It is showing the last updated date now but Google is not displaying it correctly. I published a post today and when it is indexed by Google, it says 2 days ago. How can I fix it?

try to delete visual composer, tag div plugins folders, theme folder, and install the new versions from scratch; don’t use child theme; try using my upgrade guide.

I successfully removed the lines on the single post page by changing the color to white, except for the line on the right; I couldn’t find the css class for it: http://tinypic.com/r/dwz0r8/8

Secondly, how do I get rid of the single post page pinterest social icon and replace it with an email icon so visitors can share posts via email?

I put some codes in the custom css section under the theme panel; will the recent theme update remove the codes? Do I need to copy it somewhere before making the theme update?

I am not having this issue; I’m using latest Chrome on Win7/64, which for me seems to work best with the theme management in general. I just updated all my ad blocks with updated color schema from AdSense so the text ads would look better. No problem at all in v1.6 or v1.7 (so far).

Try clearing all your caches, on website *and* in your web browser. Stupid, I know, but that always seems to be the culprit (well, not always, but often…).

I had to revert back to v1.4 which works great, but i’ve spent 3 hours trying to work it out. Needless to say, I am quite disappointed in how the update process doesn’t work :-/

I have:
– updated theme to 1.7.
– updated all plugins coming with download package (including td social counter plugin)
– disabled all plugins, and all except JS Composer,

but, the issue persist.

I’m using a child theme (newsmag child theme) and when I updated to 1.7 I also got that very same issue..Even when I disabled all plugins same issue. I removed the search altogether following a tut I saw on here from the response to another poster, but I’ll go try this instead, since having a search bar is still needed for my site..Hoping future updates won’t be so wonky anymore..

I also experienced the same problem, hopefully tagdiv team provide updates… hehe

Likely one of the plugins wasn’t updated for WP 4.1 or is doing something funky like re-loading jquery a second time, or using a style class used elsewhere.

Often checking the support forum for each plugin on wordpress.org is a good indicator if something amiss with the plugin.

I had a custom plugin to do related posts on sidebar — but it won’t work with any modern theme at all; works with Woo Canvas and some old stuff, but nothing current. So, obviously not a theme issue — but generally a plugin that doesn’t “play well” with others in how it does a query, like not resetting its query after doing one, etc.

Not sure if that helped – just a comment.

I completely agree, this is a TEMP fix until tagdiv gets their shit together.

I have dozens of themes, I keep them all updated. I don’t have problems with ANY of them, just this one from tagdiv. We expect better, your themes are nice, you have good sales numbers, but there are serious problems in your QA, professional theme companies don’t have problems like this as often as this theme has.

thanks to @ineedsolutions, gave an alternative, but should not be the solution via Custom CSS, should improve their updates
I am seriously considering, leaving newsmag as each upgrade, problems, incompatibilities with some plugins as wp-rocket, wpml swtich, should not be problem for a theme premium 🙁

I use wp rocket, same issue breaking my site. Second issue with this crap update today. I will think long and hard before updating this theme ever again.

You guys have the worst track record for theme updates. It’s never smooth and very frustrating.

I get this notice in my wp-admin and across the whole site: “Please update your [tagDiv social counter] Plugin!” Also need to reinstall stuff?

New update also worked here.

Could you please enlighten us, what the problem was.
