Dear Vlad, I have extended the support a few days ago until August 2021 in expectation that the CLS will be solved in the next update. But now it is clear that this will not happen and further it is unclear when all issues will be solved. On this account I want my money back for the extended support (about 30 Dollar). I think this would be fair. You advertise the theme that it passes the Page Speed Insights Test, but in reality this doesn’t happen. I rely on a good ranking in Google and I can’t wait anymore.

make sure that you use the latest Newsmag theme version, 4.9.6 also when you update the php version try to update it to php7.3 but not v8.

Hi,\Before the theme update, please make a full backup to your website and database, then disable all non theme plugins, child theme if you use and make the theme update as in our guide from here https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ use the method B, also please do not overwrite the old files, delete theme, after that install the new version.

For the moment our developers are working to make some update to improve the theme for CLS and accessibility, therefore I thing that this update will not provide the compatibility with php 8, but this is on our list of compatibility.

OK, thank you. I have tried WPML and so far it seems its compatible with Newspaper and everything working.
BTW coincidentally there is similar question currently being asked in forum: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/error-after-update-5/ with conclusion WPML and Newspaper are not compatible. There may be a problem with the WPML version, because lowest one (29 USD) does not include page builders support. I bought CMS version for 79 USD.
Unfortunately this is the main issue since the last Google Chrome Update in January.

So life got in the way and now I am looking to build my website properly. I bought Newspaper Theme back in 2014ish and it is version 7. Now it is version 10 but can’t see anyway to update. Any ideas please?
UPDATE:
I tried a couple more things in the settings and came up with this:
Container width – 1166px
Content width – 100%
Height – auto
Padding – 22
Offset – 0
Position – Relative to screen
Horizontal align – center
And now it looks okay – in MY browser, Chrome on a MacBook.
Was this this the right way to achieve it in Newspaper theme? Surely more people will have this problem. This works for me now. Hopefully it will display nicely in other browsers and on other (bigger, smaller, other operating system) computers.
I´m starting to wonder what kind of crap this NewsPaper website is. I have used several tools for creating websites for years. Never any big issues have arisen from those. But this Newspaper theme tool have been nothing but issues from literally day 1. With images-section not appearing, content-sections not visible and today the complete website frontpage got deleted. I updated a menu with the tool and was fronted with a big red “ERROR” popup from the Newspaper tool. It says content do not match.
Now the Newspaper tool went on and deleted my complete frontpage of the website. What is this crap of a tool? All settings for WP and my server side settings are green to use with this NewsPaper theme. No issues there. It´s the NewsPaper Theme Tool that is completely buggy.
What a let down this product was.

The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

I bought the last version and updated it.
The top appears ok, but the homepage blocks arer replicated and in the middle includes any page i create in “pages” section of wordpress as you can see. The error if i try to edit it is:
“Errors at columns elements: 2(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”

I saw that you installed the latest version of WordPress 5.6.1 and normally only the latest version of the theme was tested, v10.3.9.1 .
If you want you can try the latest version of the theme (before to make update please make a full backup to all files and the database) and see if the problem persists.
Also, if after the update there is still that problem and you are agreed to send us – WP admin link and credentials at contact@tagdiv.com (please make a full backup before sending the email).
