Since 11.1 update, Tagdiv changes ADs to another language version. For example, I use gay.blog.br in Portuguese, but i have versions in English and Spanish. So, when i update, the Portuguese version takes English Ads.
Hi,
Usually, this error appears when the requirements aren’t set like in our guide, please make sure you have added the limit also in your wp-config.php file, in config is WP_MEMORY_LIMIT not PHP Memory Limit (there is a typo, sorry) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
please increase all lower requirements and follow all steps => https://www.screencast.com/t/3eF7oKMSOr2J, this problem is when you use plugins that in turn require wp memory limit (WPML, revolution slider) each, in turn, requires 256 MB wp memory.
The easiest way to solve it is to double the wp memory limit.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please do a test using the theme plugins and other plugins that are tested with it=> https://www.screencast.com/t/pvYP8ffHa clear all cache and see if the problem persists.
Also, please check this topic https://stackoverflow.com/questions/57370144/wordpress-database-error-while-access-the-subcategory

Hi GeertBoettger,
So if the problem appear only when you are not logged, most probably it is from cache, please make a test, disable all cache you are using and check to see if the problem is persisting.
Also it can be that you link to be hidden, for this, please check the steps from this topic https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translations-not-showing-unless-logged-in/
Let us know the results!
WPML is the plugin.
Hello,
Please check our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/loading-translations/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
Unfortunately, you can’t translate the Theme Panel => https://www.screencast.com/t/aKRoehRmq9 or the elements from the plugins are included in the theme package => https://i.imgur.com/KlPsIn8.png -> https://i.imgur.com/3pEiJ0n.png

Hi,
Usually, we recommend to our clients to use WPML translate plugin, this can translate the menus/pages/posts/cloud templates.
If you are using another plugin for translation is very possible to interpret wrong the theme menus, also the mobile theme plugin has a different implementation than the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,

Hello!
There are plenty of users that use Newspaper Theme with WPML and they have great results. It is not a teste plugin but our team is working in having it a covered plugin, so in the future WPML should be tested an available. I recommend to use WPML.
Thank you!
Do you suggest WPML plugin for translation or something else?
Can I translate EVERYTHING in this theme with wpml? I mean not only posts but everything in this theme.
Which plugins do you suggest and is the most compatible with this theme for caching and performance?
Thank you!
Hi,
Let’s take these one at a time, to avoid misduerstandings.
In this page – https://blog.turkishairlines.com/en/authors/
I see the biography is indeed translated, but the author name is not it seems. There could be an issue there, I will have to test this on my end as well, and if the same happens I will notify the developer team immediately.
In an author page I see the that the biography and the name are not translated
– https://blog.turkishairlines.com/tr/author/elifdegirmenci/
– https://blog.turkishairlines.com/en/author/elifdegirmenci/
It should be changed if you used the string translation to translate it. I will test this as well.
Regarding the post count, I believe it will count all the posts the author has posted on the website. If you do not want this to happen, there are ways. I could either provide a solution for the author box you are currently using, or maybe you could use other elements in the author template instead of the author box
– https://i.imgur.com/oO2NYXU.png
Regarding the author base in the URL, I don’t think WPML can translate it
– https://wpml.org/forums/topic/author-url-is-not-translated/
You could try the solution provided there, if you would like o change the author base in the permalink.
I will be testing to see how it is on my test install, mainly the author name and bio. These should be changed if they are translated in the string translations in WPML. maybe there is a problem with it however. If I missed something let me know.
Thank you!
Hey there,
We have created a custom layout page to list our authors at the site.. (https://blog.turkishairlines.com/en/authors/)
However, it is not functioning as expected when language is changed.. We translated author lastname (included title) and bio description by WPML string translation.. Even though Bio Desc is published as it is translated, Last Name is name field is not showing the translated string..
In addition to that, when we click on one of the authors on Turkish version, the turkish URL still contains author slug, (https://blog.turkishairlines.com/tr/author/elifdegirmenci/) it is supposed to be “yazar” in turkish..
Please advice and help us to solve below problems;
On list page of Turkish version: https://blog.turkishairlines.com/tr/yazarlar/
- Last name string is not showing as it is translated..
- Author Page URL contains english, it is supposed to be author > yazar
On the author page of Turkish version: https://blog.turkishairlines.com/tr/author/elifdegirmenci/
- Last name string is not showing as it is translated..
- Author Page URL contains english, it is supposed to be author > yazar
- Author post count is wrong cause it is also counting the translated ones. If we cant distinguish this, how can we hide that block?
- Author Bio description loads in english even though it is translated..
Hello!
I just tested the translation from theme panel and it is working fine. Maybe could be a plugin conflict there.
Also, we have a tested plugin for this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!

Also, you have to decide which of the two themes you want to use, delete all tagDiv plugins and reinstall them from plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/R1nkl4vGs

This only happened recently and has been working fine for more than a year! The problem is in the admin panel, and in specific pages. It is not a universal problem. I’m using WPML for the frontend, and don’t need the theme to work RTL!
Please check my first post and screenshots again. Thank you.
Hi Bettina!
Thank you for your reply.
I disable all plugin and reinstall TagDiv Composer but when I activate WPML plugin I receive the same errore. there is a conflict between theme and WPML, how can I resolve it? Do you have any idea?
Thank you!
Hi everybody,
I use the last version of theme, wordpress 5.7.1 and last version of WPML.
When I try to edit some page using “Edit with tagDiv Composer”
Error at zones: 6(models) : 5(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
Has anyone solved it?
After updating from 10.3.9 to 10.4 I am experiencing major problems with the tagdiv editor.
I can’t add new elements or templates via the tagdiv menu.
If you import templates, they are not imported or delete all other elements of the page.
Newly added elements (e.g. spacing elements) cannot be edited or deleted. Also when editing already existing elements the error message appears after a while and the editor freezes.
If you open the console you will see corrupt .js files, which are probably directly related to the tag-div-composer plugin.
The exact error message is:
“changeData Error: Element model id is not in $refEl data! Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”.
In another forum entry the same error is reported in combination with the translation plugin WPML, but I don’t use that.
I hope even with the unspecific information, somecone can give me a hint
Thank you

Hello!
Unfortunately, we have not tested Polylang plugin, so we can’t say if it will work or not. Also, please note that we don’t offer support for untested plugins.

Hi,
I have a WPML plugin on my site
In the second language, in categories without posts, I have a critical error. In categories in which there are posts – everything is ok
Also I have a test site that has a duplicate site that I made via updraft. And the test site has no error in categories without posts
Newspaper and all TagDiv plugins have been updated to the latest versions. Newspaper version is 14.0. WordPress also updated to latest version – 5.7.1, reinstalled WordPress several times
I also disabled all plugins except TagDiv and WPML – the error still remains
If you select No Template in the Category Global Settings in the Theme Panel – everything is ok, there is no error and No posts to display is written
Help, please, I cannot understand what the problem is
