Hello and thanks for theme.
In default setting, on top page (after header section) there is a “Big Grid 3” (in demo theme homepage). I like to re-create this (same visual effect with one big box on left and 2 or 3 box on right) to use to insert code html (for scroller text, video player with iframe, and box for contact form).
I try using this code (i put single image to testing my row)
[vc_row content_placement="middle"][vc_column width="4/6"][vc_single_image image="134" img_size="medium"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/6"][vc_single_image image="122" img_size="full"][vc_single_image image="122" img_size="full"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
But i have problem that is not same as your demo. I have a lot of withe space and not all are align.
How can i do that?
Thanks
I already have updated my theme newspaper V7 and Visual composer 4.7, but when i want to use the visual composer Takes me to the website to pay for an update for 34 dollars

Could you guide me?¡
thanks in advance

Hello stax,
Please try to update your theme to the latest version of it which is Newspaper 7.5. Also, please make sure if you are using the latest version of required plugins which should be -> Visual Composer 4.12.1 and Social Counter 4.1. Do the theme update via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard, clear all your caches and check the results.
If your problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Also, provide there the link of this topic so we can easily identify you.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
If you have version 7.5 of the theme you can use the new authors block element in visual composer: http://screencast.com/t/tptcDXkLLY
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hello eddiecassidy6,
Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you mean through Window. You can customize your homepage as you wish using the Visual Composer, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about what you want to achieve, so I will be able to provide more details. Also, you can provide some useful screenshots for a better understanding.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Unfortunately the “more” tag is ignored by our theme blocks and modules. There is only a single module that can show the more tag, and that is module 15 that can be added on category pages, tag pages, and other templates that do not use visual composer. On posts it will not show up, sorry.
Thank you!
Hello,
Well 35 plugins is a lot to use. We only recommend using these plugins with our theme: http://screencast.com/t/vievSLGP25
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test images again.
You should remove any unnecessary plugins from your website. I know probably all of them are useful but they do more damage than help. Plugins are not usually written correctly and using more plugins you weaken your site security and functionality.
After you solve the plugins issue pleas euse this guide to make your site load faster: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thank you!
Hi,
Well unfortunately our theme does not have any such option neither desktop nor mobile. There is no option to add a custom block on all pages or posts at once especially on the mobile theme as the options are very limited on the plugin and it does not use visual composer. It will ignore any VC shortcode.
Thank you!
Hello marketvex,
This error seems to be caused by your unproperly installing. Please try to make a new clean install from scratch, without any untested plugins which can interact with the theme core and cause a lot of unknown issues and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, please ensure that you are using the latest version of Visual Composer which come bundled with the theme and which is VC 4.12.1. Please try to follow my advice and update/re-install the theme via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. For more information about this way, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
The plugin provides a message that a new version is available, yes, but it does not mean you HAVE to update. Please ignore the message as the latest version is not yet provided in the theme package. Please only use the version of visual composer we provide along with the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thank you!
Hello gibbo78,
I have inspected your website, and I saw that it is working fine now. Also, I have checked your console, and I saw that you have a lot of js errors which can damage the healthy functioning of the theme, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/l35folEE Also, I notice that you are using some untested plugins which can interfere with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. You should check all theme customizations because this type of problem which you presented above is not controlled by our theme, but only from your setup, even as the hosting provider explained you above.
If the problem is still there, you should try to make a new clean install via FTP only with required plugins and check the results. For more information about this method, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!

hello,
Please do not post your login information here as this is a public forum and other will be able to see them. Please disable all plugins except visual composer,clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test the registration again. i saw that you use many untested plugins so there is most likely a plugin conflict going on. Please also change your admin login to prevent any unwanted users accessing your site.

Hi,
Thanks Chris for your great help! You have the crown!
@tricell Most probably a plugin conflicts with the theme’s javascript and that’s why you get this issue with mobile menu. I suggest to disable all you plugins except Visual Composer, clear all you caches and purge your files if you use CDN and check again if it the issue persist. If it works please enable your plugins one by one and see which one cause this problem and disable it or try to find an alternative.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please check the guide “How to use Visual Composer” – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-use-visual-composer/ The tagDiv blocks were designed to be used only on blue highlighted columns. If you wan to use them in other types of columns you will custom modifications to adjust them.
Thanks!
Try disabling your cache plugin.
Also make sure you updated WP memory limit in the wp-config.php file.
Depending on server setup, make sure you set php memory limit to 1G (some systems prefer 1G vs 1000M); frankly 768M is plenty.
Consider moving from Visual Composer to the TD Composer beta (we did on all our news portals running Newsmag 3x).
Disable “related posts” “more from author” and “flyout” bottom right stuff. Try to use just ONE post module image size type in sidebar, vs multiple. Try only having ONE advert in side bar.
Seriously, all this stuff helps!
Regardless. Check the above options. Themes which use Visual Composer need much more RAM to function at all.
Hello,
The visual composer plugin can only be updated through the theme releases. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
As for the support we will provide it here on the forum. If there is a question that only they can answer, we will open a ticket ourselves at the plugin author’s site, but this was not the case in a long time.
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately, I do not know where this error occurs. I suspect your untested plugins which can interact with the theme core and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable the untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. You can try the code below and place it in Theme panel ->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-adspot-title {
background-color: white;
}
.vc_custom_1478337829203 {
background-color:white!important;
}
The result -> http://screencast.com/t/Wh1HP0oYg
Thanks for the message!
Hello Kundurnews,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you have many errors in your console, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/z8ZyxllV Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. If the problem is still there, please make a new clean install from scratch and install the theme via FTP method because this is the surest way in this regard. For more details, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ and here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/
Notice that this feature is fully compatible with our theme and seems to work as properly until now, as you can see in our demo preview, here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
The slider gallery works just fine on our end: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-aston-villa-beat-liverpool-to-join-arsenal-in-the-fa-cup-final/ If yours does not work like the on on our demo, then you probably have a js error affecting it. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test again. Also switch to the main theme if you use a child theme in order to rule out it;s interference. Please also disable any js optimization as well.
As for the second issue, it has since been fixed. You can access the forum now without any issues.
Thank you!
