figure out. When viewing any “articles” on my website, there is a large blank gap between the feature image and the start of the text. It appears that way on desktop or mobile device. Help!! Hi, does anyone if it’s possible to display two separate pages for mobile and PC? I’ve tried making a mobile template from a Homepage template. I am able to edit the new Mobile template but, when I go view it, it still displays the same page set on the PC Homepage. Sometimes it shows the edited version, but then it’ll also display it on the PC Homepage version. Also, I still can’t get both, the mobile and PC to make header sticky. If I se the PC header sticky, it doesn’t show on the mobile or vice-versa. Any help would be appreciated. If you visit the page https://emprsario.com and both the mobile and PC you’ll see the same version although the mobile has been edited, and you can also see that the header on the PC version is sticky, but not the mobile. I have installed the Coffee Blog template (with demo content) and I have been able to change most of the fonts (headings, menu items, etc.); however, I can’t seem to change the default “excerpt” text font for the home page (see screenshot) as well as the Author box font (see screenshot).
I have tried changing the font in every place I can think of, including the theme panel’s theme fonts section and via the tagDiv Composer with no luck: it still uses the blog’s default fonts. I’d prefer to avoid hard coding it via CSS of possible.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (site link).

I am having a problem editing the header and footers to match my desktop version to the mobile versions.
The WooCommerce product pages will not match up at all and I am not sure how to edit those. The WooCommerce product pages do not have a tagDivComposer edit option.
Also, none of the page’s headers and footers match the desktop version or mobile version when I rotate the phone from vertical to horizontal. It changes to an old version of the footer that I deleted. The image has even been deleted from my media files.
I have deleted the cache AND turned off caching while I try to correct this.
I am using the Newspaper Default Pro template.
Your help is appreciated!
