Please switch to the main theme for testing purposes and see if the issue is still present. If it’s gone, you will have to re-create the child theme and make sure you do not rename the theme and child theme. The names must remain intact.

This issue usually happens because of the cache plugin and cdn server. please only use wp super cache and cloudlflare and these settings:

That code excludes the trending now block from the unique articles function. You can exclude others if you want to but you will need coding skills. Anything can be done with the proper coding skills. The limit for the custom ads is 5 but if you insert them to a page, you can add as many as you want. You can place the ad code in a ‘column text’ element on the page so you can place as many different ads as you need on any page.

This is not a theme element. It is a custom wordpress implementation. Sorry but wordpress customization is not part of the theme support. The guide seems to be pretty straight forward. Please read it carefully and make sure you follow each step. Css can be added in the theme panel-> custom css box.

But what is supposed to render the sortcode? Every shortcode needs a program to render it. You cannot use a random shortcode grabbed from another theme or a random site. Each shortcode needs the implementation to support it. Where is the shortcode from? is it a plugin?

Sorry but we have not tested the nextGEN plugin so I cannot say for sure why this happens.
The only tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme are these ones:

WP Super Cache- caching plugin
Contact form 7- used to make contact forms
bbPress- forum plugin
BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site
WooCommerce- eCommerce solution
WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin
Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars
WPML – multilingual plugin

Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.

The jetpack sorting option is a bit “special”. It will not work with any other options on that block. All other settings and filters need to stay on default for the filtering to work properly.
