Hi,
Yes it should work properly.
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Please also check your memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thank you!
Hello Glenn,
Notice that problem could have more reasons and not necessarily guilty is our theme. First of all, you should check the minimum requirements which are recommended for your dedicated server, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Also, check your system status parameters to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Please follow this topic for more details as to why this happens:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/high-processor-usage-by-admin-ajax-and-index-php/
Let us know if you have any further issues with CPU usage
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Then check memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Also you can ask the server for any blocked content from our server. Sometimes demos cannot install because of host firewalls blocking them.
Thanks
Hi,
Yes, it is possible with the offset feature: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thanks.
Hello,
The main reasons for a high cpu usage has always been Visual composer. That is why in our current theme version we launched our own page builder/front-end editor which is much lighter on the cpu. Lots of complex elements in visual composer quickly increase the cpu usage. Try to update your theme to the latest version but keep in mind you will have to re-create your pages using the new page builder as keeping both plugins active at the same time will not work properly, neither will editing a page with the new page builder which was previously created with visual composer.
Also you after you update you can increse the php version to 7.1 and check the proper memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
I hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hi,
Please check the theme system status section and see if the parameters are set according to this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Insufficient PHP memory can be the cause for the theme panel saving issues. Make sure that the WordPress and server parameters are as recommended, and then check if the problem is solved.
Thanks
Hello tbegal,
Please check your system status parameters to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
hi,
I have a problem to edit page in the tag div composer. When I select to edit with TDC page is loading only, I checked system status and changed parameters as needed.
I need to extend big grid into full screen.
Any idea how to fix it, please?
http://letsitsimply.com/
thank you
probably need to be way more specific?
a) check system status to see if timeout issue or not enough memory
b) what are you trying to do exactly — what do you expect, what actually happens?
c) did you check your plugins to see if a conflict, such as jetpack?
d) did you adjust any caching or CDN setting while building pages, like turning that off to see if the issue?
I don’t work here; just feedback. Works for me.
Hi,
Please check the theme system status section and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://www.screencast.com/t/0W836PyW
These server and WordPress files should have the recommended values for the proper functionality of the theme. If you cannot make these modifications, you could ask your hosting to do them for you if possible.
Thanks
Hi,
This is most likely related to the theme system status. The server and WordPress parameters mentioned in this guide need to be as recommended for the best functionality of the theme
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
It is a requirement of the theme. There are functions require those parameters as specified. Installing demos is one of them.
If you cannot edit the files, there has to be someone from the hosting that should have access and can help you.
Thanks
Hi,
It could be a conflict between the composer and other plugins. Try deactivating all other plugins, clear any caching installed and then activate the tagDiv composer. Switch to the main theme if you have a child theme, to rule this out as well.
Also check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Please let us know if the error is still present.
Thanks
Hello. I purchased your theme and I tried to install a demo (only settings) when I got this error:
Ajax error. Cannot connect to server, it may be due to a misconfiguration on the server.
textStatus: parsererror td
ajax_request_name: no_content_install_demo
errorThrown: SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0
responseText: <br /> <b>Warning</b>: array_keysO expects parameter 1 to be array, boolean given in <b>/membri/laterzaopzione/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-upgrader.php</b> on line <b>476</b> <br i=”” /> 0
The theme doesn’t install the settings so I tried with different demos and I didn’t get this message, but it wouldn’t work anyway.
I tried to start a page from scratch, but the “Edit with TD Composer” link at the top of the screen doesn’t appear. After a few times with installing demos I finally got acces to the TD Composer, so I tried again to install a demo (only settings): all the previous settings disappeared (and didn’t return when I unistalled) and so did the “Edit with TD Composer” link.
I had asked on the forum about this issue and you told me to clear the cache and deactivate all my plugins. I did, but it didn’t solve the problem.
On the System Status page I have a yellow mark on max_execution_time, it says:
30 – the execution time should be bigger than 60 if you plan to use the demos. To see how you can change this please check our guide here.
I don’t have access to wp_config since I don’t have my own domain but a free hosting. What can I do?
This isn’t the first time I purchased a theme, but it’s the first I have problem with. The others worked just fine even if I only have a blog on a free hosting site.
I hope we can find a solution because I really like your theme and I was looking forward to use it on my blog.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide if necessary
– https://www.screencast.com/t/X6fxKWYivbqM
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Then try to edit the page and see if it is working as expected. Also this could be caused by a plugin that you are using. You can try to deactivate all of them except the composer, clear any caching installed and see if this has any effect.
Please let us know if you still have a problem using the editor.
Thanks
Hello Maui,

Thanks for your understanding!
Under System Status it states;
‘v4.7 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: td-composer/td-composer.php’
I have already deleted and reinstalled the plugin multiple times.

Hi,
It is recommended that the value for that parameter to be as specified in this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
The guide also mentions how you can increase it.
Thanks
Hello ewebie,
It seems to be a strange problem which might be caused by your bad installing. Try to make a new clean install from scratch, via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Clear all the caches and check the results. Also, check your system status to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello nugget,
First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest theme version and then check your system status parameters to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Most likely, you PHP memory has exhausted and that’s why you cannot save anything.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
I have also made all the changes mentioned here https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and still nothing.
Hello,
@thesussexrag, notice that with TD Composer you cannot edit a category page, sorry but I do not know where exactly did you see this, sorry! Notice that our page builder was fully tested and seems to work as expected if it was right installed according to our documentation. Provide more screenshots with your problem so I can identify it if you have something like this.
@shaker, ensure that you are using the latest theme version which comes bundled with the theme packet and also, checks your WP version to be the latest one. Also, check your system status parameters to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Hope this helps!
