Hi

To achieve the desired result you will need a bit of codeing, please check this topic where my colleague Bogdan offered a similar solution: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/open-source-and-via-in-a-new-tab/

Thanks!

Hi

The text from indicated button is located in an iframe and can’t be controlled with custom css from outside. You will need to inject a css directly in this iframe: http://screencast.com/t/kXWgHG9kt Basically button’s style comes directly from Facebook.

Thanks!

Hi

Use this css: http://screencast.com/t/P8UqML2fbcZh

.td_social_type .td_social_info:first-child {
display: none;
}

Keep in mind that we can’t offer customization services and any tasks which involve changing default behavior of a specific feature involve custom work. We can offer support for anything related with theme’s features, by this I mean that we can help users to understand how the theme works, how to use a specific feature. We do our best to offer high quality support and we can afford to offer only small customization. However we can’t change theme’s functionality and any tasks which involve custom works falls beyond the support can offer you. If you want to customize the theme and add/edit features my advice is to look for someone who can help you with implementation or hire a developer to do it for you.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi

I’ve checked your site and Projects page works fine on mobile: http://screencast.com/t/yrhmTjsKg5 If you still have this issue please provide more details about it so we can inspect it closer and get back to you with a more accurate answer.

Thanks!

Hi

I’ve checked you site and noticed that you have a very strong cache. Try to clear all caches then test the site again. If you’re using WP Super Cache as cache plugin note that is not fully compatible with WordPress 4.6. For more details in this regard please check this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-does-not-work-properly/

Thanks!

Hi

Try to update Visual Composer plugin at V 3.1 which is included in theme’s patch: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ clear all caches then test the site again.

Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hi

On posts are fewer dynamic elements, basically there only in sidebar can be displayed blocks. On pages where blocks are usually displayed the html structure is different. You need new width/height values for rows, columns, modules.
We can’t recommend any particular developer as we don’t work with people which offer freelance services. However you can look for a developer on sites like https://studio.envato.com/ which is one of the best site on the market.

Thanks!

Hi

Please make sure that you update the plugin according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ also try to deactivate all other plugins then try to install Visual Composer again.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hi

You will need to update the css to change the current layout for mobile devices. This is a very complex task which involve many customizations in order to be achieved.
We can’t offer custom work at the moment so if you really need this and you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard my advice is to look for someone who can help you with implementation or fire a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

Thanks!

Hi

The theme has been developed to be fast but it may still need configurations on this matters so test your site using google’s page speed insights testing tool(or gtmetrix) and make sure you follow the guide instructions and methods then test your site again.

I’ve tested your site using google page speed and noticed that your server response time is very slow. According to google report it takes more then 5 seconds until the server deliver the requested data: http://screencast.com/t/taHVTK3OB Make sure that the server meets theme’s requirements: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/ and also check if the parameters from system status have the values indicated here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Also try deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test your site page-speed again. In terms of speed we have made a page speed guide and covered the most important aspects that google notifies you of (image optimization, js/css render blocking and more..) and based on which it classifies and grades your site regarding speed. You can find it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

If you decide to use the speed booster keep in mind that is an optional plugin and it was designed to work only with tested plugins – http://screencast.com/t/FXXDNtqfz in case you use other plugins it will be automatically disabled, so please check System Status – http://screencast.com/t/9SmVSXqe To make it work with other plugins you will have to alter the code and remove/comment this – http://screencast.com/t/RZLIOPUNdqh Also you may find some useful information here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/website-memory-problem/https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-booster-and-akismet/

Thanks!

HI

Theme layout relay on a fixed width by 1021px. All blocks, modules, rows and post templates are designed starting from this value. To increase container’s width on pages are required many customizations and tests. You will need to change the layout of all block’s and modules. Basically all theme’s layout must be re-designed.
We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you really need this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

Thanks for your understanding.

Hi

If you don’t need Visual Composer then is not necessary to install it, the theme will works fine without VC, just make sure that you update the theme at V 3.1 as I’ve indicated above.

Thanks!

HI

Thanks @Chris for you help!
@beautywarrior I assume that now you’re using an older version of Visual Composer. In the paste some of plugin’s versions had some issues with high CPU usage but now the plugin was optimized and it works better.
As @Chris pointed would be best to update the theme at V 3.1 which is available on theme forest and also update Visual Composer plugin at V 4.12. Please check our documentation for more details in this regard: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/
Also make sure that the parameters from system status have the values specified in our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and your server meets theme’s requirements: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/

Thanks!

HI

We did not made a decision in this regard and I can’t provide an accurate answer in this matter. However in near future we don’t plan to include mobile theme in Newsmag theme but maybe in future we will consider it for implementation.

Thanks!

HI

We deactivate front-end editor from Visual Composer trough a hook because some times appear issues when theme’s blocks are used. You can enable the Visual Composer front-end editor by removing this code from theme’s functions – http://screencast.com/t/1N4LB7WhP2jR but unfortunately, will not work properly if you use theme’s blocks on the page.

Thanks!

Hi

Please note that the plugin is still ion beta version and there is a change to not work as expected on any wp configuration. It may conflict with one of your plugins so try to deactivate them all, then try to use the plugin again. It’s best to test it on a test install, not directly on your live site, just to make sure that there won’t be any issues.
For other questions related with td-composer plugin please open a thread here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/forum/tagdiv-composer/

Thanks!

Hi

I’ve checked your site and block 14 it’s displayed fine on my side: http://screencast.com/t/sqUuLkBPPRpr If you still have this issue please check if the browser zoom it’s set to default value, because otherwise appear some issues with the layout http://screencast.com/t/o7zGWqA4aVW This is valid for all browsers. You can set the zoom at default value using CTRL+0 command.

Hope this helps.
Thanks!

Hi

You can use a custom date format in wordpress to display the time on posts: F j, Y, H:i http://screencast.com/t/49nRZBlQhttp://screencast.com/t/8Tz9d5hbSkr

Thanks!

HI

That is the style from our demo but you can correct it using this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css:

.td-post-template-4 .td-post-featured-image {
min-height: 110px;
}

Thanks!

Hi

For each change made in theme’s colors or fonts, the theme generate a custom css. That delay appears because the custom css generated by the theme is loaded after main css form style.css file. A solution would be to add all custom css, which can be found in page source, directly in style.css. Currently you have this custom css for your site: http://pastebin.com/F2DAHtgV so try to paste it in style.css: http://screencast.com/t/eVESLB9qL clear all caches then test the site again.

Thanks!

Hi

Unfortunately the theme does not have an option in this regard and for the moment the only way is to set the post template individually for each post from that specific category.

Thanks!

[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]

<?php echo do_shortcode('[td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"]'); ?>
