I’ve since solved the problem myself. I changed the featured image size from the default (696×0) to 1068×580. This immediately resulted in a sharper image. However, I could literally see the difference. We use 1920×1080 images by default, but if you set them to the default size, they become grainy and blurry.
One other thing: in the documentation, I see that if you want to use the TagDiv slide gallery, you have to insert it via the classic editor. I find this very convenient, and I’d like to see (and many others agree) that the slide gallery is also available when using Gutenberg. Could you implement this in an update?
Hello, we have a fully updated wordpress with newspapper theme.
When we enter an post like:

single_featured_image is displayed correctly.
When though we scroll down and next posts appear, images both in desktop and mobile are not displayed correctly.
In desktop image is like floated right and not in same height as the first image. In mobile image is displayed inside red background element, shgould be visible after that.
Template is single post in tagdiv.

I am changing over to a different Google Adsense account. I have made the update to my theme panel, but it is not updating it on my site. I have cleared the cache, the theme panel shows the new account, I’ve added the proper ads.txt but it still is showing from the old account.

Indeed, the siblings were working like that in previous theme versions 12.6.9, but since the last version, there have been some updates on the siblings and that functionality has been changed. I asked a developer to review it and provide a solution for this situation.

Additionally, the CWV will be updated only after some time, typically taking around 28 days.

Is there any way to improve this in a future update? I think the styles defined by an author should override what’s configured in the cloud template.
Alternatively, what would you recommend as a workaround? For example, if I want posts in a certain category to have post content font size 17 and block quote font size 18, how would I be able to configure that and still allow authors to apply their own stylings within a post?

I have a regular license key for the newspaper. I installed and activated it on a texting domain previously. Now, they are giving me a one-month time. Can I not use the same regular license on a different domain? This cannot be reset either. If not, is there an updated version that can be used on multiple domains?

We are using 8.3 here; just avoid 8.4x for now.
8.3 is kinda the modern “final” version of PHP 8 vs the earlier development versions. So, 8.3 will kinda be the standard php version for some time. Also, 7.4x still works, WP is just trying to push people to update due to 7.4 being a bit like Windows 10 now.
However: some ooooold plugins might not work with php 8. So, be aware of that potential issue, and perhaps go check on any third party plugins being compatible with php 8.

If you want to do this in the theme files you need to edit each module you want to display the categories and the problem is that those files for modules can not be set in a child theme so any update in them will be lost when the theme will be updated. I’m not sure if those can by override, maybe there is a solution, but when the theme is updated if there are some changes to blocks/modules and the files are override you can face problems like broken pages, site layout …

You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
Along with this, I have noticed that I am unable to remove empty spaces/gaps that appear between columns or rows on the page. These unwanted spaces affect the layout and design, and no matter what I try, they persist.
I have attempted undo operations, cleared caches, checked for incorrect shortcodes or HTML, and updated the theme and plugin, but the problem still remains unresolved.

What is my best way to add a list to a section of a page that will pull from all posts with a specific category?
Basically it is a list of podcast episodes that are tagged with “Podcast” and I need it to put and update when new ones are added but also lists all previous episodes, below some subscribe buttons on that specific page.
