If I understood it correctly you want to make the layout full width, then to change the website width, you need to make sure that you don’t have set a background color/image in the Theme Panel because this makes your website boxed. If you have installed a Pro Prebuilt Website, then these settings are for Standard Prebuilt Websites, create without Cloud Templates.

Also, if the problem persists please check if you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
