Notice that our theme does not have any such an option that offers you a way to display the Latest Updated Posts, but only the latest posts which are published. To do this, you can use a block in your sidebar, setup with the latest sorting and there you will bring all latest posts (published). If you want to display a new level in our theme, regarding latest updated posts sorting, you should implement it yourself, using your coding skills because we cannot provide additional customizations in this regard, sorry!

Yes, if I add another video, the video image does not get generated. It appears the video image only gets generated in the beginning, on post creation, not when you edit or update the post later.

There is no license issue. You probably see the activation message from the Visual composer. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ Please notice that this type of plugin come bundled with the theme packet and it is not necessary to buy any license for it.

Many thanks for your reply regarding my website and the issue I am having with the pages not updating. I really appreciate your time and for sending me a couple of possible solutions.
Since your response I have followed your suggestions and set the relevant settings in WP Super Cache. I have also contacted my hosting company (BlueHost) and they have deleted an advanced cache file at their end.
Unfortunately the pages are still not updating though. As mentioned before the only page to consistently update is the home page but the other pages and categories are not. The strange thing is, when I log in to my WP site, the pages will update when I press refresh button however they will not update when I am not logged in.
Can you suggest any other solutions please Bogdan? I really need to find a solution to this as it is seriously hampering my start up online business.

we got a score in the upper 80’s and 90’s until a couple of weeks ago since google changed their algorithm. All of the theme’s and site’s page speed has dropped since. Try to test a few more popular themes and you will see page speed has dropped drastically for everybody. We will work on it and make the proper adjustments in the next theme update. The speed is the same. The google speed score is not.

You will be able to use the child theme but only if you update it and make the necessary adjustments for future updates. A child theme is never update proof. If you alter functions.php and style.css those are files that are constantly changed in each update. They will have to be adjusted and your modifications tested with the new version each time. Please test without the child theme. Disable it for testing and see if the problem goes away without it.

Please make sure to update the social counter aswell as all the other plugins found in the theme package downloaded from theme forest – http://www.screencast.com/t/0r883t9N – to the latest version. First of all, please ensure that you have respected our list of requirements for our product, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Also, try to update the theme to the latest version of it and also, all the required plugins which come bundled with the theme, clear all your caches and test it again. Basically, the latest Fatal error is happening due old version of Visual Composer. Try to update it and check the results.

I just purchased the theme Newspaper 7 from themeforest and it appears that a licence for visual composer did not come with it. I get the message:

How would I go about activating this product? I was able to activate Newspaper 7.

I used that custom CSS to make my article title’s color on hover turn to red, however I recently changed my homepage slightly, adding an ad unit in the middle. For some reason, the hover style does not work for the top four articles now (http://justfreshkicks.com/). Is there an update, addition or change to the CSS code I need to use? Thanks!

I have moved my site from http to https and I have noticed that I am unable to access the admin area when I login using the theme login pop up box. I can see that I am already logged-in but I can’t access the admin area, when trying to access it from the admin top bar. Also, I was unable to edit posts directly from the home page or admin top bar.
This is the message I kept getting: You must log in to access this area.
Interestingly though, if I login to the site using wp-login.php e.g https://www.website.com/wp-login-php , I can access the admin area from the top bar, edit posts from the home page, and everything seems to work fine. I have checked everything, all permalinks, settings, plugins look as they should be. The only thing that I am thinking of might be the login pop up box, it could be the issue when the site uses secure SSL.
When I reverted back to none secure access via http:// everything works fine.
I hope you can investigate the above issue and see if you encounter the same the issue when using a secure (SSl) connection. Please let me know if there is anything I need to do to get this issue solved and start using secure connection for the site.
Other findings I would like to share with you.
After moving the site to a secure connection, I have noticed that the site was really sluggish and slow, so maybe, that is some you can consider in your future updates, and make the theme faster in secure and none secure environments. I think you have done a fantastic job with the super-fast mobile theme and I hope you can do the same with the desktop version too.

For some reason I can’t create a new post for support so I am posting in hopes to get some support here. I havent been able to figure out how to do any automatic updates for the theme NewsMag that I purchased and frankly, I am a little worried about overwriting anything. I am now experiencing this error – “Your session has expired. Please log in to continue where you left off.”
It keeps login me out every 30 seconds or so. I have run a virus scan on the server and it was fine so I assume its the template or a new plugin that I may have installed. Just checking in on that.
Also need to know how to shut off the popup.

Actually I was able to correct this. It is an error in
includes/wp_booster/td_login.php
Line 100: which is
$key_hash = $wp_hasher->HashPassword( $key );
Needs to be updated to
$key_hash = time() . ':' . $wp_hasher->HashPassword( $key );
After this fix, the password reset links now work properly.
update: I’ve found the way to remove the logo for the mobile theme.
Update/Cache Issue:
just now I’ve noticed that it isn’t happening when I reload the website in the same web browser. but on the other browsers (in which I haven’t logged in to the WordPress) it isn’t updating the changes until I clear the cache.
I’ve upgraded to WP 4.7 but I’m cautious about upgrading Newspaper from 7.1.1 (May 2016) to the current 7.6 because I notice there is a need to update Visual Composer.
I noticed that the TagDiv Social Media Counter is no longer working on my site at all so I hope to upgrade to restore this functionality.
Is there anything I need to be aware of before I attempt an upgrade?

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.6) and Social Counter 4.1, otherwise, please try to update them only via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, please ensure that you have right set your Social Facebook Counter according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/ Try to clear all your caches and test it again and see how it will work.
