Hello arolee,
Ensure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way and also, check the system status parameters to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ If the problem is still there, you should provide some useful screenshots with the issues so I can try to identify it at your website. Also, if you need more assistance in this regard, you should send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Very important is to use only our tested plugins. Hi,
Please check the theme system status section, and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You can ask your hosting provider to make these modifications for you, as they may have a recommended method for it.
Thanks
Nothing shows up when I edit a newly created page. The option to “ADD ELEMENT” appears on the left side. The right side is blank. Nothing happens when I add a block.
Came across a post that required to update the php.ini
WTF? Just bought this and I have to hack wordpress to make it work?
Hi,
I have edited the topic title, please do not post or use sensitive information on the forum. The forum is public, for everyone to see.
We have not made any tests for functionality in those conditions. Basically these are the theme requirements needed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
And these settings for the server and WordPress parameters
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
The theme should function if these requirements are as mentioned. Here are some installation guides as well
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
Thanks
Hi,
No, it does not seem to be the page complexity the case here.
I might check the plugins as they can cause this kind of issues as well. Try to disable all plugins except the page builder and clear all caching. Then test again and see if the load is the same.
Please also make sure you meet the requirements for the theme:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Test again after everything is in check .
Thanks.

Hello
We want to install the machine in AWS of Amazon and we have problems with the load of the template, in elements like the tag div composer …
In the system status of newspaper, says that in the section of URPHP.ini configuration:
Server Software: Nginx/1.10.3
PHP Version: 7.1.6
Post_max_size: 200 m-You cannot upload images, themes and plugins that have a size bigger than this value. To see how you can change this please check our guide here.
Max_execution_time: 300
Max_input_vars: 5000
Suhosin installed: false
Mbstring: Not Available
Can it be security clearance issues?
Thank you
Jc
Hi,
I have tried the text element that you mention and it is working properly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2LtzTMAPgNS1
It should work as intended for you as well. Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Then try the text with title element again.
Thanks
Hello Mako,
Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you mean and what you are referring to. Please notice that our theme does not have any such an option to restrict you some elements, sorry! Notice that you can use TD Composer which is our recommended page builder and Visual Composer which is an optional plugin. First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest theme version, check your system status parameters to be right increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and then, clear all the caches and check the results.
If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello shaker,
Notice that problem could have more reasons and not necessarily guilty is our theme. Hello geospatialmedia,
Please ensure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way and then, check your system status parameters to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ If you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just to active only required plugins that check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Yes, there are supposed to be pictures in your install. They will be present in the media library when imported.
The main reasons for a demo not being installed properly are as follows:
1) memory allocation: please make sure you follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
2) mbstring – Make sure you have it active on your host: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6658561/how-to-enable-mbstring-from-php-ini depending on host you can contact your host provider to ask about mbstring activation as some have restricted access to php extensions.
3) plugins – Please try to disable all plugins and clear all caching before attempting to install a demo.
I hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hello, we are getting a message in the System Status as below:
Speed Booster – v4.7 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: advanced-ads-pro/advanced-ads-pro.php
This is the plugin that it is conflicting with https://wpadvancedads.com/add-ons/advanced-ads-pro/
Can you help us know, how can we know what is the exact problem that is causing this error?
I have eliminated the issue down to strangely enough, the “Newspaper” theme.
I can enable td_composer with standard wp theme, but it seems to have this redirect issue when logging into dashboard or login page only when “Newspaper” theme is installed.
Again, all plugins disabled using default .htaccess and wp-config.php files.
I’m running on a dedicated server with cPanel and CloudLinux installed. All systems go in Newspaper’s System Status in theme panel.
Question… could there have a been a theme update in the past 10 months that would have made a database change? I deleted entire “Newspaper” directory and re-uploaded new folder with version 8.
I have nothing else to eliminate. Or do I? Maybe I can reupload a fresh wordpress install.
What should I do?
Hey!
First of all, I want to thank you for this awesome theme. I have been using it since version 5 for different websites.
Now, for this version 8, I have the following issue: I cannot SAVE DEFAULTs in Theme Panel.
– For example, in the FOOTER section, I can save Style 2 to 14 as Footer Template, but not Style 1. I also cannot SHOW FOOTER anymore, because I deactivated before.
– Another example: BLOCK SETTINGS > BLOCK HEADER TEMPLATE. I can SAVE any Block Header (2 to 17), but NOT Block Header 1 Default.
I checked the System Status, I made all the Settings you suggested in WPConfig and htaccess.
What should I do?
Thank you!
Hi,
If the theme system status parameters are not according to the guide, then this may still be the cause. You can ask your hosting provider to help you, and make the modifications for you if possible. The server may also have a recommended method in this regard, so it would be better to ask the host for advice.
After making these changes it should work properly. If it does not and you still have a problem using Visual composer, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic in your email.
Thanks
I just bought Newspaper8 theme for our HP.
I tried to add google adsense for Header AD
https://goo.gl/photos/rPC1P9rN222ewpeY7
I input a google adsense code and click save-settings
https://goo.gl/photos/2aH3HZ1khcxfM5p8A
and as you can see, never ending waiting signal pops up.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
If your theme panel cannot save the modifications, please check the system status screen and increase your memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Also try to disable the plugins as they can cause this issue as well. Make sure you clear cache afterwards though.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
like you said, I increased memory allocation, and disabled pugins.
but still can not move foward.
Please help.
@Simion
The system status is fine.We have memory limit set to 256M so that for sure isn’t the problem. The thing is, the website is working for mounth and we never had this issue before, until we wanted to change the facebook page link…that’s when we’ve noticed the theme options can’t be saved!
I’m an experienced programmer with 10 years of experience in more then 10 programming languages, so if i can do something in the code that will help, please guide me where to start looking for a solution.
I’ve tried to change the facebook page from mysql database manually in wp_options table.Turned out it was a bad idea :))
Ended up importing the table from one of our backups!
I’m having no luck getting td_composer plugin to work on my site.
Problem: Once plugin is activated, I can’t access backend of my site – page just won’t load. After pages stalls, I can’t access any pages on my site frontend or backend until I delete td_composer, clear cache, and completely restart browser.
Could this have something to do with it being a multi site install of wordpress? I very much want to transition to the new composer, but after two days of trying everything already suggested, I don’t know how much more time and energy I can expend.
Steps taken:
Please help! Can I send login credentials?
Hi,
I have the same issue as qualitysupplier and I cannot solve the issue in any way. I checked the PHP memory and the system status and everything seems ok.
Can I do anything else?
Thank you!
Hi,
First please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Then check if the composer is loading properly. If it still does not work, try deactivating all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed and check again.
Please let us know if you are still having problems after trying these suggestions.
Thanks
