Some little problems I faced that relate to the mobile experience:
– How can I configure ad sizes of mobile devices? I do make modifications on the ads section from the panel but no result.
– How can I get rid of a sticky ad that appears when I scroll down on mobile, I want to disable it because it is against AdSense policy perhaps.
– And lastly, how to minimize the space between the custom ad I created and the next and back buttons -see my page below for reference.
The template I used from the cloud is:
https://thastory.com/tdb_templates/single-post-template-1
For context here is my page:

Thank you so so much!! and sorry for being silly
This theme is AMAZING! I couldn’t describe how flexible it is, I got what I exactly wanted to do, thank you a lot!
I only couldn’t figure out how to make the featured image not show in the other pages like it was the case for the default post template.
Other than that, it is just perfect
Hello !
You can edit it by adding a custom single post template to your post pages. Find out more about it here: https://tagdiv.com/customize-articles-with-single-post-templates/
Thank you !
Hi,
I couldn’t find a way to edit post templates, and TagDiv composer is not available in my post pages, only accessible when I’m in the home page.
How can I do that, thank you.

Hi,
That error in some cases is related to content entered in pages/cloud templates that is not part of the composer, like custom code or various plugin shortcodes for example.
Or it can be caused by plugins – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Thanks
Hello !
You can achieve by using the tagDiv Composer, selecting the row you want to stretch and select the stretch method you want like here: https://www.screencast.com/t/yVyvk8yTQCCO And for the header you can do it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/xf56tQN0. In order to stretch post pages you will have to add a template from the cloud templates to it and then modify it.
Thank you !
Thank you, the plugin provides shortcodes but when I use the shortcode even though the map is displayed on the page it doesnt show the location for the post its just a blank map. When I edit the template at /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/single/ and choose that template everything seems to work fine.
Hi,
All the theme modules have a specific thumbnail size that they will use, including the module used for the mega-menu
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
The theme will always crop the images, they will be cropped center top
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/
Maybe you can consider using a cloud header template
– https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
Using a cloud header there are options for the mega-menu for the images, so you can load a bigger thumbnail and adjust it – http://prntscr.com/nrabgc – http://prntscr.com/nrab81
In pages you can use flex blocks and flex grids, these have the same options for the images, so you can adjust them there as well if needed. As opposed to predefined blocks the flex blocks have many settings in terms of layout, we created some designs here (these can be imported with the cloud library plugin) – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks
As a note, please don’t bump the post. This will only refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line. We reply from oldest to newest at all times.
Thanks
Hi,

Hello!
I am having some issues with AMP template.
First of all, when I go to homepage, images from articles are blurry (but inside article, they are fine).
Also, mobile switches randomly from AMP to normal mobile theme, how can that be fixed?
IT LOOK AS WP BAKERY DO NOT WORK WITH THE AMP PLUGIN
I use Newspaper theme version 9.7.2.
The theme has installed some plugins from TagDiv such as: 1. âtagDiv Composerâ, 2.âtagDiv Mobile Themeâ, 3. âtagDiv Speed Boosterâ, 4. âWPBakery Page Builderâ. The last one I think is the one that create that strange sytle, so I deactivated it.
Consider that Google says it will take several days to check. So if you think this could be the problem I can ask google to validate.
Here you can find exact Google error:
for the page
https://petadvisor.it/cucce-cani-interno/?amp
1) âThe tag ânoscript enclosure for boilerplateâ appears more than once in the documentâ
and the error highlighted by the google search console is:

2) âOnly amp-boilerplate and amp-custom âstyleâ tags are allowed, and only in the document head.â
and the error in the search console is

Please give me any advice. I have 5 website with this error!
Using default predefined post templates and category templates, the smart sidebar (when the setting is enabled in the theme panel) will apply to both.
If you don’t want a sticky sidebar in category pages, you could use a cloud category template, here are some examples – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Category
A cloud category template can be imported (and modified if needed) or designed from blank.
In a cloud templates or pages you can choose if you want a sticky column or not
– http://prntscr.com/nr8k3m
So regardless of the general smart sidebar option being active, you can configure the template sidebar column to not be sticky.
The front page on newspaper theme: a section between whats included in the template and the footer cannot be removed. Seems like it is not a part of the template. How to edit/remove this in composer?

