Same issue here as well. Twitter auto populates with the correct information, but Facebook, Instagram and Youtube show zero.
I have setup the plug in correctly, double check via your link above and I’ve just updated the theme, however it appears that the social counter plug in did not update. I understand you said to update it manually, could you please tell me where I can find the updated plug in.
I updated the theme today with the help of envato market toolkit and i tried to use the newsletter built-in element in the tag div composer and it doesn’t show me anything . I got this error in the section of inspect element (Uncaught TypeError: tdcSidebarPanel.addFontReset is not a function). Do you know how i can fix this?
likely a plugin issue then. update the TD Composer plugin. Hope that works – I’ve been using the theme for three years but I’m no expert đ
I’d also suggest get a clone page/post plugin and keep a backup of your homepage saved as a draft available in case you need to replace it in an emergency.
Indeed, some elements of the theme might be subject to change after an update. So is the theme stylesheet file. Custom code that worked previously may not work anymore, it will have to be examined and modified. There would be no solution for that.
You could keep a test site and first update the theme there, check what happens and make modifications to the code used if needed. The old code may simply not apply anymore.
This may be the case with having a child theme as well, where you modify a file. That file may be changed and the child theme modifications could cause problems.

I’m not an admin here but I’ve had a similar problem following other updates.
Try clicking “Edit with TD Composer” at the top of the homepage – that is if you built it the page with TD Composer – if not, then you need to.
If you did, then when in TD Composer you should see the problem or delete that block and reinsert it again.
If that doesn’t work make sure you have the latest TD Composer update.

I’m having some issues regarding the TD Composer. When I try to add a Block 4 in preview mode it works properly but as soon as I update and save the changes it breaks. I’ve added a screenshot so you can see what’s going on. I also tried to clear cache on server and browser but the error persists.
The second issue is when I try to set under Block 11 -> Filter -> Sort order -> Popular (last 7 days). It won’t show only the post from the last 7 days instead, it shows me posts from 2 months ago.

No, I did nothing to fix it and this is the strange part. I just woke up in the morning, opened the website and everything was fine.
My Firefox version is still 59.0.3
However, I have video cast which shows the problem we faced yesterday.

In any case, as a developer, I have to update the theme to the latest version.
I have made many customizations in WordPress “Add Custom CSS”.
However, when I updated the theme and pasted my CSS, the layout seems to recognize my CSS on same parts and ignores it to other.
I investigated further the case and I saw that you have change or added CSS classes.
So, my Custom CSS, even if it is pasted as it was, doesn’t work and I have to make the changes again.
This is a little bit frustrating since every time I will update the theme I would have to make many modifications to my CSS. And we are talking about 5000 lines of custom CSS… So, do you have any idea what should I do with this issue?

That would be unusual, the previous theme version 8.7.3 contained the Instagram issue fix. All the problems that were mentioned after updating were caused by a form of cache, CDN, even browser cache. We could take a look if you could provide a link to your website.

You could customize it directly in the Woocommerce stylesheet in the theme folder. Make a backup of the modified file and replace it after a theme update.
If the !important tag is used then you will have to create stronger code if possible, or remove the tag from the woocommerce stylesheet.

The flickering issue is related to Chrome recent update. If you try to edit your page using Firefox, it should be no issue.
However we release an update today and also this Chrome issue is fixed.
If you update the page from backend this notification may appear. It is just a notification and not a warning.

That is the only place it will appear, at the moment.
1. If you created page with WPBakery page builder (former Visual composer), these have to be recreated with the tagDiv composer if you want to use it. Do not edit pages built with one page builder with the other, this will cause problems.
The tagDiv composer will have more options in future theme updates and it will be integrated further with the theme. There will be options added for it that will not be available for the WPBakery page builder.
2. When active the WPBakery page builder will appear in these locations

If it does not for you, try removing it and install it again. Also as a general note, the theme system status should be set according to this guide for a better functionality

The latest version of the theme is Newsmag 4.3. So, the recommended way is to update the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. You should simply download the latest version of the theme from your Theme Forest account and then install it according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/ Before each theme installing, we recommend doing a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data.

Hello. Updated theme Newsmag to the latest version, good update, thank you for your work. But I have questions:
1. I see that the share buttons on post take a very long time to load, sometimes they are not displayed. This may be due to the blocking of Google Font in Russia? How can this be avoided?
In another version I made new buttons to share directly to the file td_module_single.php, now need to make changes to the file td_social_sharing.php. How to do this? To reduce the load I think to use the share buttons from Yandex https://tech.yandex.ru/share/.
2. I like block 14 (td_module_mx1.php), but I want to have 2 large pictures to show (resolution 509×300 as in the top level of the block .td_block_big_grid_4 .td-big-grid-post-0). How can I do that? I created my own Grid Builder, but this plugin doesn’t work well with categories and comments.

This code will not work on the homepage. All the tags on block modules have a predefined black color, while the hover will be the color you set for the block title background

Maybe there will be more options added for the category tags design in a future update, I believe it is added on our list.

I just updated my theme to the latest version (8.7.3) and now it’s not showing any Instagram photos even though it still has my account associated to it. Is there something else I need to do?
I also had style 13 footer selected but for some reason now it’s showing Find Us an a default address which it didn’t before (I don’t want that since I’m a blog and not a business) which it didn’t before.
