Unfortunately the theme does not ave a page template for landing pages however you can try to use a plugin with a similar functionality. I can’t make any recommendation in this regard as we didn’t tested any plugin for landing pages but you can do a search online and look for best plugin on this niche then try a few of them. To achieve that you have to edit the file corresponding with post template used and add a condition like here: http://screencast.com/t/fgaE01sDLe The condition will work only if you’re using a static page as homepage. If you’re using blog template then you have to use is_home() function.
Before making any changes in theme’s files make sure you do a full backup to your current wp-install.

Thanks for explaining this to me. Is there still ways to be able to display content that is used by visual composer in the template files for the mobile theme (for example, a page that displays certain content, by creating a specific template?)

When reverting back from mobile theme, which i have done a couple of times. It throws the container for the page, therefore when i scroll down, my content can be swiped right and just displays the background.

I do want to use the mobile theme as i think it looks and loads amazingly, so if there is a way of customisation through page templates, that would be great.

I’ve checked your site and noticed that you’re using blog template for homepage. On this template you can’t use Visual Composer because its default functionality is to display latest verticals published. To use Visual Composer on homepage you have to set a static page here: http://screencast.com/t/49dRJFvXz

I didn’t see a plus (+) button at all. Looked around a bit but no way found to add anything into that column. All I wanted from you originally was just the raw code from your template file that accidentally deleted so I can paste ir past back into my customized template. Just need the code and where to put it.

Now I must have done something I didn’t intend because after trying to use Visual Composer. I .. just get an error message on my home page now – I think I was looking to add a column or something but it just got stuck (spinning icon) so I closed the window and started again. But the layout of my template changed…almost all the images have disappeared and there is a little box icon with a zero “0” in it now that I didn’t have before…and when I click that icon I get the same Internal Server Error!!!!

Here’s the error:

On our recipe demo we use normal post type for posts, there is not a custom post type used. We only created a specific layout for that demo but there are used default posts and pages from WordPress, not a custom post type.
You can post recipes on your site using wp posts, just chose one of theme’s post templates which will fits best for your needs. You can also group your recipes into some specific categories so you can easily sort them.

1. There is no ideal size for featured image. Basically image’s size should be at least by thumb’s size where will be used. You will have to asses the containers and thumbs you plan on using on your site and the post templates as well. If you use post templates that use the full size images like: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-2015-awards-all-of-the-best-and-worst-moments-from-the-show/ then a full hd image is required. If not, you need to inspect every element especially on the homepage. If you use big grids, your images must be at least the size of the big grid container otherwise they will not fit inside and not display properly. We don’t have a comparison table of features between Newsmag and Newspaper. Both themes share the same core so their functionality and performances are similar. The main differences are in designs/appearances and the content area width which slightly differs from one theme to another, Newspaper’s grid width is 1068px while Newsmag’s width is 1021px and the Newsmag’s theme grid has been designed to support the borders between sections of a page: http://screencast.com/t/pNkgzN1Kn8Y5

Please check the bellow code and tell me if i need to use image so which code i can use because this code “background-image: url(“images/enewsvid_background.jpg”);” is not working, background color code is perfect working.
