Hi,

Maybe the hosting provider can provide more details about what exactly they have identified from the theme, to be causing such issues. The error you mention usually is server related
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-503-service-unavailable-error-in-wordpress/
The theme has these requirements
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Also some modifications should be made to the WordPress and server parameters mentioned in this guide if necessary
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
The theme and theme plugins should work properly in these conditions.

Thanks

Hello abhishek.jec2009,

Ensure that you are using the latest theme version and make sure that you have followed all the steps from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/

Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit our requirements.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/

Hi,

That is unusual. So you mean there are no fonts present in the dropdown selection, in the theme panel font settings
https://www.screencast.com/t/2qJoclxdnxJ
Maybe the theme did not install properly. You could try to reinstall it by FTP
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Then check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters if needed
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You can ask your hosting provider to make them for you if needed. These are basically the theme requirements
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Please let us know if you still have a problem.

Hi,

This could be caused by insufficient resources. Please take a look at these WordPress and server parameters and make modifications if it is required
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider to make them for you if needed. Also note that the theme is tested with PHP versions up to 7.1.
These together with the theme requirements should ensure the functionality of the theme and theme included plugins

It seems that no images and thumbnails are displayed on the website, and the functionality of the theme is broken in some elements. Please try to reinstall the theme by FTP

Then deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, and clear all caching. Do not modify the theme files in any way.
Check these parameters in the theme system status and make sure they are set properly

Hi,

If you have increasing traffic on the website, maybe you need to consider a better hosting plan. The theme requirements are as follows
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Additional modifications need to be made to these WordPress and server parameters
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Test while having only theme plugins active, some plugins can have a negative impact on performance. Here are some general WordPress tips

Hello someint,

What kind of PHP version do you are using on your server? You should not use a PHP version bigger than 7.1 and also, for more information about server configuration, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Also, after all of these has been right completed, try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and use only the required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet and check the results. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, clear all the caches and check the results.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

There seem to be many errors on the website at the moment
https://www.screencast.com/t/sGKJ3rNhr
A suggestion would be to make a clean install by FTP
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Deactivate all plugins except theme provided plugins, clear all caching. Remove or check any custom code in the theme panel. Do not modify any of the theme files. If you use a child theme, deactivate it as well.
Check the theme system status and these parameters
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Basically these are the theme requirements along with the mentioned parameters
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
The theme and theme plugins should work properly under these circumstances.

Thanks

Hi,

The Social counter is a plugin created specially for the theme, it cannot be a matter of incompatibility between them.
Check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary contact the hosting provider and they might do it for you
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
The theme requirements are mentioned here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Please re-install the theme by FTP
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Deactivate all other plugins except theme plugins (re-install theme plugins as well), do not modify anything in the theme files, or add custom code. Deactivate the child theme is you use one.
If there is still a problem please ask your hosting provider for the error logs possibly created, and explain the situation to them. They could be able to identify the exact cause.
Please let us know the results.

Thanks

Hello bwredesign,

This error seems to come from your untested plugins which you are using on your side, sorry! I have checked your source page and I saw that you have some js errors which seems to come from that reason. Also, you should update the theme to the latest version of it via FTP way and check the results. Before this, you should check the PHP version to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/

Hope this helps!

I meet all requirements.
Server parameters are correct.
The theme was installed via FTP.

Did you check the lines of code that I referenced in error log? It appears to be an issue with post_type/post_type_object:

First Error:
return $post_type->publicly_queryable || ( $post_type->_builtin && $post_type->public );

Second Error:
add_meta_box( ‘pageparentdiv’, $post_type_object->labels->attributes, ‘page_attributes_meta_box’, null, ‘side’, ‘core’ );

Hi,

The tagDiv composer is fully tested and compatible with the theme. It is created specifically for the theme and it should work properly in all cases. But other factors may interfere with the functionality.
Basically these are the theme requiremenets
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Along with these server and WordPress parameter configuration
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
A recommendation would be to reinstall the theme by FTP
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Use only theme plugins, deactivate and delete them and reinstall them from the theme package. Do not make any modifications to the theme files, check any custom code you might be using. If you use a child theme switch to the main theme.
Then check if everything works properly, let us know the results.

Thanks

Hi,

You modified it right, but it seems that the htaccess method might not be the one needed. Remove it from there to get the website going with no errors. I don’t know what other suggestion I could give you, besides to keep trying to contact and plead with the hosting provider to help you. This is an easy task for them, the least they can do is to point you in the right direction or maybe they have a guide.
Basically the theme has these basic requirements, besides the server and WordPress parameters
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
In these conditions everything should work properly, theme and theme provided plugins.

Hi,

The theme is compatible with both Apache and Nginx

Regarding the white space, there seems to be a custom ad inserted in the top section of the page, where the header ad would be

Hi,

Basically you need to trim down the block ajax options meaning the blocks pagination and ajax filters, this should have an impact. Remove pagination and ajax filters from blocks on pages and in sidebars
https://www.screencast.com/t/dJiJC0KA7lWD
Deactivate Related articles on posts as suggested, and Latest articles on pages
https://www.screencast.com/t/8GOc6mmqTp
https://www.screencast.com/t/YSAB199r
Also make sure you do not use too many different types of blocks on pages. Plugins can also make requests. Deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and monitor the situation.
Maybe you should consider upgrading the hosting plan, if your website traffic is increasing, the you should not cut back on more complex features.
These are the theme server requirements, and some hosting requirement suggestions
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Thanks