Hi,
I have installed the FastNews demo theme which I’m trying to customize and I have an issue with the categories page.
When I click on a category I get all articles from that category below the header but above the sub-header bar with buttons following the homepage.
Check screenshot here: https://pasteboard.co/IfA7Mwi.jpg
I tried editing the template but nothing.
What do I need to edit and make it exactly like the FastNews demo theme categories page?
Regards,
Andreas
Hi,
If you want to make your own category template you need to import the blank template -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WmAi8pDML3 set the category grid -> https://www.screencast.com/t/EYZffzAF also set a posts loop -> https://www.screencast.com/t/DOX37w8SB
Basics: Using the tagDiv Composer Front-End Page Builder -> https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/
Thank you!

Hi,
That would be possible. If you use cloud templates you can choose what is displayed in them. So for example if you have a few posts in which you don’t want ads, use a cloud post template for them – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Cloud post templates won’t display the article ads entered in the theme panel, they will display ads entered in the template itself – http://prntscr.com/nqtr50 so if no ads are entered there, the post content will have no ads.
Cloud templates can be used for almost if not everything: header, posts, categories, author pages, archives etc.
Or you could use the Adrotate plugin, I believe with it you can control where the ads are displayed. Some info about the plugin here
â http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-ads-in-wordpress-with-adrotate-plugin/
Thanks
Not sure if this is the same error I am facing but the 4 column format has an error in the 3rd column, only in the portrait viewport (third from the left).
If you have say, 4 buttons, placed in 4 columns, everything looks nice in desktop and landscape viewports. But when you go to portrait viewport, the 3rd column element gets hidden somewhere or goes smaller than the first two, depending on the column spacing set. So you see only button 1, button 2 and button 3 (columns 1,2,4).
When you switch the display to mobile viewport, it again becomes proper, with the 4 buttons shown one below the other.
Noticed the same effect even in the Cloud templates that use this format. And noticed this while designing with TD Developer as well as in the final page displayed on the website (after saving in TDD).
Faulty Templates having this problem:
Pages templates: Services Page – Construction
Sections: Hero Header Services – Construction
Sections: Latest Projects – Construction
I have not tested other templates but probably the problem will be in the other ones too.
Any way around? For the time being, I have switched to 3 buttons (using 3 columns) format. Thanks,
Hi,
If you do not made any changes in theme files, then all your settings will not be lost, all the settings made in theme panel or post/pages/templates are save in database, for update please check our documentation for: How to Update the Newspaper Theme for WordPress -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Hi @localpittsburgh,
If I understand correctly, you want to edit the page template to show a certain sidebar on events page; in order to edit a page template you need to go in -> wp-content/themes/Newspaper/page-pagebuilder-latest.php
Hope this will help you!
Thanks.
Hello
I used AddToAny plugin to add share buttons on my page. But because my template Newspaper>Gossip is split on more sections, share buttons are all over the page.
Here you can check: https://bit.ly/2VzqcCz
Can somebody help me? Maybe some css for AddToAny plugin will help.
I need to use Geo Mashup plugin with the theme so I’m trying to place the following code into single page template:
<?php echo GeoMashup::map( 'map_content=single&auto_info_open=false&static=true&map_type=G_NORMAL_MAP&width=690&height=260&zoom=18&add_map_type_control=true&add_overview_control=true&open_object_id=' .
get_the_ID() ); ?>
https://github.com/cyberhobo/wordpress-geo-mashup/wiki/Tag-Reference
I imported a cloud template. Edited and renamed it to My Template. Using TagDiv Composer tried adding the code via “Raw HTML” box. Then went to Newspaper > Theme Panel > Post Settings > Default Post Template (site wide) and activated My Template there, but naturally the php code for raw html box didn’t work.
Any way I can edit my single-post template to include this GeoMashup code?
I have defined,
Theme panel > template settings > author template > general author template > author template 1.
Still when I go back to author pages followed by a post it says,
Oops… Error 404
Sorry, but the page you are looking for doesn’t exist.
You can go to the HOMEPAGE.
Please help me if I am missing something.
This trick seems to work for me, but only for the existing single post page templates. I created a cloud template and added the next/previous element in TD composer, but it seems to call from a different file, rather than “td_module_single_base.php”
If I could find and edit that file, it would really make my day.
