Did you installed the demo successfully, without any errors? Please check this also without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this issue also provide a link so we can take a look.

I have checked this with the latest version of the theme 6.3 and seems to work better with Visual Composer row in row option – http://screencast.com/t/N4k5WCcry – http://screencast.com/t/iOVTU7BuXeC I asked the developer about this and we suggest to update to the latest version using this guide(make a full backup of your current theme installation) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and also disable all your plugins before update. After update please make sure that no files from version 4 will remain, to make sure of that you can try to update via ftp – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ then update also the theme’s plugins from the /plugin folder, activate it from here – http://screencast.com/t/ZtkWY5ykJgCh and make sure that you use the latest version – http://screencast.com/t/nn2stdsARkr check your site only with Visual Composer active and see if it works.
In the “how to update” guide is specified that you will have to run the script that will import from database your settings, will change the shortcodes. Unfortunately you will have to re-add your widgets in the sidebars as some of them may not be imported or don’t exist anymore, also they will become inactive.

Hi,

Please make sure that you use the latest theme version 6.3 and you also update the plugins that come with the theme files. Then check this only with Visual Composer and Tablepress plugins active, clear cache and purge your files and see if you still have this issue as maybe Tablepress is in a conflict with another plugin and not with the theme. I have also installed and activate this plugin but it did not caused any issues for tagdiv gallery – http://screencast.com/t/l0nWwR88

Please try to use default page template, disable all your plugins, leave only Visual Composer active, clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN, then check if you still have this issue. Also make sure that you use the latest theme version and also you update the plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder. Also if you use child theme please update it to the theme version that you use.

Please note that in version 6 any customization(to the theme files, custom css) from old version will not work and you will have to re-add them. Please make sure you use the latest theme version (2.0) and the Visual Composer plugin provided within it (4.5.3) and test this again and if you still experience this please let us know and provide your admin login details and a link to this tread at contact@tagdiv.com so we can have a closer look at this.

I see that you use version 4 of the theme and you still have that error, usually the javascript errors are caused by plugins that conflict with theme javascript, that why I suggest to disable the plugins and also css/js minification. As you may have also updated a plugin and it may cause this issue. What is the version of the theme and Visual Composer that you use?

This seems to be a caching issue please make sure that you clear all the cache and purge your files if you use CDN.
We only recommend using just page cache enabled(default settings): https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ so make sure you use the same for your cahce plugin.
Also you can check this by creating a new post, disable all the plugins except of Visual Composer, clear the cache and purge your files if you use CDN and see if you articles appears.

We try to keep the Visual Composer plugin fully compatible with the theme and recently that was hard because some issues that caused the VC plugin to use lots resources. Hi,

Please make sure that you use the latest theme version 6.2.1 and also the latest version of Visual Composer (4.5.3) provided with the theme files. Also please deactivate all plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this issue and it is not caused by a plugin.

Hi,

If you use default/pagebuilder with latest articles page template you should not have breadcrumbs if you add elements using Visual Composer to you pages. If you add content without using page builder the breadcrumbs can be disabled from Theme Panel > Template Settings – http://screencast.com/t/cgivfgZ6709 but it will be disabled also on post pages.
You can use custom css to hide breadcrumbs only on pages – http://screencast.com/t/t7AdmHUs

Sorry for delay, we answer to the most oldest topics and because you’ve added a new replies we missed your post!

Please make sure that you enabled 7 days post sorting from Theme Panel > Block Settings – http://screencast.com/t/WbnxbTsx4 also you can check this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active as it might be some plugins conflict. Also test it by editing a post and take a look at custom fields: http://screencast.com/t/mSiJvu61tGj then refresh the post a few times and check if it increments. If those values are changed when the post is viewed then 7 day sort should work properly.
If you want to display only last 7 days created posts, you can use “random posts from last week” sort order – http://screencast.com/t/Xa7PfhAI0vi
