1. This demo is an old one and is using a default header that can’t be edited with the tagdiv Composer. I suggest you download a new pro demo.
2. Go to the Newspaper -> Plugins, install and activate the Opt-in Builder plugin.

1. A shortcode can be inserted also by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. “Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.

The permalinks could also be created by a plugin. Make a test and deactivate all plugins except tagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache, and try again. You can save an element/block and use it in other pages. It will save also with the settings applied.
