Hello,
Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thank you!
Same issue, same block 12, same ‘load more’.
To replicate the issue:
Install wordpress, theme, visual composer and other required plugins.
Insert at least 10 posts or w/e.
Try block 12 with load more or infinite loading, or w/e.
It will duplicate 1st next post after ‘load more’ or w/e you use.
Hello,
Please only use 1 page builder, not 2. Choose either tagdiv composer or visual composer. Both at the same time will not work. Also, the Mega Addons For Visual Composer were never tested so even if they still work in this update, we cannot guarantee they will still work in future updates as they are not constantly tested and the code adapted for these elements.
Thank you!
Hello jphmaceira,
The Media Grid can be added from Visual Composer and use it from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/y30zJeGCj6
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
Sorry for the inconveniences you are facing using the theme and theme plugins. It is not our intention to cause such issues. The tagDiv composer is in continuous development, it’s functionality and features may change in the future. Currently this composer will be activated automatically the moment the theme is updated or installed. So if Visual composer is preferred and used instead, it will have to be deactivated in these cases.
The transition basically means that pages have to be recreated with the tagDiv composer. There is a level of compatibility between the two composers, elements like blocks and grids share the same shortcodes.
Thanks
Hello,
We know of 3 possible causes for this issue.
1) The wp super cache setting to cache page. Please only use these settings in wp super cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you use any other cache plugin, make sure you do not cache pages for known users or for logged in users depending on the plugin setting.
2) Do not use this setting in seo by yoast: https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh
3) Editing a page that was previously built with another page builder.
You need to edit the page with the builder it was initially created with. Do not edit a page with tagdiv composer if it was not originally built with it. If you created your page in visual composer and then switched to our own page builder, you will have to re-create that page
Please test this on a brand new page with no existing content.
Thanks
Hi,
There is a level of compatibility between the two composers, to make the transition easier. The theme elements like blocks and grids use the same shortcodes, so if there are no issues on the pages, you don’t have to recreate them. Pages that contain Visual composer specific elements will have to be recreated with the tagDiv composer however.
Thanks
Can we at least use Visual Composer and enable it only for posts but not for pages so it won’t conflict with td-composer?
I bought Newspaper and after 24hrs I cant made one single page yet.
Now I discovery that its too hard because the WP Bakery plugin doesnt show all bocks:

I already tried the tip from post: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Hey guys,
I was using the visual composer “tabs” feature on my page. I finaly decided to make the jump to your own tagDiv Composer but as far as I can see there is no such thing as tabs? I originally used tabs to embed multiple html codes (embed codes from issuu.com) and have only one shown at the time. So the tabs kinda worked like a selection/navigation for different publications. Is there any alternative in tagDiv Composer?
Hi,
I have updated the theme to version 8.5 but when I use tagDiv Composer and save the changes, the WPBakery Page Builder and Mega Addons For Visual Composer elements disappear.
Thank you for support
Hello,
The transition guide can be found here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
The tagdiv composer does not have all the elements vc has.
It was not designed to replicate VC and will not have the exact identical elements.
If you do not like the tagdiv composer simply install VC as it’s included in the theme package. You already have it. for free. Please use this guide to install VC back: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
By the way, you never mentioned it was removed in the first place. Not in this topic anyway.
If you cannot use VC, you will have to recreate pages from scratch. What should I help with there? I cannot create the pages for you! You must use the page builder and add content to your pages. The old ones must be removed.
Thank you!
thanks Catalin for your reaction.
I only use standard grids, rows and columns on my site, http://zoektocht.net
———–
we use the same shortcodes as Visual Composer for all the custom blocks, big grids, rows, and columns. The differences come from the shortcode attributes. For example, we have implemented an easier and totally different way to use the CSS box than in Visual Composer.
———–
I don’t have shortcode attributes as far as I know.
the page looks perfect even after disabling visual composer.
recreating the page is a lot of work and at the moment I don’t see the need for it.
so is it still necesary then to recreate it when only using standard things?
this is the code that’s generated for the front page

Hello wicky37,
Please notice that each page builder has own shortcodes for all the elements are used in the page. So, if you want to switch the theme to the TD Composer, you should re-create your pages with this page builder according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-introduction/
Please keep in mind that both of these two-page builders are fully tested with the latest version of the theme and should work as expected with it. Notice that is not recommended to be used in simultaneously mode. Please check the following useful guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/ If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your wp-admin so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello nycinsider,
The equivalent is the same with this. As a suggestion, if you want to commute your builder elements from Visual Composer to TD Composer your should recreate your page with this builder (in this case – TD Composer) to avoid any errors. For more information about this case, please check the following documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/

I am confused. Are the demo sites built with tagdiv?
If I install a demo site today, are you saying that I have to convert it immediately? Would it not be easier for you to redo the demo sites in tagdiv and just push it out to us?
The main reason I bought the theme was sothat I didn’t have to mess around..
Hi,
If you use Visual composer, please deactivate the tagDiv composer from the plugins section and the single images should work properly. Having both composers active can affect these elements.
Thanks
Hello,
I tried to renew the Visual Composer plugin as instructed (add new plugin from the theme’s plugin folder), but ever since my website shows this error (see below). If I uninstall the plugin, the website works, but of course its styling is messy. Please help đ

okay seems as if the problem is the Single-Image-Element by Visual Composer…
I know it’s use is not recommended, but I have to insert pictures in different sizes on my page, for example using a picture at 1920x1080p but only showing a part of 900x300p from the middle…
is there any way to make this option work for me?
Today, we changed from another theme to newspaper.
Now all images used on pages or posts are way too big. We use WPBakery Page builder (formerly Visual Composer), but changes in Picture settings are not applying.
Also, there are maximum heights in html source?! How can I change image sizes in my posts?!
Hi!
I have an issue with sidebars.
In the next link: http://infoactivat.com/prats/municipi/butlleti-municipal/
… I use Page builder + page title. In visual composer, I use a row with 2/3 + 1/3 columns (one of the recommended)
In 1/3 column, I place a Widgetised sidebar from visual composer, and I select a sidebar widget, but is not displayed!
I tried to create the same page in this link: http://infoactivat.com/prats/butlleti-test/
… with Default template and sidebar selected (the same than the other one). And this one is displayed.
I most pages of the web, I’ll need to use Visual composer, so… How can I solve this sidebar issue? In every page of the web I need to place a sidebar.
Please… help!
Thanks!
Hello,
The tagdiv composer is no longer present in the 1 click install, but if you red the guide (why does nobody read the guide?) you will find out how to install it: https://www.screencast.com/t/Fcf1xlQeUc7I Then you will be lead to this page: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ where the first entry is HOW TO INSTALL the plugin
Thank you!
Hello slavamatador,
First of all, make sure that you are using the latest theme version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all the plugins which are untested with our theme because all of these may interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Also, please take this into account, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thanks for the message!
Hello okajones,
For more information about how you can use the Visual Composer, please check our useful demo here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-use-visual-composer/ If you want to know what kind of elements are used in our demo you should inspect all the elements to understand what is being used. As a hint, you can use the inspector browser, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
