That is not malware. The images are placeholders for the td multipurpose plugin which has now been merged with td composer. The images cannot be deleted and that’s why they recur after you delete. The Tagdiv team says they will provide an option to disable the images in the next update.
Just updated and getting a gray page when trying to edit homepage with TagDiv composer. Have updated TD composer plugin.
Saw this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/ – but honestly I have no idea how to do that.
Do I need to revert back to 8.5 or is there another fix?

There are currently some issues with the Twitter counter, it will not count anymore. We provide an updated social counter plugin. Deactivate the one you currently use and install this one

Generally best to update via FTP as you can make backup of site at same time (which you should *always* do prior to any upgrade!!). The Envato plugin sometimes fails to update everything properly, in my own experience. This can cause stuff to break.
Sorry that doesn’t help. But FTP always best way to install stuff with WordPress like theme upgrades, as you need to also update any plugins as well.

I’m having trouble getting any of my previously built tagdiv composer shortcodes to Save correctly when building pages. The shortcodes will appear to load in tagdiv composer and tagdiv composer even confirms as saved when I click save, but the shortcodes WILL NOT save.
Is this a known bug in the latest update??

I updated the theme on 24th after a couple of months.
I am now seeing the author is a missing error on structured data. The live data test says that there are no errors.
I am showing the author byline but the author box is disabled because it’s not needed.
Please help us fix the issues. Google removed us from Top Stories after this, and our traffic dropped drastically đ

Please notice that the Multipurpose plugin now it’s included in the latest version of the theme and is not needed to be installed. When you have updated the theme to the latest version of it (NP 8.7.5), the old Multi-Purpose plugin has been disabled and you should remove it. When you try to install it again, you will bring above error.

If it works without the child theme then the problem is there. That must mean that you are loading old theme files that were modified, and those modifications do not work with the latest theme. We include a list if modified files with each theme update

If you modified one or more of those files and it has also been modified by us in an update, there could be problems.
Try to remove files from the child theme one at a time while checking if this solves the problem. You must identify what the cause is. Also check code in the functions file of the child theme.

The plugin (despite being provided in the 8.7.5 package due to an oversight) is no longer required and will not be provided anymore. It has been merged with the tagDiv composer. So now the tagDiv composer includes all the multi-purpose features.

After a while, because some things stopped working because of old plugins, I downloaded newspaper files again and started delete plugins and upload new versions. Guys is there really no way to do it little bit more easily automatically, do we really need to update them manually after every newspaper update? Anyway when I started upload these plugins I noticed new things like tagDiv Multi-Purpose plugin, what’s that? what it does? Where I can find information about it, what exactly is that plugin purpose, do I need it or not? Tried to google, but nothing came up.

I have update to the last version of the theme and the text of all my categories has dissapear.
In the backend the text is still in the description area, but it does not appear on the page.
Need to do something else?
