Hi, i want to update my site for EU cookie policy. I read that there are a lot of plugin that do this work for me by creating a banner with info. I also read that there is a problem with google analitycs code that get ip address of visitor and i wnat to do this anonimously, How can i do ? Sorry for my english
Just updated from WP version 4.2.5 to 4.3.1 and recognized that the featured image won’t be cropped anymore. We are using Newspaper 4 – an upgrade can’t be done because of design changes at version 6.
We’re in the same boat – though twitter works, but Facebook does not. We are using version 2.9 of TagDiv social counter and 2.3.2 of Newsmag. The facebook count issue was there before and after the update to 2.3.2 from 2.3.1…

I’m trying to set up a child theme.
At first I’ve updated the main theme. And then uploaded and activated child theme.
I need to change next file /Newsmag-child/includes/wp_booster/td_module.php
And any changes in it doesn’t work.
But if do the same in main theme file /Newsmag/includes/wp_booster/td_module.php
It works.
I’ve checked the structure of folders a few times and it’s correct
What’s the problem?
Updated the theme today and found that the div .td-footer-wrapper is overlaying the whole article on individual posts.
I’ve made it transparent for now just so the article is visible, but if anyone can advise on what needs to be fixed I’d be grateful. Thanks.

Custom Ad 1 is the one with the issue. I just used a different custom ad for the banner and it works fine. I don’t know why all of a sudden it just did that after update.
I just update to the latest v2.3.2 and the banner on top now shows twice. Never did that before and does not show like that on other pages I have it on. I don’t know how to make it show just once and I don’t have the code in the placement twice. I tried uninstalling visual composer to see if it was a problem with that but after reinstalling it did nothing to fix it. It is just the homepage top banner that does it.
Do you have any clues what it would be?

I truly hope you get rid of this in the next update. It’s a terrible feature IMHO. Or at least put in dashboard for on/off. I can’t help but think Google will punish us for this.. Why risk it… Plus it’s unsightly….Please be so kind as to dump it.

Is there a fix in the works to allow me to update the newspaper theme using the envato toolkit? I can wait for that if there is one coming.
Regarding the wordpress theme update, if I switch themes, delete the newspaper theme then upload the updated version, will I lose all of my settings for the site and have to start over with everything I’ve done? I get that I won’t lose my postings (2000 or so).

I got a notification from Themeforest that a new update is available for Newspaper Theme but I cannot find it in my downloads. I tried to update the theme through my panel but it is not possible either. What I see is: Newspaper 4 settings not found in database! td_008 – not found. I`m using 6.5.1 version. Is that the latest?

No new plugins were installed before the update.
However, I disabled BWP Minify’s auto-minify for JS option – and it is now fixed.
This is of course not desirable, I guess this is something to do with new Java implementation of yours.
Which JS component should we ignore to overcome this issue, instead of disabling all minification?
Hello, When i share my posts on G+ Page, it pick a very small and wrong thumbnails.
I have solved this problem by disabling all Mega Menu. Can you please find a solution for this problem in next update?

Please make sure that you have the theme installed right, I have tested this using the latest theme version but could not recreate this error so I suspect this issue is specific to your site’s configuration.
Please sure you have installed the theme right and use the ftp method from theme’s update guide to upload theme’s files and remove the previous theme files before uploading the most recent ones then test this again and let us know how it goes. Please make sure you update the plugins as well. Disable your plugins and delete the files either from wp or by FTP access. Then install the plugin versions that come with the theme from here: http://screencast.com/t/WNNYfHh6
If all else fails, please try to do a fresh install of your theme via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ (do a back-up beforehand)

The “Latest” sort method is not sufficient. I need a “Latest” by “Published Date” as i run a big news website and i have articles that are written now, but are scheduled to be published in the future. Unfortunately when the time to be published comes, they are not “Latest” and do not show at the blocks (because based on “Latest” and because they were originally written in the past they are not at the top). I hope you can understand what i’m saying :/
Is there a way to bypass “Latest” for now? I have no problem on modifying php code, i guess i need to find your function that builds the query and wherever it gets a “sort” as “Latest” i should add a sorting by post publish date or something? (and maybe add an index at db for that column)
So i hope at least to find a temporary solution for now.:
1) Please, just save me some time and tell me where to start looking at the code so i can tamper the query building, i can handle the rest trust me.
2) Please add this sorting method to a future update so everyone can use this. i’m sure people will use this.
