I wanna report problem with custom font:
I’ve charged the configuration with 2 custom font in the “Add custom fonts / Change google fonts settings” panel as described in the documentation but after reload a page different from the homepage the fonts are not charged correctly.

Inspecting the page load with firebug I see that the url of the font is wrong (in the confiration I’ve wrote the full URL http://beta.ilnostrobimbo.it/wp-content/font/xxx.woff)

I think that this needs code review for the function.

I also report problem with the mobile custom view of the font menu. If try to explore the site from mobile phone, the menu font are standard, else if I changed them in font custom panel.

Need your support to solve this issue.

Our preference is to use the YouTube embed code in the Text window instead of the Featured Video panel in the admin sidebar, so we can control the image appearing as the Featured Image. However, the YouTube code appears in the previews of the Posts (as shown in the posts “Body cam video…” and “Church security…” on this Web page http://comptonherald.com/category/nation-and-world/).

How can we stop the code from showing thru?

I have created a custom post type called hidden post. I want it to be the exact same as standard posts, but i dont want any of these posts to show up in any of the post feeds as i want to use a custom method of displaying these posts.

On the input form for standard posts there is a “Post Settings” box that lets me set the template, add review scores etc. How can i add this to my custom posts?

Hello everyone!

I was recently running my website (www.christianholydays.com.au) using the Enfold wordpress theme and was receiving an average of 80 in the google page speed test. After deciding to try other wordpress themes that appeared to receive good reviews for speed, I changed over to Newspaper. I spent a couple weeks transitioning the site over to newspaper, and then received an incredible shot when I did a google page speed test:

35/100 on the mobile version, and 40/100 on the desktop version. When looking into the reason for the poor score, I discovered several issues. It appears that all of the images are being resized and instead of optimised files being delivered, full size images are being resized via css/html. This is affirmed through GT Metrix as well. GT Metrix gives 65/100 score, and states that several images are “resized in HTML or CSS from 845×475 to 178×100.”

Can someone please help me with this issue? I’ve tried to do several things to help the issue, but it doesn’t seem to be working.

I’ve currently got MAXCDN installed with additional zones, using the fastest hosting package through Siteground, purchased the ewww image compression functionality, have w3 caching plugin installed, and static/dynamic/MEM caching through my server. I’d hate to see what my score was with out any of the caching plugins! Perhaps it’d be better??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I really love your theme – it’s great! But now I am facing a problem – when I choose to sort reviews by best rating, it doesn’t show them correctly. (lower rated reviews are before higher rated reviews and so on).

Most ratings are pretty close. Like 90.3%, 90.7%, 92%, 92.4% etc, but I’m sure that theme should recognize that.

I have a newest version of Newspaper (updated few minutes ago).
Also tried to disable all plugins – no luck.
Also updated each review – still no luck.

Maybe you can help me?

but when i visit like a user all the news are not found 404, the same in the preview on the admin panel.

While testing using the structured data testing I noticed that for each of my images I get errors:

datePublished: missing and required
headline: missing and required

I am unsure why this would be the case, and advice?

Also I can see the review and author meta data are visible but these don’t show in the SERP’s, thoughts?
