Hello,
I just setup a mobile homepage https://imgur.com/a/9ocfdog, but it is not showing when I try to access the website via a mobile device. I mean, from a mobile device I see a different layout.
Am I supposed to enable my mobile template elsewhere?
thank you
Hello @ikaris!
Normally, if you use a cloud/PRO template, then you can edit the homepage for example with the tagdiv Composer and you can edit the elements in header and footer too.
If you use a default header, then you can’t edit it with the TagDiv Composer. So, you need to import a cloud one from Cloud Templates: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-use-the-header-builder-and-tagdiv-cloud-header-templates/. You can do it from scratch also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg
Thank you!
Hi, so I have the newspaper theme installed. Everything is perfect but the header for mobile isn’t working.
So, as context, I have all my mobile pages set up and they’re working well. However, I dont have the option to edit the Header in the TagDiv Composer. It says to do it in the Cloud Templates. I created a new header template for the mobile website. However, I have no idea where to apply it.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you! Let me know if any images are needed
Hello @adReaper!
It seems that you have a default single post template and not a cloud/pro one.
You should import, assign and use a cloud/PRO single post template from cloud templates in order to edit with the TagDiv Composer.
Please check this guide from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
Thank you!
Hi!
I follow the instructions on the page https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/.
And when I get to the point “Step 1 – Open a single post template and click on Edit with tagDiv Composer button.” (see screenshot https://monosnap.com/file/KPCIEa42mmqv9vbMQZNKzho8QJm4ac), I can’t find this button “Edit with tagDiv Composer” on my site (see screenshot https://monosnap.com/file/6P3JAP75sNNFBeqcBAoVDpWgOy3cXm ).
There is such a button “Edit with tagDiv Composer” on the Home page (see: https://monosnap.com/file/rdgn3PM67hd7sIthy8NhO7sjEMvbCO), but there is no button on the individual article page (single post template).
Can you please tell me why I can’t edit the single post template through the button “Edit with tagDiv Composer”?
Hello,
The mobile theme comes with its own templates/design for pages, posts, categories, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/3
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.
Thank you!
Hello @shasankagogoi !
1. If you want to display a block with the same article on top, then you should use a cloud template, add a flex block and set the ID of the post as filter. Please make sure you do not have any offset.
2. I think you are referring to a table of content. Unfortunately, we do not have any tested table of contents plugin with our theme.
You can test/use a plugin which is suitable for your needs, but please take care for a future plugin conflict.
Please check this topic too: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/pages-table-of-contents-with-tagdiv-composer/
There I made a video of the same effect based on buttons.
If you do not mean that, then please provide more information about the issue or what you need to achieve, screenshots or a video.
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link, paste it here.
Thank you!
Hello @Takara !
Please check this topic regarding to this error: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cloud-library-not-working-4/
It seems that you use default templates, that’s why you can’t edit them with the TagDiv Composer, so you need to use, import and assign the cloud templates.
For more customizations, we recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Hello @mamaolazprzedszkola !
It seems that you use a responsive version of your desktop with a default header.
So, the easiest way to add the social icons in the mobile menu is to import/use a cloud header template and add the social icons element with the TagDiv Composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/1ZjaHkck
For more customizations, we recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Hello @RAKIBUZZAMAN !
The theme comes with two preset default Google Fonts: Open Sans and Roboto. These fonts are used basically in the demos and templates also. If you want to change that font, then you should apply the new font for each element. After that, it could be easy to change the font from Website Manager. Please note that from Website Manager -> Fonts you can see a analysis of all the fonts currently in use. It shouldn’t be any issue for loading after changing a font if your website page speed is high.
Thank you!
Hi,
When updating the theme, the web was unconfigured. We can’t see the homepage correctly. The heather and the footer is not displaying de correct template. We can’t access to the cloud templates, it says: Invalid reply from server endpoint.
Category Page tagDiv Css AnalyzerProblem…
The first category page doesn’t matter, but the second page is broken.
All of the category templates do.
It’s been like that for a long time, and I don’t know if it’s a bug or not, but it hasn’t been fixed yet.
Hello Charlie,
If you use the responsive version or mobile page, you can set the height on the logo https://i.imgur.com/rnF7RnT.png -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-use-the-header-builder-and-tagdiv-cloud-header-templates/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
Thank you!
I am using by default the post template stile 8. when opened on the edit post page by clicking on preview changes it works fine, but trying on different browsers, mobile, laptops, it’s opening weird as you can see here.
Can I have some help, please?
Hello @theurbanist!
If you want to use a mobile page, then you need to assign it to your homepage. For more information about this mobile version please take a look in this article: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Please make sure the page is not built with the TagDiv Composer. In this case, the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. You should create the content with the Mobile Editor.
You can resize the view of the elements because the settings are responsive which means the values will be applied on that viewport only: –> tablet version: https://www.screencast.com/t/YUVUcyrgh –> mobile version: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. Please note that you need to check every page to make sure they are responsive and look great on every viewport.
Also, you can have different header on every page by assigning a different header to the pages. Or only one by selecting a global header.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello @avstu!
Yes, you can edit the page with the TagDiv Composer and modify or delete the top bar: https://www.screencast.com/t/JombsN0wAIp

Hello,
Please set the page on A Static page, and assign a homepage (you need to have a homepage/page that you have created before) from Settings -> Reading => https://i.imgur.com/mwjp18K.png
Also, please make sure your settings are saved.
After that, you can design your homepage with the tagDiv Composer or you can import a template from tagDiv Cloud Library.
Also, on our channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you and documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ and you can ask us here on the forum or email if you have any questions.

Hello Nirav Vyas!
When you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
Thank you!

Hello!
Yes, you can use Gutenberg or Classic Editor. Please check this tutorial to see how to add posts and pages content: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kjy_PmO8Bws
Then you can style them with the TagDiv Composer using a cloud post template. Hi .
I have recently change my homepage layout, but now i am getting an error that my homepage contents are showing below the single post. Please help
Hi pageoneph,
I think that I know what the problem is. It is possible to have a low internet band and when you access the cloud from backend it needs to load all the cloud templates, so if this can not be done in a period of time you got that message. Our developers are working to improve this section and to no longer need to all al the cloud templates and only those from the category that you want to download.
Now and working alternative for that situation is to open the cloud library from the frontend. For example you need a cloud category, go on a category and click on cloud -> https://i.imgur.com/rtOlQ9K.png also the cloud can be opened from tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/tSMIb9e.png
I hope this will help you!
Hello,
I verified your website and the footer seems to be the same on the posts and pages ->https://www.screencast.com/t/VC1XIEtTMEro
Also, I recommend you to use Cloud Templates, instead of to use templates from Theme Panel, you can customize the Cloud Templates layout with tagDiv Composer.

Hi,
If you are using a cloud footer template, then you can set the embed code by editing the homepage using the tagDiv Composer, scroll to the footer and set in the footer zone a column text or text with title and set in it, in text zone the embed code -> https://i.imgur.com/QXIGNly.png (it can also be use the html element).
Thank you!
