Since I installed this new theme, I am facing this very strange issue… and it has never happened with my old theme.
The issue has something to do with Yoast SEO plugin. Whenever my authors writes and article and put some text into it, after saving the article or submitting for review, it automatically gets disappeared.
Initially, I thought, these authors are doing some mistakes but when I received the similar complaints from more Authors, I thought to ask you for this.
Please help.
Hi, is there a way to change the “REVIEW OVERVIEW” or “SUMMARY” tags in the review table with the title of the current post. Thought that would help a little with SEO. 🙂

1. I have switched from blog mode to static page. Here is proof(http://prntscr.com/ccjhqf)
2.I have created the page with visual composer and adding the grid element. You can see from the screenshot(http://prntscr.com/ccjirq)

4. My main worry is, “Why is it not showing on the page as I want it to look like”?

Do you find the plug in affects the performance of the websites at all? I’ve read some mixed reviews on this.
You can embed shortcodes into a custom snippet of any code, like ads, etc., using the filter hooks in the AMP plugin docs to add a block of code at footer in the AMP template.
For videos, yes, we use the template with “no featured image” for the post, then put the video at top of the post box. We also do this for some book reviews where the book cover is tall and skinny and doesn’t work well for any of the featured sizes.
Or, you could create custom field for your video, then add an amp-iframe video box by inserting the shortcode at footer of the amp template.
By example to play with, which must be added to main functions.php

I’m preparing a redesign of a website built using Newspaper. To test it properly, I need to have a local instance of the theme running (CSS styling is not enough as I have to change theme settings as well, so I can’t test it as a child theme on an active installation).
Will the theme be functional enough if I run a non-activated copy of it on a local machine for testing only?
Or, if not, is there a way around? How to play with the theme for preview only?

I can’t use the “Pin It” button on my posts because when I try to Pin an image from my post, it is bringing me up the modal image window.
All I want is to deactivate that image pop up so the readers can pin images from my posts.
Info: 1. The issue appears only on “Smart Lists Posts”.
2. On featured images or images which aren’t from smart lists, everything is fine.
Basically, all that I want to do, is cut the link from the smart lists images so that the image pop up doesn’t appear => the users can pin that images.( just like the featured image from posts or other normal image).

Reviewing the problem of someone else in the forum, I found the solution to a problem.
Site logo has black background #000000 (on the site for computers and solve it), I’m using the style header 5 (black header), but the color is not the same as it has the logo, reviewing the forum I found this code:

And I worked alone in the post, but in HOME and all looks the same category. In post everything perfect but in all categories and not turned Header.
*In the footer of all categories HOME and the same thing happens(in mobile), the logo has black color, but the color of footer is not #000000

Issue: I would like to remove TEACHER RESOURCE REVIEWS (scroll down on the home page and you’ll see this section before LATEST ARTICLES). I’d like to replace that section with one called EDUCATION IN THE NEWS. now we are using the mobile theme on our websites and are using wp super cache and all recommend settings. But for some reasons sometimes the mobile theme doesn’t load. Instead the mobile version of the Newspaper theme appears. Could you please review the site what is the reason for this failure.
We need to load the mobile theme reliable due to different ads spaces and menus.

First of all, I will thank you for your interest in our theme. Before doing your project, I suggest you reading all our documentation. You will have to get familiar with all of theme’s settings regarding on Videos and then you will be able to implement and applies all of them in your website. Unfortunately the related articles do not have this functionality. It will bring the latest posts from all categories. If you change the sorting order hard-coded you change it for the post themselves not the categories. You can try to change the sorting order for posts like so:

$atts['sort'] = 'random_posts';
Instead or random posts you can use any of these sorting options:
oldest_posts, popular, popular7, review_high, alphabetical_order, comment_count, random_today, featured
Just change the text between the quotation mark with another of the sorting options but there is no such sorting in our theme as you describe. sorry.

The theme is working excellent!
In the live preview demos of the theme with the “news ticker” Visual Composer feature, the ticker is equidistant from the blocks and the menu. No matter how I change the spacings within the Visual Composer I can’t get this to happen. Is there some custom CSS I need to add in the Theme Pannel to make this possible for the homepage only? Specifically just editing the pixels from menu on the top of the homepage? (Spacing good on all other pages) Thanks!
The “related articles” are sorted by date, and sort by name tag?
For example, if an article I put the tags: Music, Videos, Review.
I wish related articles appear in this order: first all the items of the tag “Music”, then “Review” and finally “Videos”.

I have just recently purchased the newspaper theme and love it! My question is that I am working on building a type of website for movie trailers and reviews. I just want to make sure this would be the best theme to do this with. I am an amateur and doing this more for fun than anything else at this point. If this would be a good theme to do this with could you recommend a demo to start with and possibly any plugins or widgets I should use to do this. I do not want to get to far into this and find out I am going in the wrong direction. Thank you for any information on this.

To the matter at hand, we do plan on implementing further options into the mobile theme. For the moment it;s only version 1.0 and we launched it to see if it grows in popularity and if users like it so we can asses if we will spend time and effort into improving it and adding more options to it. The mobile theme is a success and we will add updates to it and implement more options in future updates. But for the moment the there is only 1 smart list style and 1 post template and one homepage template. It’s limited, I know, but we plan on updating and providing more options in the future.
