Hello.
One article on a client’s blog is showing a different facebook preview than all the rest when shared through facebook. We can’t figure out why.
The article in question is:
https://inspirementmagazine.com/losing-my-brother/
It displays with a small thumbnail to the left of the excerpt.
All the rest of the articles on the page, when shared through facebook, show a bigger image at the top, and the excerpt is below. Wondering if anyone can explain why.

Just installed the pre-built gadget blog site, when I move to “reviews” on the main menu it shows the posts but not the post titles, but it’s only on the home page that it does this, so if I click on “gaming” on the main menu then hover over “reviews” it shows them with the title
Hope that makes sense, no idea what setting I’m missing, I’ve looked several times.

In order to see the reviews you will have to add them when editing the post here: https://www.screencast.com/t/TGY1EXZ9p and then using tagDiv COmposer simply add the element on your template: https://www.screencast.com/t/hCYE7ehv

Hello there,
I changed the post temple to be something else and when this happens the reviews don’t show up. The entire pages to look like the new global template; however the only thing that is missing is the review. Is there something else that I should be doing for them to appear?

The photos and copy got wiped out when I added a new post. What is going on? Only the title remains.

Also, check the other articles. Only the title is showing up not the photos or copy. The co-worker I was doing this with told me to get rid of the Classic Editor plugin. I did but this problem remains.

Hi, on last weekend I’ve updated my website to WP 5.9 and I’m experiencing some problems that I missed during testing it at offline server. The first one is the problem with ad boxes, I started a new topic for this. A few moments ago I also realized that I can’t write or edit any article or page in Gutenberg editor. Paragraphs cannot be added, there is only a communicate “The block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”. To find out what causes this issue I started to turn off plugins one by one. After disabling all TagDiv plugins I can write articles/pages again, Gutenberg has no errors. Do you have a solution for this?

I don’t know if it’s connected, but my post preview doesn’t work either, when I click on preview open the home page instead of the post.
I recently upgraded from Newspaper 11.2 to 11.4.1
I noticed that the line spacing between Lists has increased significantly, even though the template settings are the same as before.

Thanks for getting back to me.
This is a shame as it’s a big part of why I’m using this theme, in fact, I actually purchased this theme as the sales page says the following:
This bestseller theme is perfect for blogging and excellent for an e-commerce, shop, store, WooCommerce, news, newspaper, magazine, publishing or review site.
Let’s be real, you cant run a review site on the newspaper theme when the schema doesn’t work and I’m getting a ton of errors in the search console, this is false advertising and should be removed from the sales page.
I can’t imagine this would take long to fix either.
I think this should be pushed to the developers and needs to be fixed ASAP. It’s very unprofessional that the developers are aware of this problem and have been for a long time but refuse to fix it.

As mentioned, this just worked “out of the box” with Apache and I had assumed it would be similar Nginx.

Thanks, I could achieve displaying the buttons after following your instrctions. But there is a small problem. The buttons on mobile preview is top aligned. But I need it centre align. In the left panel I have given it as centre, but still the button shows as top aligned. Can you please help me to make it centre aligned.
Hi, after updating “Newspaper” to version 11.4.1., the official AMP plugin has started returning an error, which you can see in this screenshot:AMP Screenshot

In addition, Google Search Console has also started giving hundreds of AMP validation errors: “The referrer AMP URL is not an AMP page.”
I have the latest version of all plugins and WP fully updated.

Our custom mobile homepage is occasionally displaying when loading our website on desktop. (www.dutchreview.com).
The issue is occurring intermittently and seemingly without cause. It occurs for users who are logged in and people who are only readers of the website. The issue occurs on multiple browsers.

The standard setting for typography in the block settings when editing a post (custom post template) is 32.
On the live website: https://www.chillipicks.com (WP5.8/Newspaper 11.3.1) all body text in posts is displayed correctly according to my font settings in theme panel.
After updating my test site https://staging.chillipicks.com to WP5.9 and Newspaper 11.4.1 version (all plugins updated as well) the block text of existing posts is not displayed correctly – too large. I did not change any settings for fonts in the theme panel.
When I edit a post and change the typography from 32 to either 15 or even 50 the preview of the post shows the correct font size for the block text.
Many thanks for you advice on what to do.
P.S. Viewing of the test site is protected by a password (so it’s not scanned by search engines) which I can share in private.

I updated my test site to WordPress 5.9 and Newspaper 11.4.1 (required plugins are updated as well).
In posts that use an adjusted custom single post cloud template the font size does not equal anymore the one set in the theme panel when block typography is set to 32 in the editor – typography 32 is the default running on my live website that is still WP5.8 and Newspaper 11.3.1.
If I’m in editing mode for a post and change typography to either 15 or even 50, the post font is displayed correctly in preview.

In header, there are some lines of codes. I contacted siteground to see if it is hosintg and they sad thats caused by tagDiv Cloud Library plugin that is making dozens of thousands of requests to optimize the header. This is what the Siteground support wrote me:

Based on the plugin’s functionality there is a function getimagesize which seems to be not optimized. I would suggest contacting either the website’s developer or the plugin vendor so they could review it further. For now, I have deactivated the plugin, and public access to the website is restored.
Please optimize the plugin prior to it’s activation, otherwise, we might be forced to limit the website for a longer period. The only downside of this is that the header of the website is not properly loaded now.
Anyway, please feel free to contact the plugin vendor for further assistance on the matter.

I’m working for a very large news site, which I can’t interrupt, so I chose the solution to make a copy on another domain, in order to modify its first page template. The problem is that it would take several hours to transfer it back completely. Couldn’t just save and load the new page template after I finish it?
I mention that I tried to work directly on the site using preview from time to time, although it’s scary, but at some point the changes are not saved. That’s why I chose the solution of a draft.
