@kennytran We recommend to use the tagDiv composer with the theme. If you are asking if we tested our composer with other page builders, we have not.
Our page builder will receive more features in coming updates. Also if you want to use the cloud library plugin to benefit from the cloud templates, these will only work with the tagDiv composer

I lost the link of the latest version of Newspaper that Envato sent me. I went to my Envato account and downloaded the theme. Actually, I have Newspaper 9. Is that right?

Please update the theme to the latest version of it which is 9.1 because the column text encoding issues have been resolved. Notice that you need to remove the old “\” because the theme will not automatically remove them.

That might happen, the theme will first load it’s initial default fonts

So for example the transition between the fonts would be visible if the website loads slower sometimes.
We added an option is update 8.7.5 to disable Google fonts, so users can load and display their own fonts only

Then the theme will not load the default fonts and only user uploaded fonts will be used.
If you use an older version then that this setting will not be available.

We just updated the theme a week ago and we are facing a new issue.
Whenever we push out a new article/story, the home page/front page does not get refreshed. This is something we are facing suddenly. Earlier when we used to push it out the front page used to get refreshed on its own. Could it be a cache issue? We clear cache every time but the front page does not get refreshed on its own on Dekstop and mobile.
We have to physically either press F5 or hit the refresh button on the browser only then we see the new article on the home page.
We are using Autoptimize, wp-rocket plugins as well as cloudeflare CDN. Website: http://www.gadgetbridge.com

It actually did recur. Just done a random check and the templates had reset (not sure for how long, coz they reset after latest theme update and I set them again).
I’m not sure I get. Do you mean edit css from “/wp-admin/theme-editor.php”? In that case as I said before I’ve already did all the changes on my child theme style.css Or maybe you mean “site/wp-admin/customize.php”? In that case it don’t seem to be set there.
At the moment it works only choosing “Open Sans” from Newspaper Theme Panel, but I’d like to choose my favourite font once for all instead of Roboto or at least understand where that font come from.

Usually, after last updates you can have both composer activate at the same time, and everything work just perfect.

We are aware of the decreasing performance in the theme. There are plans to optimize the theme in the coming updates. There will be somewhat major modifications made which will have a direct impact on performance.
After the previous theme updates we have reached the point where these modifications will be possible to implement.

We made some testing and it seems to be an issue. It will count the number of paragraphs set in the theme panel, but if there is a heading for example after the second paragraph as in this case, the ad will appear after the heading.
We came up with a solution which I believe will end up as the final solution in this matter. It will be included in the next theme update.
Until then, to solve the issue please access the theme files by FTP or the WordPress editor and open this file

All you do was to activate the both composers and your website was broken?, or you try to edit the same page with both composers? ( this will broke your website ).
Yes, I currently made the complete website in Visual Composer and had TagDiv deactivated. In the past when there was a theme update TagDiv Composer would automatically be activated and I had to deactivate it, because my website was completely fucked up. I still have this problem although no page has been edited with both page builders.
Please provide some screenshots or a link were I can see the problem, in this way I’ll be able to give you the proper answer.

Seems like the system status is okay.
The new version from Ultimate GDPR version 1.6.7 does not give the problem anymore. I discovered this plugin had to be updated only by deactiving and reactivating it.

Mmm. I found out.
I use this plugin, Ultimate GPRD, which causes the problem. Very happy with that. Cost a lot of time to get this compliance thing online and active, and now, I probably have to chance.

Tests are being made and will be made to ensure that there will be no problem with the new WordPress update and it’s editor.
If by chance something is overlooked or various issues will be identified after the release, we will fix them as soon as possible.
Most often it’s a bug with Yoast, hence the barrage of 10 updates a month for bug fixes. Often good to keep prior versions to roll back, which we’ve had to do a few times. We’re leaving Yoast behind for 2019 because of this.
